Six years had passed since me and Tommy confessed our feelings to each other.

We graduated college, but ended up continuing with YouTube and Twitch. Tommy had started a YouTube channel with Tubbo, climbing quickly on the YouTube algorithm, probably faster than Dream when he was popular. He and a few other of our friends had retired from YouTube, and started something new. I perused my childhood dream of acting, and landed a role as the main character in a new comedy show, my popularity growing more than ever. The Dream SMP was now ancient history, apart of Minecraft's history as one of the biggest events of gaming to ever happen. The way it ended was actually pretty epic. Dream had been secretly gathering millions of TNT the entire time since day one, digging directly under the entire server. Or, at least the parts where we built. He went into the End and beat the game, and George had flicked a lever from underneath, blowing up everything.

"This was truly never meant to be." Dream had said before George blew everything up. I feel truly happy to have been apart of that saga, meeting the people in it, just being the overall best thing that had ever happened to me.

Tommy and I were now both 22, living together. We moved in together when we were twenty, his parents obviously supporting us. Caroline and Jake had eventually found out about me and my channel towards the end of our first year. Me and Tommy were yet to tell anyone that our relationship started fake, because it just seemed so funny and easy to pick up off of when we started actually dating. We still had movie nights twice a week, and still had our contract stowed away safely somewhere.

One night after finishing a movie called Someone out of the Blue released about two years ago, I stood up, heading towards our bedroom. Tommy pulled me back though, wrapping me in a hug.

"Uh uh uh, get your shoes on, we're getting some ice cream." he said giggling.

"Ice cream now? I'm tired-"

"Yes, now. Cmon!" he said, pulling me towards the front door. I sighed grinning, and slipped on my shoes as we walked out.

We got to the ice cream parlor and ordered two blueberry ice creams. Tommy led me to a beach, and sat me down on the concrete at the back. There was a sunset in the sky.

"This seems oddly familiar," I said, obviously knowing what he was doing.

"Really? Didn't seem obvious enough?" Tommy said nudging my shoulder playfully. I laughed at him, and placed my head on his shoulder. He placed it back, and we got lost in the good silence again, eating away our ice cream.

I stood up, finished with my ice cream, heading to throw it away. Except Tommy didn't stand up with me. He got down on one knee instead.

"So, listen Y/N, I'm about to say some pretty corny shit right now-" Tommy started nervously.

"YES! YES! A THOUSAND TIMES YES!" I exclaimed, jumping on top of him, landing us in the warm sand.

"WAIT WAIT LET ME JUST ASK IT!" Tommy said laughing.

"Okay, yes, sorry, go ahead." I said excitedly.

"Y/N L/N, Will you marry me?"

"Hmmmmmmm, no." I said jokingly.

"WHAT?! OH COME HERE YOU-"

"I'M JUST KIDDING, OF COURSE, TOMMY!"

***

"Hold still, Y/N." Caroline was desperately trying to put my makeup on.

"Sorry, I can't help it, I just can't wait to see him!" I exclaimed excitedly. "I have every right to, it's my wedding day." I said crossing my arms.

"Oh, Y/N. You crazy girl in love."

"Hey, you'll be like this on your wedding day."

"No way. Men are gross." she said acting disgusted.

"Okay, so what about our friend... hm what's his name, Toby?" Tubbo had been over to our house and met Caroline once. It was so obvious the two liked each other. Now I know how people felt when me and Tommy both still had just crushes on each other.

"Well, he's- HE'S DIFFERENT, OKAY!" she exclaimed. I laughed, knowing she'd say that.

She finished soon after, and spun me to show me.

"Don't you look so beautiful?" she asked, proud of her work.

I started to tear up a bit. "Yeah, I really do."

"Hey, hey, don't cry! I spent a lot of time on that goddamn mascara, if you fucking cry right now-"

"I won't, I won't, I won't," I said sucking in my tears.

"You ready?" she asked, offering for me to hold her hand.

Both excitement and nervousness was running through my veins. I was excited to see Tommy, I hadn't all day (with that bad luck shit and all), but I was scared to fuck it up.

"I think so." I said shakily.

"You'll do fine, Y/N."

I came gliding down the stairs, my dress was super long and twirly, hard to maneuver in. My dad had died four years ago due to a car crash accident along with my mother, and I had no brothers, so I had asked Jake to walk me down the aisle. He grabbed my arm in his, and flashed me a smile and a wink. It was as if he were saying 'you look beautiful.' I gave him a smile back, as if saying 'thank you, you look quite dashing yourself.'

And there he was, at the end of the aisle. He was him, but it was as if I was seeing him in a completely different way this time, with all of the guests seated, watching.

And it was over before I knew it.

I was happily married now, to the man of my dreams. The after party was a whole other story though. But before our party, Tommy had decided to expose the two of us in his vows.

Oh, and did I mention that Tubbo was recording everything on Tommy's side and Minx was recording everything on my side? Yeah. So not only the roughly 100 guests there would know, so would a few million online.

Yeah.

Towards the end is where he exposed the two of us.

"I have to be honest Y/N, sometimes I lie awake at night thinking about things too much, and once I actually wondered if you're still just faking it with me." he had said. I raised an eyebrow in confusion. It had been years since we talked about our little act. He knew that I loved him so much, he was smarter than that. Until it hit me, he was exposing our biggest secret.

Guests looked confused as he went on.

"I mean, you don't necessarily follow our contract anymore, but who knows, maybe you added some things." Tommy said chuckling. I started to chuckle too. The guests still looked bewildered.

