THINGS WERE STILL a bit rocky between the gang. Everyone was mad at each other.

The only people Skye talked to was Johnny and Dallas. She hadn't seen or talked to Soda in a week, he kept calling her and even went to her house once but she ignored him.

She knew she was being stubborn but he deserved it. He had no right to say anything about her.

And Soda knew that. He regretted those words the moment they came out. He knew he messed up and that she was mad, he kept trying to talk to her but she kept avoiding him.

He was finally able to talk to her when he trapped her at work. She went into the storage closet and he followed her, closing the door behind him.

Skye turned around and she rolled her eyes, "Soda-"

"Can we please talk? I know you've been avoiding me, I just want to talk about this," Soda pleaded. Skye rolled her eyes and she leaned against the shelf, crossing her arms.

"Okay, talk."

"I didn't mean to call you annoying, I didn't mean it I swear, you're not annoying your amazing and I love you, and I am so so sorry," Soda apologized

Skye tried her best not to crack a smile but she just couldn't hold it back. Skye chuckled and she wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him.

Soda pulled away for a second, "Wait, does this mean I'm forgiven?" He asked. Skye smiled, "Yes you dork," she pulled him back in and they continued to make out for a few more minutes.

They got back to work and kept shooting flirty glances at each other from across the room. Soda was tired of stocking up the shelves so he decided to take a small break.

He went over to the register and he placed his elbow on the counter and rested his head in his hand.

"Hey babe."

Skye put her magazine down and cocked a brow, "Why aren't you working?"

"I'm tired."

Skye snickered and she leaned over the counter placing a kiss on his lips. She pulled away and Soda groaned.

Skye gave him a cheeky smile and grabbed his hand, which was much bigger than hers, by the way. She played with his fingers as he stared at her lovingly.

"Have you and Steve made up," she asked him. Soda frowned, "No, we haven't talked since that day,"

"Are you planning on talking to him any time soon?" Skye asked, "The only way I'll talk to him is if he apologizes for acting like a dick," Soda said.

"Seriously? He's your best friend, you two can't be mad at each other forever," Skye said.

"Yes we can, he called my brother a little shit, you can't expect me to not do anything about that," Soda said, raising his voice a little.

"You already know that Steve doesn't even like Pony that much, Steve had no right to say that about Pony but we were all pissed that day, especially with Pony yelling at Johnny that just set us all off, so it makes sense for Steve to be mad at Pony," Skye said.

"I know that but Steve also knows how protective I am of my brothers, I've warned him many times before about calling Pony names and he went ahead and called him a name anyways," Soda said.

"Okay, I'm not saying you have to talk it out now, but you also have to apologize, you pushed him and you were also acting like a dick that day, so both of you need to apologize to each other and work it out," Skye said.

Soda sighed and put his head down on the counter, "Fine."

Skye smiled, "Good, it's weird seeing you two not get along,"

"It feels weird not getting along, this is the longest I haven't talked to him," Soda said, "I bet it does feel weird, you two do everything together," Skye said.

"I'll talk to him soon though," Soda said and Skye nodded. "Have you talked to anyone else?" Soda asked, referring to the gang.

"Only Johnny and Dal, I've only seen Pony at school a few times and I haven't seen Two-Bit and Steve for a week also, and Darry, well he's always at work when would I see him?" Skye shrugged.

"Well Steve's in the back right now fixing up a car, we've been at this for a week and he hasn't said one word," Soda said.

"Then he's probably still pissed,"

"Yeah most likely, Steve really likes to hold grudges," Soda shrugged. "Is Dal still mad at us?" Soda asked, "I honestly don't know, you can never tell with Dallas," Skye shrugged.

"Should I apologize to him too?" Soda asked, "I don't think so, I don't think he really cares," Skye said.

"Well I'll apologize to Johnny then," Soda said and Skye nodded.

Their shift was over and Soda walked Skye home, Steve didn't join them on their walk like he usually did. He waited for them to leave before he could go home as well.

Skye kissed her boyfriend goodbye and she walked into the house. Her mom was on the couch asleep, her eyes were shut but the TV was still on. Skye grabbed a blanket and laid it over her and shut the TV off.

