In compensation for Homusubi's effective treatment last night, Enji gets up from bed, takes a shower, and tries to cook breakfast for the first time. Even though he was still a bit drowsy and that he doesn't know how to cook, he tries to do so just for Homusubi before she wakes up.

"Please sir, you don't have to cook!" The nannies pleaded in worry, trying to convince him who examined the different kitchen utensils. Yet Enji remained to ignore them as if they were just nothing but thin air. In truth, they were just worried he'd burn the entire house down without using HIS fire quirk.

He cautiously placed the frying pan down as the nannies stood by idly, ready to take action if he did anything wrong. He leans down as he turns on the stove in high heat.

"Dada?"

Homusubi, still in her pyjama's with bed hair stood by the entranceway of the kitchen, and holding a Stuffed toy Hero Endeavor version.

"Uh... W-Well..." He stutters and cleared his throat, "Your favourite dish." He said with such confidence as if he really can cook. The little girl quickly noticed a few things like unorganized utensils, the high heat on the frying pan that results in dark marks, and how he's using a fork instead of a stirring pan.

She gulped nervously and smiles, "I just want to eat sunny side up, dada."

It surprised Enji, usually, she's quite picky with her food. Well, maybe she just wants to eat sunny side up, so he nods at her request and proceeds to cook it. With a fork.

Despite burning it up in the sides and uncooked in the middle --that'd make anyone question how is that possible-- Homusubi only smiled through her nervous feeling and took a bite of it. Enji was just as nervous as her, give this man a chance, he gave his best.

"It's... Delicious." She hesitated to comment while sitting by the counter. Enji sat on a barstool beside her too.

"I'm so sorry." He saw through the lie and starts to sulk.

The little girl flustered and waved her hands up, "No-No don't say sorry dada!" She grins kindly, "Even if the food tastes like burnt grass. It's not your fault you don't know how to cook, you don't have to apologize about it..."

She reaches out to grab his hand and giggled brightly, "I'll learn how to cook for you, then you don't have to cook for me. Because I love you!"

His eyes sparkled with joy and couldn't help but feel proud, "I'd love that."
