It was your typical Saturday. The crew was at Trent's house. By the crew that meant Carly, Lily, Eddie, Paxton, and Marcus. Carly was showing Lily the pair of boots she wanted.

"Those are cute." Lily said.

"Right? But I don't know. White boots? I'm not that bold."

Lily chuckled. "If you don't wear them, I will."

Carly shook her head. "I'll think about it."

"Ok but what about these? You know these converse would give me a bit of a platform so I won't look short when I walk next to you."

"We're literally the same height."

"You right."

"The blue ones are cute but the white ones would go with more out---fits." Carly stopped talking when she saw the text in the group chat. She looked at Lily who looked just as shocked as she did.

Paxton HY had sex with Devi Vishwakumar.

"Wow. Dude you had sex with Devi Vishwakumar?" Trent asked the boy.

"What?" Paxton said, shocked.

"People are saying you had sex with Devi Vishwakumar." Eddie added.

"Well did you dude? That's kinda expanding your range dude." Marcus said.

Paxton didn't know what to say because that never happened and even if he was close to doing it, he didn't want Carly to find out. And now that she has this idea in her head, he was in deep shit.

"Did you?" Carly suddenly said. She couldn't handle this silence anymore. She needed to know if this was true.

"Carls I---."

"I gotta go." Carly got up and walked out the door, Paxton following behind her.

""Carls. It didn't happen." Paxton said.

"Paxton I really don't care."

"Yes you do. She and I didn't do it. We were close to which I should have told you the day after it happened but... I'm sorry."

"Like I said before, we're not dating Paxton. You're allowed to date whoever you want to date, you're allowed to have sex with whoever you want to have sex with. At least now I know your feelings for me."

"Carls that's not it."

"I'll see you on Monday." Carly said, getting into her car and driving off.

Paxton stood there, feeling like absolute shit. He should have told her sooner, but he was scared. Scared that she was gonna do exactly that.
