โ€ข Homusubi's pov. โ€ข

After my two successful surgeries, I had to be in the hospital to recover and rehabilitate. As I lived there for 5 months, I also took the opportunity to take care of my precious brother Shoto. Although, I'm a bit worried that he's so quiet and not sociable.

Tsuki also comes by to just steal my fruits and dump my school work. I asked him about Rumi, and all he says is that she's taking my responsibilities at school so she's a little too busy.

Keigo, on the other hand, visits me sometimes, that is only whenever dada is out. His personal training is still on going. I tell him not to visit, but that guy persists to steal my bed from me. Sometimes, I just can't help but wonder what's going on inside his head.

Then my father and the rest of my siblings also had their own lives too so they weren't there for me the whole day. In the end, they discovered the truth about mom being in a coma, they couldn't accept it at first but thankfully... my siblings started to have hope instead of despair.

By the time I completely healed up, Shoto did too and I never felt better than before. All of us got back home with our private van with... uh... All... Might...

Though, since he was too big, he had to hug his knees while inside our van driven by dada. All of my siblings looked up at him with wide and sparkly eyes. He flashes a grin to the kids and Enji in the driver's seat grew insecure. I smiled awkwardly, "A-Are you sure that you're not busy at all, Hero All Might?"

"After taking care of Touya, Natsuo, and Fuyumi willingly I can't help but feel attached!-" He looked away in embarrassment, "-It's just... Even I don't have a family..."

Enji grumbles, "That doesn't mean you can come to our house--"

"We're ALWAYS welcome to the number one hero himself!" I reassured with a wink, "And he just wants to make sure we're safe dada."

I smiled warmly at our guest with flowers and bubbles floating around. Unlike Enji who had blazing fire covering around his eyes and jaw.

"Not only do I help civilians but heroes too!"

"Sugeee!" Fuyumi finally comments and then quickly slaps her mouth in embarrassment. I know how much of a hero lover she can be too.

"Haha... Yes." I nodded, "Oh and would you like to stay for lunch? We're indebted to you after all."

"A kind offer like that is impossible to be turned down!" He laughs with his heart.

Enji smelt caps, 'I will never be indebted to him.'

Somehow, All Might could feel the glare of the fellow hero through the rear mirror without looking at it. He did not want to say anything instead, as he already about the fiery man's ambitions. " *ahem* Who wants to hear a joke?"

"Me! Me!" Natsuo raised his hand from the back.

"Alright. What do you call-- LOOK OUT!" All Might forced himself to turn around and shield the children in his arms.

Enji's eyes widen as a huge black, scaly dragon with a pair of wings and horns, dived down in a distance ahead of the road. Its eyes glowing brightly.

It opened its mouth and shoots a loud beam of fire in their direction. Burning everything in its path, and turning the van and the people inside into silent ashes.

Homusubi gasps while lifting her head, having the feeling of being carried by strong arms.

"Dada?!" She asked in a panic.

Enji hums while glancing down to meet her blue eyes, "Ah, you fell asleep earlier." He gently sets her down on the ground, "But we're home now and everyone's inside."

'... Of course...' She sighs of relief, 'Psh, dragons don't exist.'

"Phew! I missed this place already." The moment she entered through the door, the memory of arguing with her father shows before her eyes. She blinks and it's gone. A smile of relief forms on her lips, already promising herself that she'll try her best to raise him rather than drag him down.

"I brewed some tea in the meantime." All Might laughed softly while politely setting down the cups of tea on the coffee table.

"I am grateful but it seems a little disrespectful to do it without the owners' permission." Enji crossed his arms while wearing a strict expression.

"Daaaada its fiiiine!" Homusubi laughs nervously while patting his arm, "Thank you very much, Hero All Might!-- wait... That smell... Is that?!"

"YES IT IS! Green tea! I learned from young Touya that it's your favourite. Hehe."

"Woohoo!" Her eyes sparkled as she did not hesitate to dash down the living room and sat on a chair to drink a cup of tea, "Mmm it's really delicious!--" She cut her self off.

"I-Is something wrong?" All Might asked.

"You didn't poison it, right?" Enji loomed over him from the side, making the innocent and peace-loving man helplessly defend himself.

"No... I just... remembered something." She lets out a small laugh while still carrying her drink, "Dada, please take care of hero All Might, he didn't hesitate to lend you a hand. Heroes are here to support each other, not fight each other." That was all it took to silence him while she walks upstairs.

"You... Haha..." All Might smiled nervously, "You have a sca-- WONDERFUL daughter."

"... Yeah..."

As soon as she was away from anyone else, with the adults downstairs and the other kids in their room. The girl sets down her tea on a table in the corridor before walking up to her father's office, out of pure curiosity. Entering the room presented her with the traditional Japanese office. She took silent steps deeper into the room until a particular board filled with papers and strings on the wall caught her eyes.

