A few days had passed and Bhakva had gotten into a routine of sorts. It wasn't one written in stone but it was decent for the time being. His guest was still healing, so she remained in the cave while he when to hunt.

Wanting to pull her weight, Indira made sure she was always up when he returned. Whatever he would catch, she would cook. Seeing how surprised he was the first time she cooked made her laugh a little. His eyes grew big at how well the food tasted, then he was shoveling the rest in his mouth. Since then, she was the one to prepared their meals.

Once again, they tried talking again but it was no use. The results were the same: neither could understand the other but Indira was determined to find a way. In this new world, she needed to be able to communicate, she just didn't know how. Yet.

Like clockwork, Bhakva left right after sunrise and Sabine slept for a few more hours. It was now a little later and he could be seen climbing back up the mountain with their breakfast-and lunch-over his shoulder.

Today, he had decided to take Sabine to wash up. It has been a few days and thought her wound wasn't fully healed, he knew she would want to be clean.

Tossing the meat, which looked like some kind of bird, to the side, Bhakva gathered the new dress he had just completed the day before and held his hand out for Indira.

She quickly scrambled to her feet, taking his outstretched hand and letting him lead her to the mouth of the cave. Looking down, Indira gulped when she saw how far up they were. One wrong move and she was someone's meal for the day.

Walking a little closer, Indira thought that she would have to descend by herself. Bhakva immediately eliminated that idea, he had other plans.

Gently grabbing her arm to stop her, he shook his head before lifting her into his arms. Her injured shoulder was safely placed in between their bodies-so no more damage came to it-while the other was wrapped tightly around his neck, holding onto the pack around his back.

Bhakva slid their clean clothes in between them as well, checking to make sure everything was secure, then began his descending climb. He made sure to take his time and be extra careful, as to not jostle the girl or add any unnecessary fear.

Indira watched the ground below them, hoping they didn't accidentally fall. As they got closer and closer to the bottom, her paranoia disappeared with it. When Bhakva's feet hit solid ground once again, she let out a relieved breath. Helping Sabine down, he check to see if she was still okay and took her hand in his.

To him, the girl was almost like a child, in the aspect of her being clueless about the world around her. He had to keep her close just in case she wandered off or got distracted-or if they needed to run at any point.

Glancing back at her as they walked to the private spring, Bhakva notice how her face changed. It became a mask of pure awe and amazement at what she was seeing. Of course she had seen the new environment from afar but up close and personal, it seemed even more breathtaking. The pictures she would see in books and online did it no justice. They probably wouldn't have even been able to comprehend the beauty of it all.

Her reactions were amusing to the caveman. He had lived here his whole life and was used to this world but the way she looked was once again, like a child. Like a child who had caught their first prey on their own.

He thought she looked were adorable with her eyes wide and the small smile on her face. It made him happy to see her so stunned.

Bhakva continued to watch for her reaction when they entered the trees and emerged at the bathing spring. As he expected, her face had grown even more amazed.

A larger smiled covered Indira's face as she looked at the beautiful, clear water. Turning to her guide, she pointed to the water and then herself. This had been their only way to somewhat hold a conversation but it wasn't nearly good enough.

Letting go of his hand, she moved closer to the water and began unbuttoning her pants. Looking over her shoulder, she squealed when she noticed Bhakva removing his clothes as well.

He didn't understand her and why she seemed so unnerved to see him naked but he couldn't ask either. Shrugging, he got in the water and turned his back to her.

Bhakva realized that if she was flustered seeing him naked, she would surely be the same if it were the other way around. Plus, he didn't want her to be uncomfortable about him. They did live together.

Feeling the little ripples from behind him, let him know that Indira was now in the water also. It was quiet as the cleaned themselves but it was peaceful.

The warm breeze caressed their skin before moving on, rustling the nearby leaves, creating a melody. The tree animals joined in, their different sounds becoming a chorus that added to the melody, making a lovely tune of nature.

The feeling was nice. Indira had always been surrounded by too much noise and too much talking. Even at the reserve there was too much. Too many people and man made materials that completely squashed the sound of nature. The pure feel of it.

Being away from all the buildings and all the people was oddly refreshing. She didn't know much about this world but she knew that it had an amazing view. Something she had become very fond of.

Indira turned when she heard Bhakva making a noise. Since she had woken up from her mini coma, that was the only way he could catch her attention.

Wrapping her arms around her chest, Sabine turned to face him. He was already dressed in what resembled a skirt, almost the same as the one he had on earlier. Stepping closer to her, he held out the dress.

Sabine smiled, taking it and stepping out the water when he turned away to give her privacy. She had no way of drying off so she just put on the dress which was surprisingly soft.

