But you have let me down

Your POV:

I've reached the kindergarten a bit late. Because of traffic or you could say an accident I'm 30 minutes late to pick my babies up from their school. As soon as I reached school I barely can see any children or you could say no one.

"Oh my God, I'm so late!! I'm Soo late." I panic and rush inside the kindergarten. Thankfully I saw the homeroom teacher in the hallway, coming out from the classroom and walking back to her office. "Sensei!!!" I called her out. (Sensei means teacher in Japanese.)

She turns around and smiles. She was holding some books and papers in her hands. "Oh! Ms. Yamazaki. TaeSoo and TaeHee's mommy." She stops on her spot as I walk fast towards her. "Sensei i-I'm so sorry I'm late. There was an accident suddenly happened on the road when I was coming and because of that I'm so late." She gasped, "oh my Lord!! Are you okay ma'am?" She asks placing her hands on my shoulder. I gulp and said, "I'm fine. It didn't happen to me. And it was a small accident between an old woman and a bus driver." She sighed softly and smiling she said, "oh thank goodness." I nod. "Sensei where are my twins. I'm sorry I'm late but can you tell me where are they or could please call them out." I said now calming down a little.

Sensei furrows her eyebrows together. "What do you mean where are your twins? Didn't their father just picked them up?" I stumble on my feet but sensei holds my arms. "Fa-father? Their-their father?" She nods. "yes 20 minutes ago their father came and told me that you might be late so he came to pick them up." "Sensei how could you just let a total stranger take my babies. Did you ever saw him coming to this school and pick them up? You already know I've never mentioned about their father....oh God!! How does that stranger look like?"

She started to look tensed up as she replies to me in a nervous tone. "Ma'am I'm sorry but the way your twins just run to him Calling him out as their father I really thought his their father as well. And the three of them look exactly the same to me. At first, I didn't wanted to hand them to him but your babies were saying that he is their father so I had no choice, it was already so late." I just stare at her in disbelief. It can't be...him?

"Tell me hurry up how does the man look like? Is he tall? 5.11? Does he have dark black hair and are they long? Does he have bangs? His eyes are big? Did he wear all black? Is his skin is quite tanned? Was he wearing a Gucci black coat? Was his voice deep? Tell me?" I asked as much question for her to recall his appearance and tell me so that I could at least be relieved that it was him who picked them up but no other stranger.

Sensei tries to recall and immediately nods her head. "Yes!! Yes, that man looks exactly how you described. He looks very handsome and beautiful. His name...his name was a Korean name and I've heard of him before too." My eyes widen. "Was it..was it Kim TaeHyung?" She looks at me even wider eyes. "Yes. Yes, it was Kim TaeHyung. That's what he said."

I look down and felt a bit relieved that they're in a safe hand. But then I realized actually they're in the devil's hand and I've to run there asap to get them outta from his cage. But before I turn my heels and run I look up at the teacher who still has a worry expression on her face. "Sensei please next don't do such a thing. It's good that I know that man and they're in a safe hand. If it was someone else can you imagine what could have happened? You should have at least called me or my brother before handing them to that man." The teacher looks down on her feet ashamed. "I'm sorry Ms. Yamazaki I was careless. It won't happen again. I'm really sorry from next time I'll be more careful and won't do such careless things again." I nod hearing her words. "Yes please be more careful."

She nods her head and I turn my heels when suddenly she calls for me again. "Oh! Ms. Yamazaki?" I turn around and face her. "I'm so sorry I was about to forget it. That guy handed me this paper and told me if you came here I should hand you this. There's a number written in the paper. Maybe his phone number." I immediately snatched the paper from her hand and open it. Indeed it's a number but there wasn't any name or anything else written.

I glance at the teacher aging and nodding my head I said, "thank you. I'll be going then. Next time please be careful." She nods and I run out from the kindergarten and move towards my care. I type the number on my phone and immediately press the call button.

Two rings and the phone is picked up. "I thought you won't be so late to call me, but I was wrong you are 37 minutes late my love." I grip on my phone hardly even on the small paper on my other hand. Hearing his voice makes me want to punch him but he's lucky that he's on the other side of the phone call.

"Where are my babies? Where did you take them?" I ask gritting on my teeth hardly. I just can't believe God is playing such a game with me. Those last 7 years were going so well until he came and now I'm running all around and all this shit is happening. My life becoming so hopeless day by day.

