IT WAS CONFIRMED.

Skye liked Soda.

After talking it out with Cami, she realized that she did like Soda. "So when are you gonna tell him?" Cami asked, placing her elbow on the counter and resting her face in her hand.

"I'm not."

"Why not?"

"Because he's my best friend, I'm not going to ruin that by telling him I have a crush on him." Skye explained.

Cami sighed and shook her head at the girl, "You can't keep this from him forever." she said and Skye shrugged.

"I can sure try."

Cami rolled her eyes and went back to cleaning off the counter, she stopped once she noticed a certain someone come in.

"Speak of the devil."

Skye's eyebrows furrowed and she turned her head towards the door, her eyes widened as Soda walked in.

He spotted her and he smiled, "Hey girls," he greeted walking up to Skye, "Hey Soda," Cami smiled sending a sneaky look to Skye.

"You okay? You look like you've just seen a ghost," Soda said to Skye, "Oh, no I'm fine." Skye shook her head and Soda nodded.

"Okay, well I just came to tell you that me and the boys are going to a party tonight at Bucks, if you wanna join us later," Soda said.

Skye nodded, "Okay, well I might go I don't know yet, depends what time I get off," Skye said and Soda nodded. "Alright, well if you do go, then I'll see you there." Soda said and Skye smiled as he backed away.

"Yeah see you, maybe." Skye said and Soda smiled and he walked out of the diner.

Skye turned back around and Cami was staring at her, "You're going to that party." she said and Skye rolled her eyes.

"What if I don't want to?"

"Oh I know you want to, you love parties there's no way your not going," Cami said and Skye nodded.

"Yeah you're right."

"Well, just make sure to wear your hottest outfit, because if you're going to that party you're going there to look hot and make Soda fall for you," Cami said and Skye scoffed.

"I'm not going to make him fall for me, he doesn't like me so why force it?" Skye shrugged, "Okay fine, then just make him see what he's missing, maybe make out with a few people while you're at it." Cami smirked.

Skye chuckled, "You know what? I just might."

AFTER WORK SKYE rushed home and got ready for the party. She took a quick shower and she did her hair and makeup and then chose her outfit.

She left her hair down in its natural waves, and she did some light makeup.

Not wanting to be questioned by her mom about her whereabouts, Skye snuck out the window and headed towards Bucks.

Once she got there she could already hear the blasting music coming from inside. Once she got onto the steps, the door flew open and two guys who were fighting came out the door and continued their fight outside.

Buck, who had kicked the two guys out was yelling at the two guys as he pushed them and shouted curse words at them.

Buck stopped shouting and finally noticed Skye standing there, "Oh hey, Skye, come on in." Buck said waving her inside.

"Thanks."

Skye stepped inside and she looked around, the place was packed.

Her goal tonight was to get drunk and forget all about her feelings for Soda. She planned on making out with anyone willing to, she just wanted to have fun and forget.

What's the harm in that?

Skye walked straight to the bar and ordered two shots of tequila. She drank both right up and asked for two more shots.

By her sixth shot, Skye was feeling a bit doozy. She stumbled around the house not really knowing where she was going.

That is until she bumped into someone, "Oh, I'm sorry," she laughed as she held onto the guys shirt. She looked up and her jaw dropped, the guy had beautiful, fluffy, blonde hair, and bright blue eyes that Skye could get lost in for hours.

He was tall, taller than her, he was thin, and he was absolutely gorgeous, like straight out of a movie.

"You okay?" He asked her softly tilting his head a bit to look at her, Skye stood up straight, she was at loss for words.

"I-uh yeah, thanks for catching me," Skye said, laughing awkwardly. The guy smiled, "No problem."

"I'm sorry for bumping into you, I'm-"

"Drunk?"

Skye chuckled, "Yeah, very."

"You need help sitting down?" The guy asked her and she nodded, "Yes please."

The guy grabbed her hand gently and led her to the small couch in the corner of the room, Skye sat down slowly and she rested her head back letting out a sigh.

"I'm River, by the way," River said and Skye opened her eyes and smiled, "I'm Skye."