She went straight the bathroom to take a quick shower. After her shower she did some homework and then went to bed.

Soda had went all the way to Steve's house so they could talk, Steve was hesitant at first seeing that he was still pissed off.

But he gave in and let Soda in.

They talked things out and apologized, they were both glad to be on good terms again. Although they would never admit it, they did miss each other.

The next day after school, Skye walked to the Curtis house after not being there for a week. Soda and Steve were still at work, Pony had just gotten there as well.

"Oh, hey Skye, Johnny," Pony greeted them as he threw his books onto the couch. "Hey Pony,"

Skye flopped onto the couch and Johnny sat next to her, "How are things with Darry?" Skye asked.

"The same, things haven't changed much between us, I'm still pissed at him anyways," Pony shrugged. Skye gave the boy a sympathetic look.

"Is dally still mad at me?" Pony asked and Skye nodded, "Yeah, he'll stay mad for a while but he'll get over it," Skye shrugged.

Pony sat down next to Johnny, "Your not mad at me are you?" He asked Johnny who shook his head. "No, you know I don't like to hold grudges, unlike some people," Johnny looked at Skye who gave him an offended look.

"I don't like to hold grudges, and I don't hold grudges, I just hold people accountable and eventually forgive them," Skye shrugged.

"Have you forgiven Soda?" Pony asked, "Yes, actually I have, we talked it out yesterday and I even talked him into talking to Steve," Skye answered.

"And did he?"

"I don't know yet, we'll just have to wait and see till they get back from work," Skye said.

The door opened and Dallas walked in, he sat down on the couch and pulled out a cigarette. He put it in between his lips and pulled out his lighter, he lit it up and he blew a cloud of smoke out.

They all stared at him, well Pony and Johnny stared at him, Skye glared at him.

Dallas felt their eyes on him and he looked at them, "What?"

"Put it out, you know Darry doesn't like you smoking in here," Skye demanded, Dallas rolled his eyes.

"Darry isn't here, is he?"

"So? You think he won't be able to smell it when he gets here?" Skye said, "Oh yeah, put it out Dal, because if he smells that then he'll blame it on me and I already have enough problems with him as it is," Pony said.

Dallas mumbled a few cuss words under his breath and put the cigarette out. Skye got up at some point to make dinner for the boys.

Steve and Soda got back from work an hour later and the food was mostly ready, now it only needed to be served.

Soda headed straight for the kitchen and he wrapped his arms around his girlfriend's waist and placed his head on her shoulder.

"It smells good," he said softly and Skye smiled, "Why thank you."

Soda began to plant kisses down Skye's neck which caused her to giggle, "That tickles," she laughed.

The door slammed open and Two-Bit walked into the house, "Who's cooking?" Two-Bit asked.

"Skye is."

He grinned, glad to hear that Skye was back. He skipped into the kitchen and his bright smile was quickly replaced with a disgusted look.

He watched the couple in disgust as Soda continued to kiss Skye's neck, not noticing Two-Bit standing there.

"Hey!"

Both of them jumped and Two-Bit was quick to pull them apart, "Why are you sucking on her neck? What are you a vampire now? That is disgusting! You don't do that, especially when she's making our food!" Two-Bit scolded Soda.

Soda only rolled his eyes and Skye watched Two-Bit yell at Soda in amusement. "Get out! I will not allow you to suck on her neck like some kind of blood sucker," Two-Bit spat out.

"I wasn't sucking on her neck!" Soda argued as Two-Bit shoved him out of the kitchen. Skye laughed and shook her head at the two.

Two-Bit successfully kicked Soda out of the kitchen and turned to Skye, "Now that he's gone, what are you making?" Two-Bit asked his voice a lot nicer.

Skye chuckled, "I am making food, obviously,"

Two-Bit narrowed his eyes at her, "Don't play smart with me young lady, not after you got your neck sucked by a vampire," he pointed a finger at her.

Skye only smiled innocently and grabbed his finger, "Set the table for me will ya hon?"

Two-Bit rolled his eyes but did as told.

Skye smiled as he walked away, she was glad things were semi normal again.
