SKYE WALKED INTO the Curtis home and she greeted Pony and Johnny who were on the couch watching Mickey.

She walked into the kitchen and greeted Two-Bit and Dallas who were arm wrestling. Two-Bit let out a holler as Dallas slammed his fist onto the table cursing Two-Bit out.

"Ha ha!"

Skye chuckled and shook her head at the two boys, "See, I am stronger than you!" Two-Bit shouted and Dallas glared at him.

"You are not."

"Yes I am! I just proved it!" Two-Bit shouted, Dallas turned to Skye who was watching the two with an amused look on her face.

"Is Two-Bit stronger than me?" Dallas asked her and Skye crossed her arms and smirked, "Yes, he is."

Dallas glared at her as Two-Bit jumped around hollering.

Dallas walked away mumbling a few things.

Skye chuckled and she grabbed a soda from the fridge, she walked back into the living room and was about to sit down next to Pony and Johnny when Pony stopped her.

"No, you don't get to sit down until you talk to Soda." Pony said and Skye rolled her eyes.

"But he's at work!"

"So?"

Skye glared at him and she walked away, "Fine, I'll talk to him." she said making a face.

She finished her soda and threw it away, she walked out of the house and Dallas walked out right after her. "Are you actually going to talk to him?"

"No."

Dallas snickered, "Of course you're not."

"It's not that I'm not ready, I am ready now, but...I just don't want to, at least not yet," Skye said.

"I'm just waiting for the right time."

"And when is the right time?" Dallas asked and Skye shrugged, "I don't know yet."

Dallas looked ahead thinking of something, he finally got an idea and he grabbed Skye's hand and dragged her along.

"What- what are you doing?" Skye asked as she let him drag her to wherever he was taking her, "We're going to see Soda." he said.

Skye's eyes widened, "What?!"

"You're never going to talk to him unless someone forces you to, so you might as well do it now." Dallas said, Skye pulled on his hand trying to get her hand free, but it was no use.

"Is this because I said Two-Bit was stronger than you? Because if it is I'm sorry! You are way stronger than Two-Bit." Skye said and Dallas rolled his eyes.

"No, this is because it's for your own good." Dallas said and Skye groaned.

They got to the DX and Dallas stopped suddenly which caused Skye to bump into his back.

"Ow, what?"

Dallas didn't say anything and just stood there, Skye's eyebrows furrowed and she looked over his shoulder to see what he was staring at.

Dallas turned around quickly blocking her view of whatever he was previously staring at, "Woah! Hey, yeah you were right, I think it's best if we come back some other time." Dallas said as he turned her around.

Skye shrugged his hands off of her and she turned around, "What were you looking at?" She asked him as she pushed him aside so she could see what he was looking at.

"Skye-"

Skye's heart dropped at the sight.

There was Soda, at the counter, smiling, laughing...with Sandy.

Skye stood there, looking at the two. She felt like she had just been stabbed in the heart, why the hell was Sandy here? And why the hell was she standing there talking to Soda?

And why was he talking back to her?

And why were they laughing?!

So many questions were running through her head. "Skye..." Dallas said warily as he placed his hand on her shoulder.

She shrugged his hand off and she turned around and stormed off, "Don't touch me." she mumbled.

Dallas looked back at Soda and Sandy and then ran after Skye, he caught up to her and stood in front of her.

"Skye stop!"

Skye glared at him and she walked past him, he gave her an annoyed looked and stood in front of her again.

"Get out of my way, Dallas!"

"No!"

Skye let out a frustrated sigh and she turned around running a hand through her hair.

"Why was she there? I mean, I thought she left! And yet she has the audacity to come back?! After she cheated on Soda and broke his heart, he still has the audacity to talk to her?! What the hell is wrong with that boy?!" Skye shouted.

Dallas stood there letting her scream, god knew she needed it.

"You know what? I am going to talk to him and I'm going to knock some sense into him because he's obviously too stupid to do anything himself! Why can't he just let her go?! She doesn't deserve him so why does he keep going back to her?" Skye continued to shout.

