"I think we should have Homusubi homeschooled. Don't you think so, Rei?" Enji asked while making a cup of coffee for both of them.

Rei hums as she grew worried, slowly stitching up a hole in a shirt, "What if it'll cut her off from socializing with people?"

Enji flinched and heaved a sigh. He makes his way to set down the drink on the coffee table in front of Rei. "I agree, but both of us know her better than anyone else, she really adores her little siblings and her mom."

"Especially her dad." Rei emphasized with a soft smile.

He couldn't help but blush a little, "I... I'm not the ideal person to be looked up to by children."

"I disagree." She smiles softly before changing the topic, "Well, one of the nannies are major in education. She'll be able to teach Homusubi anything she needs to learn."

He thought about it for a few seconds and nodded, "... What's for dinner?"

"Your favourite."

"Rock, paper, scissors shoot!"

Fuyumi cheers in victory while picking up chalk to draw on a board. Both she and her sister were playing rock, paper, scissors mixed up with tic tac toe.

Homusubi chuckled like a villain as she watched her little sister happily taking the victory, "It's too early to celebrate! WE'RE NOT DONE YET! MUAHAHAHAHA!"

Touya laid on his stomach beside them while rocking his legs in the air back and forth. Minding his own business, he drew an art of him and his family.

His smile didn't last long as a flash of orange light glistened against his eyes. He looked up, and fiery fire spreads across his arm. His heart dropped, he screams at the top of his lungs while tumbling back on his butt. He waves his burning hand, trying to distinguish it.

Both his female siblings looked in his direction. Their eyes widening in shock at the sight of the first appearance of Touya's quirk.

"I-IT HURTS!" He cries out.

"Touya!" Homusubi got up in a heartbeat and attempted to grab his burning left hand. But he pushes her away with the other.

"DON'T! You'll get hurt-- OWW!!" He bent over while on his knees in pain. Groaning and yelling as he tries not to set his burning hand on the floor.

But he didn't hesitate to grab his hand tightly. Touya looked up at her with a terrified look but, he got taken aback when she had stared deeply into his burning hand. His eyes brimmed with tears as he could feel the painful feeling of fire on his skin. The fire alarm sets off, alarming the whole house.

Everything slowed down as she takes in a deep breath, and exhaled it all out. All of the fire moved from Touya's hand, into the air, and she bursts it into nothing but wind.

A nanny crashes in with a fire extinguisher.

After the incident, Rei passively scolds, "There are five of you. Two of you were mowing the lawn... BUT one fell asleep while taking care of Natsuo and the other two were having a chat at the back yard."

They had their heads down in guilt with their shoulders tensed up as Rei gives them a lesson about their irresponsibility.

Enji did the part to calm Touya down, who was fortunately unharmed physically and proceeded to ask the girls what happened. He was surprised to know that Homusubi was able to control other quirk users' fire. In which, usually, they can only control theirs.

Later that night, Enji takes her to the back yard, makes a ball of fire, and then have her catch it. She successfully caught it with a giggle, having the glowing fireball hover over her palms with ease.

"Are we gonna play a ball of catch dada?!"

"Yes. Just give me a moment to prepare, musubi."

Enji's little experiment says it all. 'Maybe for Homusubi, controlling fire is easier than making it. It's the fruit of labour from trying to control that rope of fire to burst it, so now it's not the control she lacks but her capacity!'

In just those few seconds of silence, as his daughters catch the fireball in the air, he makes a plan in his mind and scratches out the homeschooling part.

After her breakfast, Enji had dug out a hole in the back yard, a hole big enough for Homusubi to fit in.

But rest assured, the hole represents the current capacity that she can hold for a specific time.

Enji told her to fill the hole up with her fire for as long as she can. That was the new training plan for her.

Homusubi holds up both of her hands and shoots out a fire to the hole consistently. She held that for a good 5 minutes before starting to feel like overheating, but she didn't give up just yet and pushed herself to her limits. That's who Homusubi is. The girl who can make sacrifices without any hesitation.

In the next 5 minutes, she passed out. Enji catches her just in time before she collides with the ground and lifted her gently. Checking her temperature, he concludes she's exhausted all her energy, "... Geez, who told you to give it your all anyway?... Stop making me worried."