'I think you should tell them,' I mouthed to Tommy. He nodded his head in agreement.

"Y/N, you once told me how good I was at acting like I was dating you, how good I was at pretending I was in love with you. It's because the entire time I was. That's why I guess we could fool our family and friends and millions of people online. I never knew that it was going to grow into an actual relationship, that part surprised me. But I wouldn't have it any other way." he had said. In that moment I wanted to wrap my arms around him tightly and kiss him until I couldn't breathe, and slap him across his face, but I remembered I was at a wedding and that it was best to not do any of those things.

The after party came, and it was nuts. Of course it was, it was me and Tommy. So here are just some of the highlights on a list for you:

The Highlights of the Simons After Party

-Wilbur got up and played a song he had written for me and Tommy which was called "The children are in love"

-Fundy drunkenly kissed Minx.

-Nick (Sapnap), Alex (Quackity), George, and Karl all got out and absolutely SLAYED the dance floor, performing 'The Schuyler Sisters" from Hamilton. George played Eliza, Karl played Angelica, Alex played Peggy, and Sapnap played Aaron Burr.

- I tossed my bouquet and Caroline caught it. I looked back to see Toby smiling back at her.

- Someone started playing Dream's old speed running music, which made all of the Gen Z guests there laugh in nostalgia and point at Dream. George even got up to try and chase him, but Dream ended up chasing him in the end with a spoon, yelling "C'MERE GEORGE!", like he did years ago when he still had a channel. I saw Bad rushing out to go help resolve the problem.

- Skeppy had eaten about five slices of cake.

- Someone's dog ran loose, causing Jake to tumble and fall out of his chair.

- Dave (Techno) had somehow taken over control of the huge monitor, and started playing an old video of his, the one with his iconic "TECHNOBLADE NEVER DIES" quote.

- Clay got out his phone and started speed running Minecraft. I sat down in my poofy dress right next to him, and pulled out my phone to join him. Tommy joined our world soon after, and used cheats to spawn a wither in the End, where we were.

And those were just some of the great things that happened that day.

The day was finally over, I left a fiancΓ©, and came home a wife. I was already in my night gown while I was standing outside on my balcony, the cold night air making my hair flow behind me and making me shiver. Some arms wrapped around me from the back, it was Tommy, engulfing me in a hug. He let go and joined right next to me. I place my head onto his shoulder, and he placed his onto my head.

"Y'know, seeing everyone today, I realized something," I had started.

"Yea?" he replied, listening in.

"They all aged six years from when we first got together, but when I looked at you walking down that aisle, I still saw that 16 year old boy I fell in love with so long ago. Everyone else might be on Earth. But I know where I am right now, I'm in our world together, and all I see is you. And it's all I'll ever need."

Tommy looked down on me, and smiled. He grabbed my cheek and kissed me softly. There was only one thought going through my mind. This couldn't get any better.

***
"Mommy, is that truly the end of the story?" A young girl asked.

"Yes, that was the end of the story. Are you ready? Cmon, open the car door, hon." Y/N grabbed the bouquet of flowers in the passenger seat.

They held hand in hand, mother and daughter, standing over the grave.

"I miss him, mommy." The girl had said.

Y/N started to cry, hard fast tears.

"Me too."

(A/N) And that is the end! Thank you so much for reading What a Coincidence, it really means a lot to me! I put in the extra effort to make this chapter longer, since it's the last one. I skipped over a bunch of wedding stuff, cause I really didn't know much about weddings I'm a minor πŸ‘πŸ‘„πŸ‘

This chapter had so many emotional rollercoasters, to the downfall of the SMP, the proposal, the wedding, Caroline and Tubbo (which I could totally write a story for if y'all are interested) the after party, and Tommy's death.

I actually deadass almost cried writing Tommy's death. πŸ₯² In case you're confused at the end with the switch of point of view, what happened was that Y/N had just been telling her daughter the story the entire time in their car, visiting Tommy's grave. Depressing, right?

I'm sorry for doing this to you guys ;-;

Here's an improvised version of you hated the way the ending turned out:

Tommy and Y/N had a little girl a while after, her name being Elizabeth. "After the queen," Tommy had told Y/N. They lived on the beach side, every once a week going down to get blueberry ice cream and watching sunsets on the concrete.

There ya go, a bit more happy, lmao.

This story planned to actually be quite longer, Jake was originally going to be introduced as a second love interest for Y/N, but I wanted to wrap up this story and because the flirting between Y/N and Tommy was getting unreal.

I just want to thank my 62 viewers that read this story when it wasn't even completed yet. They waited for the updates, which I just want to say thank you to. You guys are Pog Champ.

The main inspiration behind characters was this:

Elizabeth: Morgan Stark
Daughter of Tony Stark and Pepper Potts, appears in Avengers Endgame

Caroline: Caroline Manning
Sixteen year old singer and song writer, go check her out on YouTube, she has AMAZING songs.

Jake: Louis Partridge
Seventeen year old British actor (youve prolly heard of him), famous for his role in "Enola Holmes"

Those were the main inspiration behind the made up characters.

Now for the plot;

If you've read the book or watched the movie "To all the Boys I've loved before" (if not, spoilers!!), you'll know that the story played out the way that Lara Jean and Peter Kavinsky did, with a fake relationship.

Leave some questions if you have any, and I could possibly answer them in a separate part, primarily for a QNA.

It's been a wild ride, and I hope you enjoyed reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.

Signing off with a total of 2313 words,

Quxciy
