After meeting kösem sultan , i was taken to my room , it was quite a norma sized one not very fancy and not very bad just average .

I was assigned to help some of the concubines , i was not given tough things to do since i didn't belong to sultan ahmet's harem .

Today was quite different since i was assigned to serve atike sultan for the first time . I went straight to her room and i bowed to her as she was sitting in the corner of her room .

" Come in " she said taking some boxes from her drawer . " I want you to help me in organizing this " she said patting a seat next to her which i took eventually

" What can I do " i asked while examining her huge drawer .

" I will get rid of jewerlies i don't use " she said putting a necklace aside " you will help me " she said giving me a big smile which i returned

I did as told and put away every necklace she didn't want .

" You seem very kind " atike sultan blurted out and i was rather surprised than complimented .

" thank you sultanim you are too " i smiled back at her .

" So tell me did you like any of my brothers " she was so frank and straight forward it was scary at some point .

" Wait what no why would i " i answered baffled by her questions and she chuckled .

" Come on , not a single one " she continued teasing me as she opened her boxes .

" I thought maybe since you don't belong to my father's harem you can join one of my brothers " i facepalmed immediately and laughed it off

" I don't know " i was very confused that this was the only thing i could say .

" Well if you want my opinion , my brother ibrahim and you match very well " she said with so much amusement and i felt so awkward .

" I was just kidding as if his concubine would even let you approach him " she said quickly switching her mood

" Who is she " i asked out of curiosity .

" Turhan " she answered briefly before looking at me " she is the biggest snake to ever exist in this palace " without noticing she smashed a box on her table .

Turhan was obviously not the type of woman to mess up with .

" anyways i won't talk about her right now " atike sultan shrugged off the subject

I spent with her for an hour organizing everything she had so many jewerlies and we ended up getting rid of half of them and she ended up giving me three earrings and two necklaces .

" Before you go aspasia , i will talk to lalezar and from now on you'll be in my disposition , i want you to serve me " I was happy i was gonna be with her since she was very kind and generous i knew i would be at ease with her .

" Thank you sultanim " i bowed down to her and she smiled , i then left her room and went to mine .

I was gonna spend less time in this room and i wasn't really complaining ,at least i wouldn't sit bored all day . I changed into another dress since i've been in this one all day , i decided to braid my hair before i go to atike sultan later .

I still had no friends in the palace and honestly i was good myself , i decided go out a little bit to wander around the harem .

" Next time you will learn how to respect sultanas " i heard a woman yell in the center of the harem .

" What happened " i asked a girl who stood next to me and she whispered " Turhan sutlan " .

She indeed looked scary and intimidating , she was yelling at a blonde haired girl who looked so scared of her . Why was no one stopping this turhan ? The girl has dropped a vase infront lf her but didn't scratch nor turhan nor anyone

" Come " i said while walking towards the poor girl who looked scared for her life .

" Who are you to interfere in this ? " turhan yelled at me while she approached me .

" I am not interfering but i think what you did to her isn't fair " i approached her " sultanim "

" What kind of insolence is this , aghas take this uneducated poor thing to dungeons and let her rot " before any agha came in to grab my hand i heard someone clear their throats and it was atike sultan .

" Turhan just what do you think you're doing " atike sultan walked furiously towards turhan who bowed down to her .

" I've heard the entire thing , you can't just do whatever you want in the harem . You better know your place " atike sultan continued yelling at her and turhan couldn't even look at her .

" Come on aspasia i need you " atike sultan said before making me follow her to her room .

" Unbelievable " atike said before opening her room letting us in . " look aspasia i will have dinner with my brothers i want this room all clean and prepared " she explained to me and i nodded after her .

I called in the maids who are assigned to needed to help me and we three arranged it beautifully , both of them went to bring the food in while i lighted up the candle until i noticed a missing one .

I excused myself from atike sultan who was already seated and left her room to go search for a new candle until i felt someone snatch my arm strongly and a rock smashed down on the floor making me close my eyes .

I opened them slowly as my eyes met a familiar pair of eyes , it was şehzade kasım . He immediately backed off .

" Are you fine " he asked looking at my arm who got red from his strong grip .

There was something in him or his voice that made me feel safe .

" I am , i can't believe you saved me from death " I said looking at the rock who fell from upstair . I smiled in response

" It's you .. " he whispered before getting close to me ,he then put his hand on my hair and tossed it behind my shoulder and he actually started staring at my birth mark

" I remembered it from that day " he smiled before taking off his hand ,i scratched my neck in embarassement .

" Yeah that was me " i laughed it off " thank you for that " he gave me a reassuring smile before he started walking towards atike sultan's room and i walked towards it too

" are you following me or " he said stopping in his tracks .

" Absolutely not , i'm atike sultan's servant " he laughed at this coincidence and we both walked to atike sultan's room