He proceeds to have her rest in a cold room, check her temperature once more just in case, and have others prepare for her snack. Then the man comes back outside and digs the hole up times bigger.

Time skip to the next day again, he had her try to fill up the larger crater on the ground.

"I don't think I can do it dada..." She nervously said while looking over the pool-sized hole.

"Give it a try. It doesn't matter if you can't do it the first time, just keep on trying because I know you will finish it." With the pep talk he gave to her, she felt a bit more confident about this overwhelming test.

"A-Alright..."

While standing on the edge of the pool, Homusubi felt like she was being swallowed by this large pit of the hole. For the first time, she felt so little by such a large goal, but she remained to have a strong mindset of 'do it until you're done.'

In the end, she barely filled it. Sweat trickling down her face while panting heavily. She tries to fight for her consciousness as she holds up both of her hands again, pushing herself to break the limits. Her limbs started to shake, or maybe it was just her vision.

"Enough." Enji spoke in a commanding tone.

"But it's nah...-not done yet...!" She felt like she has experienced the documentary of wars she watched first hand.

He sighs, "I said it's enough for the day--"

The next second, her eyelids close shut and she passed out. Enji grabbed her before she falls into the hole. He heaves another sigh while lifting his daughter in a bridal style. He sighs, "You're too stubborn."

The training went on for minutes that turned to hours, hours that turned to days, days that turned to weeks, weeks that turned to months. And months that turned to a year until she could finally fill up the hole.

But her labour didn't go to waste, she can now fully burn up the pool-sized hole for 2 HOURS straight with a few breaks, and 1 hour without.

Enji couldn't help but grin proudly as he stood by the doorway in all his glory.

'Homusubi is truly a one in a million quirk user. With this, she'll have a greater potential to surpass everyone!'

Touya peeked over the frame door, watching in admiration for his sister's amazing feat.

The poor boy became insecure of himself as he watched Homusubi grow stronger day by day. Imagining like both of them pushed their boulders, but her progress was way ahead of him. She only left with a trail beside him that made him lose the confidence he had left.

It made him feel... left out.

He remembers a memory on his first day of school, he got teased by his classmates for not activating his quirk yet at the age of 6. Even after Homusubi left the school to focus on her training, her name continues to remain on the campus and never loses its position. Touya's classmates always say the same thing over and over again: that he's so different from his sister who's so big and strong... That he too... starts to compares himself to her.

He's born with a curse of being weak, and she's born with a blessing to her quirk.

He's grown frail, and she's grown healthy.

He just activated his quirk last year, and she activated hers many years ago.

He's dependent, and she's dependable.

He grips on the frame door tighter in envy, then Fuyumi comes up to him from behind.

"Brother..." She quietly spoke, "I have something to say to you."

He got a little spooked at first and heaved a relieved sigh when it was just his little sister, "Alright."

They made their way to their room, sitting on the floor opposite each other. She takes in a deep breath and said, "I'm jealous of big sister Homusubi."

Touya was caught off guard from her sudden confession.

She continues, "She's kind to others... I never saw her get mad before. A few days ago... I-I heard the nannies gossip about me being short-tempered and... annoying."

Fuyumi's sensitive heart clenched at that bitter memory, "It hurts... They hurt my feelings, Touya, my heart. T-That's why I want to fix it. I want to change into someone better. I don't want to be better than big sister because I never can be, but I will be better than the me right now." Her gaze fell on the ground for a few seconds, then glanced up at him with determination, "So whatever is causing you trouble... Touya-nii... I'm here to help you."

Touya's eyes opened for the first time. 'It's true. I need to be better than myself. Myself only and no one else.'

He couldn't help but giggle and smiled, "You're already helping me right now, Fuyumi... Thank you." He snatches her hand while standing up, "Now let's go and cheer for our big sis!"

Fuyumi grew confused about why he said thank you for helping him as both of them ran out of the room. What did she do exactly? But hey, at least she helped him out!

If so drop your questions here.

I'll put my answers in next week's chapter so ask as many as you can! Though I won't answer some questions that --I think-- will lead to spoiling the future events.
