"We doing matching pajamas this year." Nelson said as they walked through the mall.

"Ian doin that shit." Amirion said as he walked behind Neveah, holding her waist.

"Yes the fuck you is." Nalea said as they walked into JC Penny's. "They have all the cute pajamas in here y'all." She said as she walked off somewhere.

"Why don't you wanna do it?" Neveah asked him as they all split up to go find some pajamas.

"That shit is dumb. What the hell we all needa be dressed alike for one night for?" He asked as someone texted his phone.

"Who's that?" Neveah asked trying to look at his phone, making him look at her with a mug.

"Mind the business that pays you, Neveah." He said as he stopped in front of some pajamas.

"We getting these. Go get them." He said to Neveah. She rolled her eyes and went to go get Nelly then.

"Mir found some pajamas for us." Neveah said as she saw the rest of the group.

"Mir? This nigga ain't never-" Nelly started but got cut off when Nelea dragged him by his ear, following behind Neveah.

"Let my ear go, hoe!" Nelson whispered-yelled so he didn't bring attention to them. Nalea let his ear go as they approached Amirion.

"Oh yea, these cute." Imani said as she looked at the pajamas that was in front of them.

"Duh, I picked em out." Mir said picking up his size in the pants, then looked back at her like she was slow.

"I'll cut them tree shits off yo head." Mani mugged him referring to his freeform dreads. To this day, none of the crew know why he got them.

"Touch my hair and yeen gon be breathin' again." He threatened making her laugh. He loved his hair. It's different, and it stood out to him. He didn't wanna be like "regular" people.

"You really will go to war behind them ugly ass shits." She said as she laughed harder.

"Heavy on the ugly." Lea joined in.

"I'm ready to go. Let's get the pajamas and get the fuck." Nelly said as he started feeling sleepy. He yawned, covering his mouth.

"Yes, your highness." Lea bowed and they got their sized.

"Okay let's switch the subject." Neveah mumbled scrolling through her tiktok 'For You' page. She was bored and Mir was out doing something.

She was about to turn over when she heard her phone start ringing. She looked at the caller ID and she saw it was an unsaved number.

She was deciding if she wanted to answer it or not but something told her to answer.. So she did.

She answered the regular call and put it on speaker. "Hello?" She called out to the phone.

"Veah, why you blocked me?" She heard Boogie's voice boom through the phone speakers. She rolled her eyes and laid down in the bed.

"I already know you got a whole female. You not finna keep playing me like i'm dumb, Bryson." Neveah said pulling the covers over her and putting the phone on the charger. The only reason she was still on the phone is because she was bored.

"Neveah, wasn't nobody playing you like you was dumb. The bitch is a crazy ex, I already told you what it was." He said from the other side of the phone, slighting telling the truth.

"You lied about that. They already told me." Neveah said finna hang up.

"You got proof that that's my bitch? Neveah, I only want you, bruh." He said sighing, honestly speaking. The only reason he didn't break up with Kaylee was because it would break her heart. He broke up with her when Neveah left.

"Just come with me for a little bit and i'll explain everything. You don't have to, of course. I just wanna explain myself in person." He said looking at the phone.

She sighed giving in. She was single so she could do whatever she wanted. "Meet me at the mall." Neveah said. She wouldn't dare send Boogie to a place her friend laid his head.

"Ok, gotchu." He said then hung up.

Neveah got dressed and called her a Uber. She waited until the Uber got there and went outside to get in.

15 minutes later, she arrived to the mall and got out going in. She send Boogie a text saying she was there & told him where she was. She was heading to the foodcourt for Chinese food.

A couple minutes later, Boogie came walking towards her, looking good as ever. (As she thinks).

"Hey, Veah." He said sitting down in front of her.

"Talk." She demanded as she sat back in her chair.

"I was with this girl since before I met you. I planned on breaking up with her but I just couldn't. It would've broke her heart but when you left, I knew what it would feel like if you was outta my life and ian want that forever. So I broke up with her." He explained.

"But you said she was a crazy ex?" She looked at him with her eyebrow raised.

"I was lying to keep you, obviously. Keep up." He mumbled the last part.

"Boogie, in all honesty, I don't think we'll ever get back to the point we were before because since you did that to her, what would I be to think you wouldn't do it to me? I think we'd be great friend though." She told him making him nod.

"Okay, I respect that. You wanna shop? Everything on me, Phat." He said, just glad that they were talking again.

"I'll never turn down no free stuff. First I want Chinese food." She said making him laugh and nod.

"Alright, I got you."
