Homusubi made her way to the top of the building Keigo was on. And there he was, sitting on the ground while gazing up at the thick clouds that had snowflakes falling from it.

His golden eyes soon fell to lock with her blue ones, causing his lips to form a shy smile. She remained to have a casual expression while making her way to flop down beside him, but the atmosphere was still quiet. His red wings caught her attention, it seemed to have grown bigger in just a little time, making her think that he's growing stronger too.

"Your wings..." She spoke softly while dragging the back of her palm down the soft red feathers, "... They symbolize freedom."

"Oh!" His cheeks turn the same colour as his wings as his shoulders tensed up at the sensation, "Haha, t-thank you, Musubi..."

She was slightly surprised before cocking her head with a smile, "I'm thankful that you still call me by that name. It's my top one favourite. My second favourite is piggy."

"Someone calls you piggy?" The air around him darkens.

"Yeah, but it's fine! I told you it's my second favourite." She giggled and so did he. A comfortable silence falls upon them once again...

"Hey, Kei."

"Hm?"

"I'm... thankful that you're here with me."

"Yeah... I-Is there something... you want to tell me...?" His expectations shot through the Earths' atmosphere.

"Yes..."

"O-Oh..." His heart pounds against his chest, "... W-What is it?"

"... You should forget about me, Keigo."

It shot a hole through his heart, "H-Huh?"

"I'm only going to hurt you in the end." She avoided eye contact while glancing at the side, "... Just like what I did to others."

Consider another hole was shot through his heart again as he began to get on his knees, "But Homusubi I!--"

"I've hurt too many people. I'd rather watch you live your life from a mile away than see you die beside me." She stood up with her hands stuffed in her pocket, "When you become a top hero, get someone who will love and be faithful to you.

"Musubi! You don't get it!" He quickly stood up too, facing her straight in the eyes, "I... I...! I LOVE--"

"This'll be goodbye."

She coldly cuts him off while turning her back against him to leave. He growled in irritation before snatched her hand to forcibly turn her around so he can yell at her face.

"YOU CAN'T JUST COME INTO SOMEONE'S LIFE, MAKE THEM FEEL SPECIAL AND THEN LEAVE LIKE THIS!!! DON'T YOU KNOW WHAT I WOULD FEEL?!"

Homusubi couldn't bring herself to look at him in the eye while gently pulling her hand back.

"... I'm sorry... and happy birthday."

"NO!!!" He pulled her back again to hug her tightly.

"Keigo?! What are you--"

His bright wings spread and they sky-rocketed to the sky, bursting through the clouds and flew to the highest point where they can see far more than the horizon. It felt like they could reach the starts at this point.

Her eyes widen in shock from his sudden confession in the middle of the vast sky. He wasn't finished yet.

Then, it didn't take long for a pair of warm and bigger wings to envelop both of them.

When he opened his eyes, Homusubi had created a pair of flaming wings for herself. Resting her chin on the nook of his neck, a river of tears flows down her breathtakingly blue orbs. She clenched her jaw while holding him as tightly as he held unto her. Not wanting to say anything anymore because she knows he is such a persistent man.

"Just cry on my shoulders..." She sighs while softly running her fingers down his silky golden locks, "... It may be the last time."

That made Keigo break into more tears but he could feel their heart moving closer to each other.

'I can not give myself to you, because I am afraid that I'll only burn the wings that gave you freedom.

But... truth to be told...' She moves away and their eyes met one more time. Holding his chin softly, she leans in to press her lips against his...

'I love you as much as you love me.'

His eyes widen in shock as his heart skipped a beat. Her mind not having any more sense to keep her fiery wings around them, and it disappeared the same time she pulled away from the innocent kiss. With Keigo melting into her touch even more, it didn't take long for the gravity to slowly begin pulling them back to fall in the air with her in his arms.

Keigo quickly makes use of his wings to fly through the air while holding her tightly against his chest, protecting her from any harm that opposes at this sweet and vulnerable moment...

A friendship that's on the verge of crumbling apart. One fights for it, but the other gives up. But maybe it might have a chance to be restored in the future. Both friends which want each other to stay, but because of different circumstances, they needed to make a decision they never wanted to do...

Which was to part ways... for the greater good.

After landing at the helicopter grounds of the hospital, they didn't look at each other in the eye under the presence of Enji. Her little siblings couldn't bear to see her leave. With the helicopter ready to take off, outside of it stood a youthful beautiful lady sporting a sundress, her blue eyes showing her relation with the Todoroki's, but her hair made out of hot lava made her stand out from the rest.

Keigo bowed down to her father, glanced up at her one last time, give her the warmest smile he won't give to anyone else and flew off.

Now it was time... For the moment to end, Homusubi took a deep breath, walked towards her granny and bowed her head down as an honorary. The doors were wide open for her to enter, but she turns around to let this memory linger. As her eyes met her fathers', she could imagine herself running across the field and hug him tightly, but she is afraid that she'll change her mind about living with her grandmother. She turns back to the helicopter, and it took all of her strength to get inside it.

Her fathers' eyes fell to the ground before looking up at his mother, asking for even an ounce of consideration since she was the one who initiated the plan to separate Homusubi for safety. But the lady only nodded at him as a sign of reassurance that it will be fine. They soon settled in, doors slammed shut and didn't take any time longer for the helicopter to take off. Homusubi pressed her hand against the window to look over her father and who waved his hands with glimmering eyes.

Homusubi's lips quivered as she moves away from the window. Her grandmother who elegantly sat beside her, noticed this from the corner of her eyes. Despite the seatbelts keeping them safe, it didn't stop her from giving her sweet grandchild a warm side hug and let her head lay on her lap. The girl was trying so hard to keep her tears from ever flowing out while she feels her heart squeeze just by the thought of going oversees to leave her country, but it was all in order to protect them.

Enji heaves a sigh while letting his hand fall limp once the helicopter disappeared into the clouds. Finally letting his heart let out a cry now that he's alone. But, all of his hope is now focused on the future of his daughter.

A future that will start a new beginning...

As the black and red colored helicopter passes over the city. Many kids looked up at in admiration and tell their friends about it. It was rare to see helicopters in a peaceful day.