"Daddy...the ice cream is so sweet." I hear a baby voice across from the other side of the phone. "TaeHee??" I whisper. "Come to the restaurant near the kindergarten. It's only 20 minutes from there by car. You'll my man standing outside the restaurant. He'll lead you inside." And before I could ask him more he hung up on me. "He-hello?? Hello?" I tried to call him again but I won't pick up. "Shit!!" I throw the paper on my hand on the road, "shit!!" I curse under my breath.

"He wants to play right? Fine, I'll play along with him. Let me see what he got!!!" Saying that to myself I climb inside my car. Before I start my car my phone vibrates. I unlock it and saw a message from him. It was the address of the restaurant. I know this restaurant and this is where I planned on taking my babies today. God, what else do you plan to make my day any worse?

It really took my 20 minutes, actually less than that because I am too desperate to take my babies away from that man's arms. "I climb out of the car and lock it. I run towards to restaurant when a man taller than me blocks my way. He looks like a bodyguard to me, Because his outfit is telling me that. "Ma'am are you Yua Yamazaki?" I nod. "Please let me lead you inside. Boss has been waiting for you." I wince hearing his last sentence.

'he has been waiting for me? What a joke!!'

It is a fancy Japanese restaurant and kind of a five star one. I once came to this restaurant with Kento and my aunt when I was 8 months pregnant with my twins but then I never got the chance to come here again. I was too busy to take them out and spend some time outside.

"The last seat near the window. This far I can lead you. Boss is waiting there for you with Young Misses." I bow and left me standing in the middle of the restaurant. I scan the place and a hand slowly waves at me from the right side, from where I'm standing. "Mommy!!" I hear a baby voice shouting in my direction. TaeSoo jumps off from her seat and runs towards me. I take slow steps and as soon as she is near me I bent down and stand on my knees. I throw my bag on the floor and spread my arms in the air. TaeSoo jump in my arms as I hug her tightly.

My one hand is on her back and another is on the back of her head. "Baby!! Baby are you okay?" She nods leaning on my chest. "mommy look daddy is here. Let's go." I pull her away from me and TaeHee also runs toward me. "Mommy you are late. Look daddy and me and TaeSoo have been waiting for you. Let's gooo!" Before they could pull me with them in his direction I pull them and grip on their small arms.

"We are going back home. We can't eat lunch with him now. Granny is home alone let's go." Saying that I pick my purse from the floor and stand up. "But-but mommy daddy is going to be alone. He misses us, mommy." I can't believe he just lied to my babies. How much low can he go? Oh my goodness I have to sneak away from here asap. I was about to bent a little to pick TaeSoo on my arms when a hand grabs my hand and stops me from doing it.

I look up and meet a dark gaze on me, staring at me hard. "Daddy!!" TaeSoo shouts as both of them hugs his knees. For a few moments, he was staring at me in a burning gaze and then he looks down and smiles at the twins. "Why don't you guys go back to your seat and finish the rest ice cream it's going to meltdown anytime soon." Both of them looks at each other and smiling runs back to their seat.

"TaeSoo...TaeHee come back." I said trying to jerk off from his grip but he was gripping on my hands way too hard.

I look down at our hands and then again at him. "What are you trying to do? Let go of me. Let's us go taehyung." I said as low as I could keep my voice. Idk but I'm about to burst into anger in no time. "Stop wasting your time. They look happy here, with me, with us. Why are you trying to ruin it?" I laugh. "With us? You mean by you and me, us?" I question him.

He doesn't says anything but pulls me close to him and says in a whisper, "you have become so bold Y/n. You are making me scared of you now." He says raising his hands up and remove some hair from my eyes which was blocking his view to read my eyes.

"Why don't we just pretend today as a happy family? Why don't you just let my babies eat lunch with me today? I'm not going to snatch them away from you babe, I promise." He places a kiss on my forehead gently and looking back down at me he smiles. "Let's go and have lunch with me today." He was about to pull me with him but I'm too stubborn than he thought I can be.

He looks back and stares at our hands then back at me. "I said let's us go Kim TaeHyung." I was staring at him firmly. He grips on our hands but as gently as he can be. "Y/n..." He whispers my name. "Let us go for God's sake." 

No matter what I'm not going to be as weak as I used to before. I'm ready to face him. I'm ready to face this war. And I will win. I have to win no matter what.