It was a decent fit and she was honestly very grateful to have something else to wear. Adding on the fact it was handmade just for her, made her even more grateful.

Not wanted to pollute the environment by leaving her clothes, she picked them up and grabbed Bhakva's hand. Perhaps the clothes could be used for a fire, or they could be recycled and made into something new. She didn't know but she had ideas.

Thanking Bhakva as bests she could, Indira followed him to a large rock. She sat on it while the caveman re-bandaged her shoulder, carefully watching him so she could learn. She wanted to do everything she could to be less of a burden.

When they were completely done, Bhakva took hold of her hand once again and began leading her somewhere else. She wasn't sure where they were going yet she knew it wasn't back to the cave. They went a whole other direction.

She remained silent though. The caveman obviously knew what he was doing so she just followed, watching the world around her. She noticed a lot and was surprised at just how warm it was. Her wet skin had dried almost instantly.

Bhakva turned before slowing down. Pushing Indira onto another rock, he placed a finger over her lip while pulling out a knife she saw him make from bone. Nodding, she pressed her lips together while her fingers curled into her dress.

She watched him move, shocked at how quick and quiet he was, especially for his massive size and height. Following his body with her eyes, an amazed gasp tore from her when he sliced through the under belly of a medium-sized bear looking creature before it could even notice him.

"Wow," she whispered clasping her hands together. Indira always loved watching people work and seeing the caveman in action was definitely something. It was truly impressive.

Sabine let out another sound of awe. This time, it caught Bhakva's attention. He looked to see her amazed face once again, and couldn't help the small smile that came onto his face.

Waving her over, he took her good hand and moved it towards the carcass. Sabine swiftly shook her head, trying and failing to pull her hand away.

Bhakva made a disapproving sound before continuing, entering her hand into the animal's stomach. This was a part of surviving and she had to learn it, just in case something happened.

With her hand, he began removing the remaining insides. When it seemed as if Indira had the hang of it, he stepped back to watch. She gagged a few times, feeling the insides squish and slide against her fingers. Yet, she didn't stop until the inside was completely clean.

With a proud smile and a bloody hand, she looked up to Bhakva who gave her a firm nod. Indira felt happy that she was able to help, even if it made her slightly uncomfortable. She would just keep working on it til it became normal.

Wiping her hand on her old clothes, she while Bhakva lifted the meat over his shoulder and secured it. Knowingly, she took his hand and let him lead her back to the cave.

When they got to the mountain, both noticed the slight dilemma. Sabine wasn't able to climb but Bhakva was already carrying their food.

Indira quickly thought of a compromise. She motioned Bhakva up the cave, trying to tell him to go ahead; she would wait until he came back.

The caveman didn't like the idea of leaving the girl alone and defenseless, even if it were just for a few minutes. Anything could happen in those few minutes and he wouldn't be here to save her.

Bhakva thought hard about the decision. On one hand, they needed the meat and leaving it would definitely drawn another animal who would more than likely steal it. But on the other, the girl would be left alone to the world. He grunted not liking either one.

Indira could see he was really worrying over the dilemma. She pushed him once more, pointing to the cave. Then she did it again until he gave her a heavy sigh and nodded.

So she had some form of defense, Bhakva handed her his bone blade and motioned for her to stay put. Patting her head as if to tell her it would be okay, he began climbing as fast as he could.

Indira cautiously looked around, holding out the blade just in case. It seemed like forever before Bhakva was back by her side. Sighing in relief, she climbed onto his back and let him take her up to their cave.

The fire burned bright in the cave. As expected by Indira-Sabine, her old clothes made good burning material. The day had rushed by, leaving the moon high in the sky.

The two had just eaten dinner and Bhakva was packing away the leftovers while Indira sat at the edge of the cave, star gazing. No matter how many times she saw them, they still took her breath away.

When Bhakva sat next to her, she looked up to him was a smile. At that precise moment, she realized that she had been living with him for three days and had yet to learn his name. The though made her facepalm. How could she forget something like that?

Tapping his shoulder to get his attention, she pointed at herself.

"Indira." He rose his eyebrows in confusion, tilting her head. Indira repeated the action again then point to him. Bhakva's eyes widened when he realized it was her name. He nodded and tried repeating it.

"En-dee-ra." Indira giggled at the pronunciation but gave him a nod. She pointed to him, as if asking his name.

"Bhakva."

"Bhakva?" She repeated, hoping she didn't completely butcher his name. The small smile she received was enough to calm her. Smiling back, she turned to the stars once more, happy that they were developing some kind of bond. Her hope that he would actually let her stay with him grew.