"So Skye, why are you so drunk?" River asked and Skye smirked, "What? A girl can't get drunk for the fun of it?" Skye said.

"I didn't think girls enjoyed getting drunk?" River shrugged, "Oh we do, it's the hangover that kills us," Skye said and River chuckled.

"Yeah hangovers are hell."

Skye nodded, "So, any particular reason as to why you're drunk? Maybe family issues? Personal issues? Boy issues?" River questioned.

"Boy are you nosy."

River chuckled along with Skye, "How about all of the above?" Skye said and River winced, "That bad?"

"That bad."

"Damn, you sure you don't want another shot?" River asked as he chuckled, Skye chuckled along with him and shook her head.

"No, I think I've had enough for tonight," Skye said and River nodded, "Understandable."

They sat there for a bit in comfortable silence, neither of them wanting to break it.

That is until Sodapop came along and found them, "Oh hey there you are, I've been looking for you everywhere," Soda said to Skye.

"Boyfriend?" River mumbled to Skye who scoffed, "I wish." she mumbled, but neither boys heard.

"Who's this?" Soda asked gesturing to River, "This is River," Skye answered.

"She was drunk so I helped her," River said and Soda cocked a brow giving the boy a suspicious look but he nodded anyways.

"Okay, thanks man, I can take it from here," Soda said and River looked over at Skye who nodded, "Alright, it was nice meeting you Skye, see you around." River said as he stood up.

He sent a bidding nod towards Soda and he walked off, "You feeling okay?" Soda asked Skye sitting down next to her.

"Oh yeah, peachy."

"Wanna go home?" Soda asked her and she hesitated for a moment and then she nodded, "Yeah."

"Can you walk?" Soda asked her and her eyebrows furrowed and she looked down at her legs, she sat up straight and she stood up slowly, she took a step forward and she went tumbling forwards.

"Woah!"

Soda quickly stood up and caught the girl by her waist, "It's okay I got you," he said softly as he helped Skye straighten herself up.

"Okay, well you can't walk, so I guess I'll have to carry you home," Soda said, "No you don't have to do that, I don't really wanna go home anyways so maybe I can just stay at your place?" Skye suggested.

"Yeah that's fine."

"Didn't you guys drive here?" Skye asked Soda, "Yeah but how are the boys supposed to get home?" Soda asked and Skye shrugged.

"They're big boys they'll figure it out," Skye said and Soda chuckled. "Just take the truck so you don't have to carry me the whole way, I don't wanna ware you out," Skye said.

"You won't, I mean you're light as a feather" he said wrapping his arms under her legs and sweeping her off her feet.

Skye let out a small yelp a bit surprised, "See? You don't weigh a thing," he smiled cheekily and Skye rolled her eyes.

"Okay fine, carry me home then, but don't start complaining half way there because your tired," Skye said and Soda chuckled.

"Okay I won't." he said as he carried her out the door, halfway to the Curtis house Skye noticed Soda getting more and more tired.

"You're getting tired aren't you?" She smirked, Soda shook his head, "No, no, I'm good." he breathed out and Skye rolled her eyes.

"I think I'm good to walk, you can put me down now," Skye said and Soda shook his head, "No, I said I'd carry you home and I'm carrying you home." Soda said and Skye shook her head.

"So that guy you were talking to, who is he again?" Soda asked, "His names River, I bumped into him and he helped me sit down because I was too drunk to do it on my own," Skye explained.

"God was he handsome." Skye sighed dreamily, she looked at Soda noticing that he wasn't saying anything.

"Soda?"

"What?"

"You okay?"

"Yeah, fine."

Skye shrugged and they made it to the house, Soda kicked the door open and he walked into his room and he set Skye down gently.

He smiled softly once he saw that she was fast asleep, he put the covers over her and he walked out of the room shutting the door quietly.

Soda sighed feeling quite tired himself, he grabbed a blanket from the hallway closet and he flopped onto the couch.

He got comfortable and before he knew it, he was fast asleep.

Is Soda jealous? I don't know maybe he is๐Ÿ˜ I can't wait to write more of River, his character isn't going to be one of those characters that everyone hates, he's going to be a very lovable character๐Ÿ˜Œ
