"Are you out of your fucking mind? Why did you shouted on her like that?" yash yelled at me as soon as I came outside from arohi's cabin.

I didn't replied to him anything and directly went outside ignoring the people's gaze on me while yash was following behind me.

I opened the car door and sat inside it, feeling guilty now for shouting on arohi. I didn't meant to shout on her like that but in anger I said fee things which I shouldn't.

I saw tears in her eyes when I said that she was showing off being a good doctor which I didn't meant at all because she is a good person and doctor but it just came out in anger.

Seeing tears in her eyes pricked my heart too but till the time I realised my words had already done the damage.

I will apologise to her when we will be returning to our hotel as at that time she will not get any excuse to ignore me.

Yes!! That will be great!!

"REYANSH! COME BACK TO THE FUCKING REALITY" yash shouted and that's when I came back from my thoughts and looked at him. 

"What happened?" I asked him and started the car as arohi is safe now so we should reach office fast for further interrogation from Kapil's man.

I don't even know his name yet!!

"What happened? Were you out of your mind when you started shouting on arohi without letting her speak anything?" yash yelled and I tightened my hold on the stearing feeling remorse.

"She was just doing her work by helping that girl though she did wrong by going alone there but she is not habitual to all these just like we are. You could have handled it with patience but you just started shouting on her as soon as you saw her" yash said.

One second!! Is he scolding me right now for arohi, with whom he haven't talked much other than hello and how are you?

"Are you siding with her and if yes then why?" I asked him while lightly raising my eyebrows and he nodded making me look at him in uttwr confusion.

"Firstly, Yeah I am siding with her because you were wrong this time for shouting on her like that. Secondly there is nothing wrong in taking my bhabhi's side because I know that you are very much whipped for her and will patch up soon with her as I have trust on your handsome face" yash said with a wink making me smile.

Now I have stopped correcting him whenever he refers arohi as bhabhi because he is bit slow witted so he is practicing for future you know. 😉

Shitt!! What am I thinking? Arohi really messed up my head as I was never this inattentive as I am being nowadays but whatever it is I like it!!

"Now stop smiling like a creep by hearing bhabhi from me because if you will keep on messing things like that, it will be true only in one nation and that is your imagination" yash said and laughed on his own joke making me scoff.

"Shut up!" I said being annoyed and drove faster towards office while yash kept on lecturing me and then told me some ways to apologise to arohi for my earlier shouting on her.

"Let's go" yash said in all serious tone as we reached office. I parked the car fast in parking lot and we both entered inside the office but it was looking quite unusual from daily as we didn't saw anyone outside.

"Something is wrong!" I said and yash and I both took out our guns from our waistband and moved carefully inside the office but we both quickly kept our guns in pocket and stood in salute position as soon as we saw our sir standing there with everyone.

"SIR!" We said a bit loudly and stood straight in salute position. Everyone is present here for some meeting I guess so that's why we didn't saw anybody outside.

I was worried thinking something happened here while we were out.

"Is she safe?" Pranav Sir asked while looking at me with worried expression and I didn't understood that about whom is he asking. He asked both of us to sit where everyone was sitting so yash and I both took our seats.

Is he talking about arohi but he doesn't know her?

"Who?" I asked him looking confused and yash scooted close to me asking me about whom is he asking and I glared at him which made him sit back properly to his chair.

"Arohi Sharma! Your partner! Is she safe?" Sir asked me and I nodded my head saying yes. He sighed in relief and then looked at all of us taking out some file from the drawer.

"I know her parents and when I got to know that she might be in danger I was worried for her but I am happy that she is assigned with you because I know you will keep her safe" pranav sir said when he saw me still looking at him with confused eyes as why was he asking about arohi?

I am also happy that she is assigned with me!!

I smiled hearing him but that was quickly wiped off from my face when I saw the papers which were in front of me in the file which sir took out from the drawer.

KAPIL'S MAN HAD GOT BAILED!!

"WHAT?" Yash and I both shouted reading it. After so many crimes how can he be bailed that too within 2 hours when we were out.

"That was all a trap!! The girl asking arohi for a help, she taking arohi away from hospital so that you both can't find her, he referring arohi to you and mentioning about her safety, you both going to check her in the village.

That was all trap to make both of you go away from here and I am sure that if you both wouldn't have gone there he might have something else planned which might have put arohi in danger" sir said and we both nodded my head.

