Homusubi slammed her door and locked it. She inhaled deeply and sighed while lying down on the ground with her back leaned against the wall. There were thousands of thoughts that she could've said at that argument, but she couldn't. Deep inside, the little girl still had empathy for her father. But when he said those rude things to her, she couldn't help but feel emotional.

She hugs her knees and nuzzled her face in it while sniffling. In this chilly and dark room, it drowned the flame inside her into nothing but a freezing breeze.

*knock* *knock* *knock*

"H-Homusubi-nee-san...?"

Her ears perked up at the voice of Fuyumi behind her. She wipes her tears away and held her head up, "Yes, Fuyumi...?"

Her little sister behind that door wasn't alone as she exchanged looks with her brother, Touya.

"We just want to know if you're alright..." This time it was her little brother than spoke, "Do you... want to talk?"

"..."

"Nee-san?"

"I'm sorry..." Back to inside the room, Homusubi's eyes widen in realization, staring at the open window where the moon's light entered. Giving her the warmth she lost.

"I... need to go to sleep." She slowly stood up to approach the open window. Hesitant about her next decision as she grabbed onto the frame. Poking her head out to see that she's on the second floor, but there was a tree branch right outside.

Her little siblings sighed and nodded at each other, "Okay. G-Good night... then. We'll be in our shared room."

"Yeah. Why the heck did dad make so many rooms. We have our individual rooms and then a shared one!"

"Shh!"

Their voices started to disappear. And so did Homusubi.

She carefully climbed on the trunk without bringing too much attention. Considering that the room below was her fathers' office. The wind blew underneath her feet when she landed on the ground with a thud. She sprinting away, away from the closed window of her father's room, where she saw for a second that he's on a phone call.

'Tsk. Why do I feel like vomiting when I see him.' She groans in frustration, but the walls surrounded their land weren't far from where she is now. She snatched her jacket that was hanged out to dry and put in on, pulling up the hoodie before climbing on the fence without a sweat.

This sensation of breaking the rules made her feel bad... and good at the same time. Whose fault is it anyway?

Homusubi arrived on time near the gates of the vast park. The land was packed with folks, but they were minding their own business with the small contests and food stalls the park had to offer. She wore a smile before meeting Rumi who was lightly swaying her legs while sitting on a bench.

"Yo!"

The bunny looks up and grinned. She hops off of her bench and head locked the riceball, "I was getting worried why you two are late!"

"Hahahaha! Sorry about that. Wait, Tsuki is late too?"

Rumi sighs and flopped back down on the bench, followed by Homusubi, "Yep, can't help but wait for that guy! Anyway... I got a question for you."

"Oh, sure."

"Do... Do you like him?"

"Him?"

"Tsuki! Do you like Tsuki?"

"H-Huh? I mean... Yes, I do?" She cocked her head, "Despite him being a little rude sometimes it doesn't change the fact we're friends. Why? What's up?"

Rumi heaves a sigh before shaking her head.

"Hey, I know that look. You have something in your mind, do you? Come on, Ru-Ru-chan."

"I-I like Tsuki."

"Oh... Then that's great too!"

"No. Not as friends, Homusubi. I... love him."

"OHH?!?! The kind of love you told me when you want to hold their hands?!" The love-baby squealed.

It felt like the whole world became silent as she said this. With Rumi turning red from her neck up to her bunny ears.

"Souka! Gambare~! Gambare~!"

"Y-You support... me...?"

"Yeah! Why, is there something wrong with that?"

The white-haired girl glanced at her with a worried look, 'Yes, Homusubi. I like him... But he likes you.'

"Oh! Look who's here!" The little sun points at the gates.

Her heart skipped a beat when she turned around to see Tsuki, wearing black above the knee shorts and a sleeveless white shirt approaching them. He lightly waves his hand with no expression other than being annoyed that they actually waited for him.

Homusubi jumped from her seat and ran up to him, "Oi Tsuki guess what's up?!--Auergh!"ย

Rumi pulled her back, a few feet away from Tsuki who got confused and she whispers into her ears, "Geez you love-ignorant-baby, don't tell him! I want to be the one who tells it."

"Ahh! Okie. Okie. Got it."

They turned back to him with an awkward smile and Homusubi proceeds to smoothly lie, "We just talked about where we're going to go. For others, it's valentines day here in the park, but for us, it's a place we can find fun things to do! Let's go!" She hopped energetically on where she stood, itching to go and play the games.

Tsuki furrowed his eyebrows while staring at her, "You're a bit weird today..."

She flinched and stopped hopping so she can look up at Rumi who looked away.

"I... Uh..."

"So? Is there something you're hiding from us?" He glances at Rumi, "From me?"

"I sneaked out of the house! :D" The little ball of sunshine blurted out of the blue like it's the proudest things she's done.

"... Oh... That's... Really... Really bad." Rumi hissed as an expression of how bad it was. She sneaked away under the roof of a powerful hero after all.

"Who cares? This is more fun and my father can't stop me from that." She laughs in a villain way before taking both of their wrists, "Come on! We won't do anything just standing here!"

Lightening up the mood was the sun's speciality. Rumi giggled in excitement while catching up with her who went on to a shooting game. Tsuki sighed with a small blush across his cheeks, 'I'm the only one who's sane here.'

By playing together connects people more and more. Not just playing, but other things too that two or more people can do together: Watching TV, cooking, cleaning, doing the dishes, eating, and more. No matter how small or big the activity is, it can bring them together.

Homusubi got back home safe and sound, and it seemed that no one dared to unlock the door. She sighs of relief before leaping to land on her bed with a soft smile. A different kind of fire sparks in her, it was the fire that brought her happiness again, called rebellion. She wouldn't hesitate to break the house rules over and over again.

Why?

She's Homusubi Todoroki after all.

Touya plays with his fire by the forest near their house. The afternoon sunlight seeping through the trees mixed with the chirps of the singing birds created the warm scenery that can make anyone loosened up.

The little boy sighed and blows away his small fire the size of a ping pong ball, '... I... don't have the potential.'

His hand limped down on the ground with a sigh. 'Onee-san is pretty amazing. We're only one year apart but she's a hundred times stronger than me. But... I still haven't seen her most powerful form.' He rests his head on the tree he leaned his back on, 'I can imagine just a whole wave of tsunami made out of her terrific fire.'

His body flinched when he picked up the sounds of crunching leaves not far from where is. Glancing up, the sunshine temporarily blinds his sight, making him see an image of his dear...

"... Mom?"
