"This is it? This is the place?" Jackson Whittemore questioned facing me. We were outside of my house, Peter thought if Sophie and Scott won't help him, he'll just make a new beta.

And Jackson is the perfect candidate, I heard he's been questioning Scott on what he is. He thought the reason Scott got so good at lacrosse out of no where is because he was taking steroids, and he thought I was his dealer. Teens these days.

I nodded, "go ahead." He looked at me confused and worried, he turned around slowly beginning to walk up the stairs pausing before taking the first step "is it safe? I don't want any rafters falling on my head." He turned back to me annoyed, I nodded.

"Go in." I reassured him. I could smell the fear, he was stalling. He isn't the big tough guy he makes himself out to be. He walked up the stairs that lead to the front door step by step as I followed.

He paused on the top step wearily, he turned to me with a worried expression. I nodded forward for him to continue. He sighed turning back around stepping onto the porch.

He turned back to me concerned, "what's in here?" I slightly shrugged, "everything you want." He looked to the door, he took a step toward it reaching his hand out for the door knob.

I walked up the stairs behind him as he turned the door knob letting it open slowly. I put my hand on his shoulder as he jumped, startled. "It's gonna be all right. Trust me." I gave him a reassuring shake.

I pushed him into the house slightly as he walked in. I followed closing the door behind us. It's not like I wanted to do this but I didn't have a choice. He looked around, "this house... it's the same house."

Jackson muttered as I turned looking at him confused, "what'd you say?" He shrugged "I've dreamt about this place. I remember the staircase. I remember these... these walls. I remember everything." His voice was shaky as he looked around.

"You've been here?" I questioned confused as he turned around facing me, he shook his head, "no, never. I dreamt it." He spoke quickly as I looked to him with an angry expression. How does he know this place? Scott had to of shown him.

His expression turned to realization, "there's no one else here?" He questioned scared, I shook my head, "and no one else is coming?" I shook my head again, as I clinched my fists making my claws come out.

He looked down to my hand worried, he whimpered as he stumbled back falling onto the stairs, "no... no, please..." he stuttered, "please don't, okay? I'll shut up. I'll never say another word again. I'l- I'll leave Scott alone. Please, you can't do this! Please!" He pleaded with me.

I took a deep breath, "i..." he choked out a sob, "I don't deserve it." I nodded, "I think you do." He put his hands up in defense shaking his head, "no!" He shouted, "look around you! Wouldn't there be someone here trying to save you? There's no one here!" I spoke annoyed.

"And there's a reason. No one cares that you drive an expensive car. No one cares that you have perfect hair, and no one cares that you're captain of the lacrosse team!" I shouted angrily and annoyed.

"Excuse me." He turned around confused, I looked up to the top of the stairs, Sophie? "Co-captain." She corrected me as she jumped flying through the air landing between me and Jackson.

What the hell is she doing? Why is she trying to save him? After all the shit she talked about him and she's here saving him? She looked to Jackson as hair grew out of her cheeks, she's getting pretty good at this wolf thing.

She growled as she looked to me, i snarled at her as I shifted. She stood up slowly, "move!" I spoke low as she slowly shook her head, "no." I shrugged, "fine. I'll kill you too." I won't actually but I just want her to scare her into leaving.

She chuckled, "go ahead and try." I turned around as a loud whistling noise came from outside towards the house. Oh no. "Cover your eyes!" I shouted warning her, I shielded my eyes as a bright light filled the room with an explosion.

Gun shots filled the room as I scooted to a corner, I looked up to see multiple bullets go through Sophie. No! She held her chest as she fell to the ground scooting to beside the stairs as more rapid gun fire shot through the front door.

Damn hunters. I looked to Sophie worriedly, she was bleeding black blood as blue mist rose from the bullet wounds. She spit out a big clot of black blood also. Shit, it's the same bullet i was shot with. I need to get her out of here before the hunters see her.

"Sophie! Go!" I pointed to the back door. She didn't move, she probably can't hear me. I sighed, I looked around the dresser before standing moving to her quickly. I picked her up, pushing her towards the back door, "run!"

She stumbled as she ran out the back of the house. I'll go back for her, I need to distract the hunters so they don't see her. I went to the front door as I glanced back toward the back of the house making sure she was out.

I opened the front door as I let out a loud roar, everything went black as soon as a bullet hit me.

Last thing I remember was being shot after almost fighting Derek because he was trying to kill Jackson. Then he pushed me out the back as I ran away through the woods, that's how I ended up here.

Laying on the ground barely conscious, in unbearable pain. The hunters must have shot me with the same bullet Kate did Derek a while ago. I am bleeding black blood from the wounds and spitting it. God this sucks.

I'm going to die unless Derek somehow gets away from the hunters and find me. I am defenseless. I'm too weak to defend myself if the hunters find me first. Please find me Derek. Please find me Derek.

The pain became unbearable until I passed out.

I began to come too again as I felt like i was floating. I was being carried. Please be Derek. "Derek?" Please don't be the hunters. "It's all right, Sophie. You're gonna be all right." Oh no, the hunters found me.

I didn't stay conscious long enough to find out.

I gasped coughing, "I wouldn't get up just yet." I looked up confused at the man's voice as I continued coughing, Deaton? I looked around the room, "where am I?" I looked around, the clinic? Why am i here? How did I get here?

"You're fine. And I've given you something that should speed up the healing process." I looked down to my wound as Deaton patted it with a cotton ball. I looked up to the person on the other side of me, my vision focused on Scott standing on the other side of me.

"Scott?" He nodded slightly, I looked around confused, "why am I here? You're a vet." He nodded as he threw the cotton ball into a ton bowl beside me, "that's very true. And ninety percent of the time, I'm mostly treating cats and dogs."

I looked up confused as my vision went in and out, "mostly?" I questioned as he looked to me shrugging, "mostly." He smirked slightly as I laid my head back groaning. "Where's Derek?" They were silent, I looked up to them to make sure I wasn't hallucinating.

Deaton looked to Scott confused, I looked to Scott as he looked down to me shrugging, "I don't know, you were the only Deaton found in the woods." I looked to Deaton, "you found me?" He nodded, "how?" He shrugged, "I have my ways."

He walked away from the table as I laid my head back, "oh goodie." I sighed, where could Derek be? Maybe he came looking for me but i wasn't in the woods so maybe he's at my house or waiting for me to come back to his house.

I've gotta heal and find him. I sighed trying to sit up, "I know I'm technically animal but isn't the Veterinarian a bit much?" I questioned Scott as he looked at me confused, "woah, Soph. You're still healing, you need rest."

I shook my head, "no, what I need is to find Derek. I left him there alone to fight the hunters." He sighed pushing me back down, "Derek can take care of himself." I sighed, "what about Jackson? Did Jackson get out?"

I totally forget Jackson was there. I didn't see him when I left so maybe he got out before bullets started flying. Scott looked at me confused, "i don't know." I sighed, "Derek was going to kill him."

"What? Why?" I shrugged weakly, "I don't know. I thought you said they wanted to turn him." He shrugged confused, "i thought they was going to. Why would they want to kill Jackson?"

I shrugged, "is this medicine or whatever he gave me supposed to make me sleepy?" Deaton walked back in, "it's known to make them drowsy." I nodded, "so I can take a nap?" Deaton nodded as he chuckled.

"You're safe here, Sophie." I nodded closing my eyes. "Good." Good because as soon as I heal I'm blowing this popsicle stand and going to find Derek. If he's not dead, he's probably looking for me and I need him to know I'm okay.

I also need to know he's okay.
