THAT NIGHT SKYE didn't sleep at all, she stirred around in her bed just thinking about Soda. Thinking of ways on how to tell him without really hurting him, she knew he'd be heartbroken but she wanted to tell him in a way that wouldn't completely break him.

The next morning when she woke up, she looked like a zombie. She technically was.

She got ready the best she could and she was on her way to the Curtis home. It was Sunday which meant it was Soda's day off.

How nice.

Once she walked into the Curtis home, she was met with shouting and wrestling. "Oh yes, because this is how I want to be greeted in the morning, thanks guys." Skye said sarcastically, walking past the boys.

They ignored her and continued to wrestle, Skye rolled her eyes and she walked into the kitchen where, surprisingly, Soda was making breakfast.

"Wow, look at you making breakfast," Skye smirked and Soda smiled to himself proud.

"Why are you making breakfast?" Skye asked him hopping onto the counter, "Sandy's coming over for breakfast, and I'd thought I'd make it just for her," Soda grinned.

Skye's smiled dropped.

"Oh...right, Sandy, yeah, that sounds...that sounds great Soda, I'm sure she'll like it," Skye said scratching the back of her head.

"You really think so?"

"Yeah, I do."

Soda smiled and Skye looked down, she couldn't tell him. He looked so happy, she didn't want to ruin that for him.

She hopped off the counter and she went into the living room where the boys were still fighting. Skye let out a huff and she walked up to them, she grabbed Steve by his ear and she grabbed Two-Bit's arm pinching it slightly.

She pulled them away from each other and they stood up a bit, "Ow, Ow, Ow, Ow!" they both said repeatedly.

"You gonna stop?"

They both nodded and Skye grinned, "Great." and she let go of them and sat down on the couch. Dallas walked in a few minutes later, Johnny by his side.

They both sat down next to her and she greeted both of them. "Any luck with you know who?" Dallas whispered to her, Skye shook her head.

"She's coming over for breakfast." she whispered back rolling her eyes, Dallas sighed.

"Sucks."

Not soon after, Sandy walked in a bright fake smile on her face. "Oh look, it's satan." Skye said annoyed with her already, Dallas chuckled at her comment.

"Hello boys." Sandy said and her eyes landed on Skye and a smug smirk appeared on her face and she waltzed into the kitchen where Soda was.

Skye scoffed, "Bitch."

"Did she just call you a boy?" Two-Bit asked Skye, Skye shrugged and crossed her arms.

"Guys, breakfast!"

The boys rushed into the kitchen ready to eat, Skye walked in slowly really dreading this breakfast. "You know, I'm not that hungry so I think I'm just gonna-" Skye began but Dallas grabbed her arm and sat her down.

"You're staying." he demanded and Skye glared at him and sunk back in her seat, "Fine."

The whole time they ate, Skye ignored Sandy the best she could. She tried her hardest not to expose the girl right there and then.

It was hard, but she did it.

"I'm surprised you lasted," Dallas said as they walked back into the living room, since they were finished with breakfast.

"I had too, because someone wouldn't let me leave." Skye said and Dallas grinned.

"You're welcome."

Skye rolled her eyes and she flopped onto the couch, laying on her stomach.

She was just starting to get comfortable when she felt a heavy weight on her back. She lifted her head up and looked back to see Two-Bit sitting on her, "Two-Bit!"

Two-Bit laughed as she struggled from under him, "Get off me!"

Two-Bit wouldn't budge so she had to take matters into her own hands, she flipped herself over causing Two-Bit to slide off her.

He landed on the floor with a loud thud and Skye sat up, laughing.

Two-Bit pouted as he stood up, "No fair."

"Your the one who sat on me" Skye argued and Two-Bit shrugged, "Not my fault it was so tempting."

Skye rolled her eyes and Two-Bit plopped down next to her, he wrapped his arm around her shoulders and rested her head on his shoulder.

"You seem tense, what's wrong?" He whispered to her, Skye shrugged.

"Nothing, just some...family stuff," Skye lied, "Hope everything's okay," Two-Bit said and Skye smiled.

"Yeah, everything's fine Two, don't worry about me." Skye said and Two-Bit nodded and smiled.

