We went are separate ways and went about the day like any other.

I was lunch time and for the first time Mariah wasn't there I just sat there with my other friends and talked to them as I waited for Mariah.

She never ended up showing up to lunch which was weird cause we walked to school together so she had to be at school but I just shrugged it off.

I decided that I would text her to see where she was...

School ended and there was still no answer from her I was started to get irritated cause it was my birthday and she was no where to be found.

Since I couldn't find Mariah I just decided to go home but when I got home there was and ambulance and police surrounding my house.

I ran into the house to see what was happening as people tried to stop but I wasn't listening and when I walked in there was a pool of blood on the ground and a bullet hole in the middle of her head.

I ran to her not caring about the blood I sat her in my lap.

"Ma come on wake up"I said while shaking her to get up.

I looked at her my eyes started to get blurry.she looked skinnier and pale and her hair was a bit thinner.

That was the first time that I saw or heard from my mom in a month.

You might be wondering where she was at but to be honest I didn't even know myself she just up and left

I looked up a little to see somethin shiny I wipe my eyes and squint.

I look a little closer There was something on the floor under the couch I carefully set my mom down and I went and grabbed what ever it was that was on the ground.

I looked at it and sat there for a second it was Mariah's necklace.

I felt someone tap my shoulder"you aren't supposed to be here"the officer said.

The officer started say other stuff to me but I just tuned him out.

I got up and grabbed my moms keys that were on the floor.I got up and walked to her car opening the car door I sat in the car for a minute before I started driving.....

*End of flashback*

"But that don't mean she was the one that did it this just don't add up"king said.

"What you mean It don't make sense this isn't rocket science it just common fucking sense use to damn brain,she gave me and her matching chains on the day my mom died and her's ended up at my house meaning she more then likely was there when my mom died but when I came home she was no where to be found"I said starting to get aggravated.

"I mean I guess but why now after all this time you wanna do this now why?"king asked.

I shrugged my shoulder.

"I mean what you want me to do?"he asked....

Mariah's POV

School has been the same as it was before I left but now as I walked down the halls everybody looked at me whispering things in people's ears,but I honestly don't care cause at the end of the day people are gonna believe what they want to believe and I'm not gonna go around justifying what I do and don't do to some ignorant irrelevant ass people.

I was in English class listening to my teacher explain to me everything that I missed and giving me all types of different worksheets and stuff that I had to make up.

School finally ended and now I was walking home.

I didn't really want to go to Dey's because I honestly didn't know my point of being there in the first place.

I haven't been to my house in almost 2 weeks so I decided to grab some of the stuff I left there.

I walked to the door and suprisingly it was open I quietly close the door and I turned around and it seemed like everything's stopped.

I looked down to see my mom sitting there in a pool of blood her eyes were wide open.

My eyes started burn from tears threatening to come out.

After all she did and put me through that was my mom not the woman that was standing infront of me but the woman that once used to care about me.

My mom was not always like this she cared for me she protected me at all times but when Dey's mom died that all changed.

I walked closer to her she had a bullet hole right in the middle of her head.I just looked at her as tears streamed down my face.I looked at her as all the memories came back to me.

Then I thought about Dey's mom I tried to forget about them but that day just always just seemed to come back to me.

I was cut out of my thoughts when I heard a deep voice mumble something in another room.

My heart started to speed up as I heard foot steps getting closer and closer.

I hurry and got up quietly trying to leave but I knew I wasn't going to make it without them catching me so I hid behind the couch.

I looked through the gap under the couch seeing 2 set of feet surrounded by her.

"Start cutting her body up"I heard a deep voice say.

Then the guy got down with a knife in his hand and started cutting her I saw as he cut her throat and I watched as the blood gushed out of her neck.

I covered my mouth trying not to throw up gagging a little.Tears ran dow my face as I looked at the wall trying not to look at them as they cut my mom up.

After a while they finished and my eyes widened once I seen one of the men started pouring gasoline on everything.

I have to get out of her I thought.I started smelling something burn and then.I saw a man drop a piece of paper that was lit on fire.I saw as the fire light up the room.

I can't lie it was kinda satisfying watching as everything burned down.'it not gone be satisfying when you burn to death get it tf together Mariah' the voice in my head told me causing me to quickly snap out of my thoughts

The men walked outside,after a few second of waiting I got up peaking through the window but they were still there it was only one person in the car but I want really sure where the other one was.I'm guessing he stayed to make sure that the house was fully burned down.The men had mask on so I couldn't see there face.

I started to cough as I felt my lungs closing up I crawled to the back door so they wouldn't see me,but when I opened it I saw a body towering over me I looked over and seen something in his hand seeing it was a knife.

"Did you really think we couldn't hear you"He chuckled coldly making my body tense up.

I looked up at him still coughing a little bit his eyes were cold and emotionless.

He grabbed me by my arm pulling me to the car but I was to weak to fight back.He walked to the car that was in the front of the house opening the door

"What do you want to do with her boss?"the person that was holding onto me asked.

His grip on my arm got tighter making me wince in pain.

He looked at me and for an split second his eyes glistened but soon got covered up returning back black "put her in the back I'll handle her you just make sure there isn't any evidence and make sure nobody sees you"he said and the guy did as said.....