"Why are boys so stupid? I mean seriously, why are you guys so goddamn stupid?!" Skye shouted.

She took a deep breath and waited for Dallas to speak up, "Well?!"

"Oh, I didn't know if you were done or not," Dallas said and Skye rolled her eyes, "Well were boys, we're just naturally stupid, and assholes." Dallas said.

Skye scoffed, "Damn right you are." she mumbled. "Are you okay?" Dallas asked her and Skye nodded.

"Yeah, I will be, after I kick his ass." she said referring to Soda, she walked past Dallas and she walked all the way to the Curtis home.

She sat on the couch waiting for Soda to get home from work. The boys stayed far away from her, afraid to bother her in case she exploded.

The door opened and the boys eyes widened, Soda was home. Which meant things were about to get messy...and loud.

Steve walked in first and right away he noticed the tension in the room and how quiet it was, "What's going on?" He asked.

"Run." Two-Bit whispered, Steve's eyebrows furrowed and he looked down at Skye who didn't say a word, she didn't even look at him.

Soda walked in and all eyes were on him, Soda looked up and noticed the way everyone was staring at him.

"What?"

Skye raised her head at the sound of his voice, she stood up and turned to him.

Soda's eyes widened as he noticed the angry look on her face, she walked up to him and grabbed him by his shirt and dragged him into his room.

Steve watched the scene unfold with wide eyes, he looked back at the boys who shrugged.

Skye slammed the door shut as she pushed Soda into the room. Soda tumbled forward but caught himself before he could fall flat on his face.

"What the hell?!"

"You're not leaving this room until you tell me what Sandy was doing at the DX." Skye said as she crossed her arms.

"How do you know about that?"

"That doesn't matter! Why was Sandy there? And why were you two laughing and talking? Are you two back together or something?" Skye questioned.

"Sandy is back in town and she paid me an unexpected visit, I didn't know she was in town until today, and we just got to talking and stuff," Soda explained.

"You didn't answer my last question, are you two back together or not?" Skye asked, "No, we're not back together." Soda said.

"Do you still like her? Do you still have feelings for her?" Skye continued to question, "Yeah, maybe, why do you care anyways? Aren't you mad at me or something?" Soda asked as he turned away.

"Yeah I am mad, I'm furious! First you accuse me of lying to you about Sandy, and then you say that you don't want to be friends with me anymore, and then you go and get back with Sandy after she cheated on you! I mean, how stupid are you?!" Skye shouted.

"I have my reasons okay! I didn't want to be your friend anymore for a reason!" Soda shouted.

"Oh yeah? What is that reason?" Skye asked and Soda stayed quiet, "No seriously go ahead, you said you had your reasons, so tell me, what was that reason?" Skye asked.

"I...I can't tell you!" Soda shouted, "Why not?"

"Because you're with River!"

"What? What does River have to do with anything?" Skye asked very confused. "He has everything to do with this!" Soda shouted.

"Well I'm not with River anymore, so go ahead, tell me." Skye said and Soda's eyebrows furrowed, "Wait, you and River broke up?" He asked.

"Yeah, almost a month ago." she nodded and he looked down, "Are you going to tell me or no? Because if you're not then this was a huge waste of my time." Skye said as she began to turn around to leave.

"I like you!"

Skye froze.

She turned around very slowly and met his eyes, "You what?"

"I-I like you." Soda said again a little softer this time,ย  Skye didn't say anything, she just stood there staring at him in shock.

"You...what?"

"Skye." Soda rolled his eyes, "I'm sorry, it's just...what? That's- that's...I was not expecting that." Skye stuttered out.

"Do you need to sit down?" Soda asked and Skye nodded without saying a word, she took a seat on the bed and avoided eye contact with Soda.

"You...like me?"

Soda nodded, "Yeah, I have for a while now." Soda answered.