Shitt!! That was really planned thing as he had done everything on time which means that someone among us is involved with him who is telling him about our schedules and all.

"But how did he got bailed sir and why didn't anyone stopped them?" one of our colleague asked and I also looked at sir because we needed to know everything so that we can take further action.

"We have got orders from higher officials to give him bail and as reyansh and yash were not here so someone lower to them allowed him to be bailed making it easier for them which means kapil has some connections with higher officials but we can't do anything about it so we have to take actions which are in our hand" Sir said and we all replied him saying yes in unison.

That was all that bastard's plan to distract us so that he can be freed from here easily!!

"You all can go back to your work except my officers I mean who came from Delhi as I need to have separate meeting with you all" Sir said and everyone went outside the room except me, yash, vinay and jatin.

Sir started the meeting telling us about our further plans as from tomorrow the tasks which we had to do in partners will be over so we can focus completely on finding kapil and parth, the man who got bailed today.

He gave four of us some files to work on so I asked one of our colleague whose partner was in the same hospital in which arohi was assigned to pick her up too.

When she will get to know it she may think that I am deliberately ignoring because of our earlier argument but after reaching hotel I will clear everything to her.

I sighed and then started working on files with yash, who was looking at all the files very keenly. Looking at him no one can say that he can be playful like hell sometimes and in an instant he can change his emotions which can be really scary to other people.

"If you are done gawking at me then please help me in this" yash said with a smirk and I scoffed looking at him.

"I wasn't staring you! I was just thinking about something and unintentionally my eyes went towards you" I said and he patted my shoulders with a proud expression on his face.

"Don't worry it happens with everyone! No one can pass their eyes away immediately after looking at my handsome face and to be honest I know you were praising me internally so don't shy about it because I know you love me a lot" yash said and I chuckled listening him as he praising himself really well.

"Show me that file" I said and he gave me the file which I was asking for. We both did work while vinay and jatin were also doing with the help of each other. When we were done it was almost 10 pm.

I looked at my phone when I got a notification and it was from some unknown number so I opened it and immediately guessed the sender.

Unknown!!

I killed two birds with a stone! ☠️☠️

Firstly, I got freed because you really bought all things that I said and secondly, I got to know that you care about her!!

I clenched my fists reading the text and showed yash the same. He too looked shocked reading it and we both decided to go to hotel now so that we can discuss about this briefly.

"Are you both done?" Yash asked them and they both nodded their head while stretching their arms. We all went to our respective cars and drove off towards the hotel while I was feeling a little bit nervous thinking about arohi.

Will she talk to me or will ignore me?

What if she doesn't forgive me for shouting on her thoigh my intention was good but I shouldn't have shouted on her like that!!

Parth is not in our custody now and I am sure he will try to plan something so I have to be careful and warn arohi too in chance he tries to do something.

I just hope these 20 more days are completed fast so that arohi can reach her home safely.

I was thinking all this and within no time I reached the hotel we were staying in. Yash also reached there with me from his car and we both entered inside the hotel and had our dinner quickly as I needed to talk to arohi soon.

"Are you going to meet arohi?" yash asked me and I nodded my head. He patted my back and then went to our room while I knocked on arohi's room which was opened by trisha.

"Reyansh?" trisha said looking at me and I asked her about arohi to which she stepped aside from the door and I saw arohi laying on the bed while covering herself ilwith the duvet.

"Is she sleeping?" I asked her and she shook her head.

"No! She is not and I think you both need to talk to each other so I am going outside" trisha said and I thanked her. We were talking very slowly and as the bed was far away from the door so arohi might haven't heard us too.

Trisha went outside and I closed the door slowly. I looked at arohi who was fully covered with the duvet ans with a sigh went towards her side of bed so that I can look at her.

I didn't said anything and touched the duvet to remove it but she tightened her hold on it. Does she know that I am here?

"Trisha please go. I want to sleep" arohi said and her voice was hoarse which made me feel more guilt as I am sure that she must be crying because of me only.

"Tris......Reyansh?" I was going to speak but before that arohi removed the duvet from her face and was going to say trisha but when she looked at me she seemed a bit shocked.

I looked at her face and her cheeks were red with tears stains on it. Her eyes were puffy telling me that she cried a lot so without thinking anything I did what I wanted to do whole day and that is I hugged her tightly while wrapping my arms around her.
