Carly and Paxton were on their way to Trent's house, like they've always done every weekend. The only difference is that Paxton picked up the girl. He also brought her her go to Starbucks drink. An iced peach green tea lemonade which was surprisingly in stock since it's been sold out everywhere. 

Carly Tan was happy. For once in her life, she felt like a weight had been lifted off her shoulders for telling Paxton how she felt. She's been keeping her feelings to herself for the past few years now and to finally have the boy know how she truly feels, made her happy. Nothing can ruin it.

It didn't take long for them to arrive at Trent's house. The boy parked the car, got out, and before Carly could open her door, Paxton did it for her.

Carly smiled at the boy, giving him a peck on the cheek. "Always the gentleman."

"Only to you."

The couple walked hand in hand into the house where everyone was already here. Trent and Marcus were yelling at each other with the video game they were playing while Lily and Eddie were on the love couch, laughing at something on Lily's phone.

"Hey party people." Carly said, causing all of them to look up.

"Little C and Paxton? Wait, am I missing something?" Trent asked, confused to see his two friends holding hands.

"I think we all are bro." Marcus said.

"You two can be such idiots sometimes." Lily said.

"Hot idiots." Trent corrected the girl.

"Hell yeah." Marcus said, doing a handshake with Trent.

"But no seriously is this for real?" Trent asked as Carly nodded. "Since when? I thought you like Caswell?"

Carly sighed. These two could be so slow sometimes. "Long story short we found out we liked each other and decided to give it a shot. Hence the hand holding. Make sense now Trent?"

Trent narrowed his eyes, getting up from his spot on the couch walking to them. He stared down Paxton, which made the boy uncomfortable because his friend was acting way out of character.

"Cool. Just know if you hurt little C, I'm coming for you." Trent threatened.

"Me too." Eddie added.

"Me three." Lily said.

"I'm on your side Pax." Marcus said.

Paxton nodded. "That won't happen, I promise." He said giving the girl a side hug.

"Great now that's out of the way I've got a shit ton of Uncrustables."
