Carly was making her way to the bench the Hot Pocket boys always hung out. She was very confused about what happened between her and EJ. This was the first time he's ever NOT been supportive of her relationship with Paxton. She decided to let it go because maybe the boy was having an off day or something.

"Hey." Carly smiled at the boy when she saw him.

"Hey babe." Paxton kisses the girl's cheek and swings his arm around her shoulder.

"Have you seen Lily and Eddie today? They haven't been responding to my text."

Paxton shrugged. "Don't know. Maybe they're busy hooking up in the janitor's room."

"Gross."

"You wish that was you and Pax little C." Trent says.

"Shut up Trent." Carly said.

"Yeah dude." Paxton said, agreeing with his girlfriend.

"Or what?"

"Or this." Paxton leaves the girl's side to chase Trent around like a pair of 3rd graders.

What the fuck.

Why is it whenever Paxton and her hang out, his friends are always here. They never know when to leave them alone. Carly can't even remember the time when it's just been the two of them hanging out.

Like when they went to Sushi Kato the other day, Trent and Marcus came. Or when he invited her over to his house, Trent and Marcus were there. She didn't realize dating Paxton meant him plus his 2 other girlfriends. If they were friends, sure it's totally fine, but they're dating now, the least their friends could do is give them some privacy.

Carly sighed and saw EJ and his friends. She gave them a small wave and smile. Most of them smiled and waved back, EJ on the other hand gave her a simple nod and went back to talking about whatever he was talking about.

She missed her best friend and cousin. With them here she at least had someone to talk to when Paxton was busy with Trent and and Marcus. Now, she's just sitting here, looking through her phone, waiting for Paxton to hurry it up chasing Trent.Β
