Just right after Neteyam dragged Ao'nung they went to his father to tell what had happened. Thankfully by the time it grew darker, Lo'ak had return with no injuries. It was a miracle that he was alive. The people gathered together with Olo'eyktan and Ao'nung. It was a great shame unto the clan that something like this happened. We are supposed to help these people to be water dwellers. I remember I stood from afar watching the parents scolding Lo'ak. It wasn't even his fault, yet he said it was.

Ao'nung is lucky to have Lo'aks back in this situation, because I cannot deal with his shit right now. I turned away not wanting to be around him nor Neteyam. Those two boys cause trouble when I'm around so it's best if I keep my distance with the both of them.

It has been so long since the last time I truly felt the water flow all around me. It was dark still yet lucky for me nobody would know I am gone. Peli swam in circles already waiting for me to ride her. Smiling widely I connect queue and was about to submerge into the water when a small soft voice called up to me.

It was Tuk. "Y/n! Where are you going?" Her face held so much innocence I almost died on the spot. "I'm going to get some fresh water, it's been awhile since I got away from the village a bit. Would you like to come along with me?" I opened my arm out for her to take. Instantly she beamed with her pretty smile that I adore so much. She grabbed my arm getting onto the back of Peli holding onto my waist.

"Hold on tightly! Peli tends to be a show off when people are near" I clicked my tongue for her to go and instantly she rushed forward diving into the water. Pelili swam up to jump in the air to twirl and dive back down. Tuk was laughing but held on tightly. What a show off right? Pelili stopped moving rashly and just swam up to the entrance barrier between the open seas and the village. The water like pallets stuck together like steps going down was one place I liked to go.

She held onto Tuks hand to help her onto the pallet gently and got up as well. Pelili stayed where she was and swam in circles. "Your Ilu is so cool! I want mine to be like that" Tuk went to pat Peli on the head, which she chirped.

"She's a wild one I'll tell you that" Y/n sat down on the ground to look out into the sea. It was a very beautiful sight that just draws you in. Even though it was dark, you can see the reefs lighting just illuminate the water. The eclipse will disappear anyways.

"Hey girls, mind if I join you?" Rotxo chimed with riding his Ilu who was making splashes to grab their attention. "Yes join us! We are stowaways!" Tuk pointed with her hand on her hip and tail curled up. Rotxo laughed and climbed up to join the girls. "I bet you are mad at Ao'nung huh?" He sat besides Y/n. "Please I don't even wanna talk about him" She leans her hand to run along the pools water. He nodded sighing quietly. "I just want to say I'm sorry about him, you know he can be off at times because he is the next leader of our clan" He tilted down to look at her from below to make her smile. "I know but it still doesn't justify his actions. I still care for him deeply but come on" Y/n poked Rotxos nose smiling at him. "Just needed to get away from everyone you know? Except for Tuk. She's an exception"

Tuk screamed "YEAH!" From hearing that and jumped into the pool splashing the two. "Aw man..not me ?"

"You sir pushed me in the water with Ao'Ao, but Im making an exception for you too" She laughed while going to splash him with water. He covered his face laughing as well "Hey!" Rotxo jumped in after her to splash water all in her face. "Hey I wanna join!" Tuk jumped on top of Rotxo when he was crouching.

The three of them were having a good time running around and splashing. Y/n has been alone in her home for a couple weeks without her parents. So spending time like this besides dancing was really amazing to her. Rotxo carried Tuk on his back to chase Y/n around the pools. The eclipse was uncovering the sun slowly making  Awa'atlu a beautiful pink and orange ombré. "Rotxo! Y/n!" Tsireya waved looking at the three. They all stopped "Came to join us?" Rotxo said still holding onto Tuk.

"Yes I did, but I wanted to speak with Y/n for a second" Tsireya smiled heading towards the girl who was standing there awkwardly. "You guys go on ahead and continue. We shouldn't be long" she walked up to Tsireya and led her up the pools a bit a little ways away from the others. "Whats up?" She sits down but Tsireya stayed where she was standing in front of Y/n.

"Remember we were talking and I couldn't finish my sentence because Neteyam came suddenly? Well it's that thing. I can't keep this in anymore, it's really eating me up alive from the inside" Y/ns ears fell looking at her face swallowing slowly "Tsireya...please tell me you didn't kill someone?" She laughed nervously but Tsireya was panicking.

"No I didnt..." She bent down to grab Y/ns hands "We've known each other practically since birth and both our parents are so fond of one another that my mother spoke to yours before they left to travel and.."

"And what?" Y/n leaned in patted Tsireya on the shoulders.

"Have you been wondering why Ao'nung was acting differently before the Sully's came to Awa'atlu?"

She raised her brow "Yes..and no, because Ao has always been himself when we hang out, I've only noticed it when the Sully's came. That's when he started to act weird"

Tsireya breathed in closing her eyes "There's a reason for his behavior, of being next Olo'eyktan and...because of you."

"What are you talking ab-" she began but the girl cut her off. "No Y/n please let me explain! He has become more possessive of you because.."

"Your going to be promised to Ao'nung"

"What!?"

After what she had told me, my eyes bulged and I was unable to speak. Promised? That means I'll be mated to Ao? I stood up and moved away from her. "What? When did this happen? Rather, HOW!" Tsireya grabbed my shoulders. "My brother overheard the conversation and told me later that our parents had decided this a long time ago. I'm sorry for not informing you sooner...but I noticed the way you and Neteyam were looking at each other and-"

She began to cry. "I just love my brother so much that I know if he found out his mate was with someone else, it would break him. I mean you saw how he got earlier." She sobbed even more while clutching my hand. I couldn't say anything. How can our parents make a decision when I haven't even decided on my own emotions? I wrapped my arms around Tsireya's body and hugged her. "I adore your brother, but I honestly have no idea how I feel about love. And I'm not his mate until it's official Tsi...please don't say that because it will only confuse what I'm feeling deep down" I gently massage her back.

"I'm sorry Y/n...I want you to be happy but I must know..do you like Ao'nung? Or do you like Neteyam?" Round aqua eyes stared up at me curiously. I know she wants an answer, but I'm unable to provide one.

"You like Neteyam!?" Tuk stands up next to Rotxo. It seemed they both were spying on the girls. Y/n snapped her neck at her and panicked herself. "No Tuk wait a minute! You can't tell anyone about this not even your brothers or sister" She grabs her hand pleading. Tuk just smiled "I was not planning on it because my brother talks about you a lot when he's with me!" She wiggled her arms jumping up and down.

Rotxo laughs and looks up at Y/n "Since we are confessing...then To make it official Ao'nung has said he likes you Y/n. I just don't think you took it seriously" he rubbed his neck.

"Is everyone liking me now or something?? I'm completely unaware of this whatsoever" she slumps down holding onto her head. The new information was a bit much to take in, yet her face was all red and blushing. "We won't tell them anything Y/n, this will be our own group that talked about two Na'vis fighting for you" Tuk said with both her hands together smiling. "So romantic!"

"Tuk.." Tsireya had began but stopped when Y/n raised her hand. "No it's okay, I honestly will need help in trying to figure my feelings out for the boys..it's not official if I really like them but..will you guys help me?" The three of them look at each other before turning back at Y/n.

"We would love too!"

In all honesty. Y/n was in denial, because she had developed feelings that she tried to ignore for awhile.