"And you didn't tell me?!" She shouted, "I couldn't! I didn't realize I liked you until you were already with River, and you were so happy with him I didn't want to ruin that." Soda explained.

"But you're the one who told me to date him!" Skye shouted, "I know! I didn't know I liked you then but now I'm sure." Soda said.

"So the reason you didn't want to be friends with me anymore was because you like me?" Skye asked and Soda nodded.

"Yeah, pretty much."

"Yeah I need a better explanation of that, I'm like, really lost." Skye said and Soda sighed.

"I stopped being friends with you because I like you, I knew that if I stuck around any longer that I wouldn't be able to keep my feelings a secret anymore and that I would ruin everything for you, and that was the last thing I wanted so I had no other choice," Soda explained.

"You might not understand, but I just wanted you to be happy." Soda said and Skye looked down, "I was happy, when I was friends with you, sure River made me happy but he was my boyfriend, you were my best friend and when you said that you didn't want to be friends with me anymore that hurt and instead of making me happy you did the exact opposite,"

"Did you really think that you not being friends with me anymore would make me happy? You know, the only reason I got with River was to get over you, I liked you too and the day I talked to you about River, the day you told me to date him, I was testing you,"

"I was hoping that you would tell me not to date him, but you did the opposite so I decided to move on, and now everything is fucked up." Skye explained.

"You liked me?" Soda asked and Skye nodded, "Yeah I did." she responded.

"Do you...still like me?"

Skye looked down and began playing with her hands, "Maybe."

Soda crouched down in front of her, Skye looked farther away not wanting to look him in the eyes.

He placed his hand under her chin and he turned her head to face him, Skye finally looked him in the eye.

"I like you too...but you already knew that." he said and Skye chuckled, "Yeah I did."

Soda looked down at her lips and Skye did the same, they both began leaning in but they were interrupted by the door bursting open.

"Stop!"

Soda put his head down in annoyance and disappointment, and Skye rolled her eyes and looked up at Two-Bit.

"What?"

Two-Bit walked up to Soda and he grabbed the back of his shirt and pulled him up, he dragged Soda out of the room and into the living room.

Soda sent Skye an annoyed look and she responded with an amused smile and followed the boys out of the room.

"What just happened?" Two-Bit asked and Skye stood next to Soda. "What do you mean?"

"I mean, I didn't just sit there and listen to you two fight for nothing! I need details and feelings and thoughts, so come on, spit it out." Two-Bit said.

Skye and Soda looked at each other and back at Two-Bit, "We like each other." Soda said.

"That good enough for you?" Skye asked, "No! I mean what's going to happen now? Are you two going to date or what?" Two-Bit questioned.

Soda and Skye looked at each other completely clueless. They didn't know what was going to happen next.

Should they date?

Or would that be too soon?

Maybe it would be best if they took things slow for a while, they had just confessed their feeling for each other and things were still a bit weird between them.

"We're going to take things slow, everything is just weird and crazy right now and I think it's best if we just take things slow for now, I mean that would give us a better chance to talk things out." Skye said.

Soda nodded in agreement, "Yeah, yeah I agree, taking things slow is the best thing we can do right now." Soda said looking at Skye who smiled and nodded.

"Whatever you two decide to do we will support you, we're here for you guys." Steve said and they both smiled.

"Thanks Steve."

"I fully support you two, I knew you'd get together at some point." Pony spoke up and and Skye rolled her eyes and smiled.

Two-Bit walked up to Soda threateningly, "You break her heart, and I'll break your face." he threatened and Soda just smiled at him not threatened at all.

"Don't worry Two-Bit, you have nothing to worry about." Soda said smiling at Skye.

Skye looked back at him and smiled brightly.

She was happy that they were friends again, and she was finally happy to not have to hide her feelings anymore.

Not only was she happy, she was relieved.

I CANNOT WAIT FOR THE NEXT FEW CHAPTERS. There is going to be A LOT of fluff and a little bit of drama but who cares! Skye and Soda finally admitted their feelings to each other and that's all that really matters.