There papers that had information written it. Information that would make anyone confused about why Enji has this in his room. No to be more precise... how did he get this?

'>>The 'clan' consists of hundreds of members with different fire quirk skills.' is written on a note.

'>>Most of the members I tracked and caught says that Todoroki is their main bloodline.' is written on another.

'>>After researching my family tree. I learned that what they said were facts.'

'>>their goal: Trying to revive the King(?) by finding a vessel(?) It seems the vessel is similar to the heir.'

'>>All of the 21 members I caught had a dragon tattoo on their back.'

'Questions:

What KING are they talking about?

What about the VESSEL?

WHERE can their clan be found?

WHAT could they achieve with all this?'

"All these time... he's been..." She stumbles a few steps back and bumped against the back of the couch with unblinking eyes, "He's been trying to track them down all by himself?"

Her eyes flickered to that those particular questions, 'Vessel. Mr Katana guy also said the same thing to me as if I was the one who had the vessel. But I don't know what he was talking about... Is it a jar? Or something else?

And then the place where the clan might be found... It sounds fishy but it might be the place Phoenix-nee-san told me about. Could they really be found in the Amaterasu cave?'

At that moment. A burning feeling hits her stomach stronger than Saitama's punch. She groans in pain, bending over while pressing a hand against her stomach, 'What the hell?!' Sweats formed and dripped to the ground as she tries to endure the sizzling feeling sensation.

'Why- *gulp* - why am I seeing things...?!

A... A glowing sword...?

It's in the... basement...?' She returned from the images flashed and breathed heavily. '... I need to go there.'

She did do it so silently, not leaving a creak on the floor with each step. Going past the entrance of the living room. Enji was silently giving death threats with his eyes to All Might. Until, she arrived there, and walked down the cold flight of stairs in this narrow corridor.

Once she arrived there, it was merely a place filled with old and broken things. Specks of dust and dirt lived there, together with spiders with their cobwebs. She huffed and spun around, in search of the item she had seen. Only freezing on where she stood when something shines against her eyes through a hole.

๐˜Š๐˜ฐ๐˜ฎ๐˜ฆ ๐˜ต๐˜ฐ ๐˜ฎ๐˜ฆ. . .

Looking up ahead at the wall, she realized that there was a different part, it's height reached from the floor to the ceiling. The colour difference could only be seen with those having keen observation. The girl approaches it carefully, and gently pushed the wall. A bright red pattern glows on that wall as it moves a few centimetres deeper inside before it automatically moves to the side like a sliding door.

She gasps as her appearance lits up before the sword that had pure white flames coated on the blade.

It was chained up against the wall with a lock. But despite that, it didn't stop from shining like it was the sun itself.

"Nee-san?"

She hearted skipped a beat as she quickly turned around with wide eyes, facing who it was, "Touya?" She tries to block what lived inside, "W-What are you doing here...?"

"I saw you earlier and followed you he-- W-WHAT IS THAT?!" But sadly, he took a glance at it. Naturally resulting in him having a confused and worried expression, "Onee-san get away from it!"

"No-- Touya calm down." She snatches her wrist back from him and held his shoulders firmly, "Calm. Down."

"B-b-b-but!-"

"We don't want father to hear about this. He'll be really mad."

He pouted, closed his eyes and took in a deep breath to relax, "Alright, I'm fine. I'm fine. So... Will you tell. What. In the world. Is that doing in our basement?"

"I don't know... But I saw it in my mind. It could be something that gives us a clue to--" Homusubi was about to cut herself off in a habit of not telling them the existence of this clan. But then again, she remembered they already knew it just a week ago. She heaves a sigh, "To the clan that's trying to hunt me down."

"But isn't it dangerous?!" He whisper-yelled while holding her arm tightly. If the baby boy wished for one thing that'll come true, it is the eternal protection of his family. He didn't like it, knowing how Homusubi already got herself in countless fights with those villains. If she's going to be involved with them again, he will never let her go.

"It is but... hear me out. They've already hurt mom, Shoto, and me-" Her face shadowed, causing her fierce and blue eyes to shine brightly as her hands clenched into fists, "-I won't let those bastards hurt anyone precious to me anymore."

He felt like her aura alone stopped him from breathing. His legs trembled, his heart shook, he now knew that she's chosen her resolve. What can he do? 'I'm weak. I can never fight her with toe to toe, no matter what.'

"Everyone!" Enji's loud voice called from the living room, "I ordered take-out for lunch!!!"

The siblings looked at each other. Touya's heart did not want to let go and see his sister go to that path. There will always be consequences that are paid. He's afraid of what it could be...

"It's fine." She reassured with a soft smile, "If anything happens to you. I will never let them get away with it."

He held his head down while being led upstairs, 'I'm afraid. I'm afraid that I'll lose her... Because I wasn't able to keep my promise to protect each other.'