Sandy left about an hour later and Soda left with her to walk her back home. Darry was at work as usual, Pony and Johnny left for a walk.

And Steve was out with Evie.

So it was just Two-Bit, Dallas, and Skye left in the house. The three were watching Mickey a few hours later, when Soda walked into the house.

"Hey Skye, can I talk to you for a sec?" Soda asked her gesturing to his room, Skye looked over at Dallas who gave her a knowing look and she looked back at Soda.

"Yeah...sure."

Skye stood up and they walked into Soda's room, Soda sat on the bed and Skye shut the door behind her.

"So, what's so important that you had to tell me in private?" Skye asked.

"I think I'm gonna ask Sandy to marry me," Soda blurted out and Skye's eyes widened.

"What?"

"I know it sounds crazy, but I just love her so much and I feel like if I don't ask her now then I'll never be able to," Soda explained.

Skye stayed quiet.

"I mean you're a girl, give me some advice on this, do you think I should do it?" Soda asked her and Skye sighed.

"Okay, before I say anything else, there is something I need to tell you, I didn't want to tell you like this but I don't have much of a choice now," Skye said.

Soda's eyebrows furrowed, "Okay?"

"About two days ago, after I left the diner, I was walking through the park, and I saw this car parked in the parking lot and it looked empty so I went to go check it out in case anyone needed help,"

"There were people in the car, a couple, and they were making out, I didn't get a good look at the guy, but I saw who the girl was," Skye explained and Soda waited for her to continue.

"Soda it was Sandy."

Soda felt his heart drop.

"W-what?"

"I'm sorry you had to find out this way, but I had to tell you, I couldn't keep this to myself any longer and watch Sandy continue to hurt you," Skye said.

Soda stayed quiet, still processing everything.

"I know you love her, trust me I really do, but she cheated on you Soda, and I'm not going to sit here and let her do it again, I'm not going to let her lie and hurt you because you deserve better than that,"

"N...no, your lying, Sandy wouldn't do that," Soda finally said, "But she did! I'm not lying, why would I lie about something like this?" Skye practically shouted.

"I don't know! You tell me, I know Sandy, and I know that she didn't cheat on me, she loves me, she would never hurt me!" Soda shouted.

"She already did! You're just too stubborn to see it!" Skye shouted back.

"No I'm not too stubborn, I know she didn't cheat on me, and you're just lying because you don't like her, I should've seen it sooner, when you accused her of saying horrible things to you when you clearly took it out of proportion and made it seem like Sandy was the bad guy,"

"You know, now that I think about it, you probably said something to her that made her say those things to you." Soda said and Skye scoffed.

"Oh my god, are you really that blind? How can you not see how horrible Sandy is? She's a bitch!" Skye shouted.

"No, you're a bitch!"

Skye was taken back by his words.

She didn't expect him to say that, at all.

Skye took a step back, "You're right, I am a bitch," she said, "Don't come running to me when she hurts you, because I won't be here." Skye said.

"I hope you and Sandy are very happy together."

Skye walked out the door not bothering to look back, she didn't stop walking till she got to her house.

After Skye left, Two-Bit and Dallas who heard the whole conversation, went into Soda's room.

"What the hell is your problem, man?" Two-Bit asked Soda who was sitting on his bed, his head in his hands.

"She said Sandy cheated on me," Soda said, "She did." Dallas said.

"We're you there?"

"No."

"Exactly, how do you know she's not lying? You weren't there, besides we all know how much Skye hates Sandy, she could be making all of this up for all we know," Soda said.

"She's not lying, Soda it's Skye, you really think she'll lie to you about something like this?" Dallas said and Soda looked down.

"I don't know, maybe she would." he mumbled and Dallas shook his head, "Whatever man, stay with Sandy we don't care, but if she hurts you...then that's on you." Dallas said and he walked out of the room.

Two-Bit shook his head and walked out.

Soda let out a sigh running a hand through his hair, what was he gonna do?

He didn't know who to believe, but he knew he was going to have to choose.

Somehow.

Soda and Skye got into their first big fight. It won't last though so don't worry, things are starting to get good😏
