"Hey mamas boy.." I cooed as I picked him up.

"Girl all that hair..." Adaliya said as she stood beside me.

I had went into labor at 4am last night and had been for 8 hours before he finally decided to come out.

Journey, Adaliya, Amare, and Yana was here...

We tried to get in contact with Luxor, but he didn't reply to any of us.

"You want me to get the rest of them??" Adaliya asked and I nodded.

I had Adaliya stay with me while I was in labor and giving birth, she actually stayed with me during all of it no matter what.

I was glad to find a friend like her, she even let me squeeze the life out her hand when I had to push him out.

Iniko...he was finally here.

He gripped into my finger as he kept squinting his eyes.

"If you don't wanna look at me just say that.." I said as he kicked his legs around.

"Aweeee...damn he gotta a lot of hair on his head." Yana said and I laughed as they sat down.

"How'd it go?" Journey asked.

"I mean..pushing him I didn't really feel due to the epidural, it was just the contractions at first." I said.

"How much he weighed?" Amare asked.

"7 pounds and 8 ounces." I said

"Awe Adaliya how it feel to be daddy during that?" Amare asked her and Adaliya flipped him off.

"You done?" She asked him and he shrugged.

I shook my head as there was a knock on the door.

The door slowly opened revealing Luxor.

"I- you-" Yana covered Adaliya mouth before she could finish.

"I know I know I'm late I'm sorry." He said and then looked over at me and my son...his son..our son whatever hell.

"Should we head out or..." Amare said looking around.

"Shit...you gonna be good??" Adaliya asked me and I nodded.

They got up,"We'll go to the cafeteria be back..." Adaliya said and purposely bumped into Luxor.

I shook my head as Journey grabbed her as they left the room.

I sighed as silence took over and Luxor was just looking down at Iniko.

"So you just gonna stand there.." I said and he cleared his throat.

"I don't know what to say, I mean I'm really a father now deadass..." he said.

"Can I hold him?" I looked towards the sink and he washed his hands before drying them.

Then he came back over to me and I carefully handed him Iniko.

"He's..he's perfect." Luxor said and smiled at him.

I saw tears in his eyes and I couldn't  stay looking at him for long, I hate him so much for cheating and then trying to get with Adaliya that night.

He was my first love...still hate him for that shit.

He sat down in a chair with him as he talked to him,"And I know I've fucked up..and cause some stress on you and mommy but imma do right for you and her now.." he said and I rolled my eyes.

Wait till his son get older and finds out he missed his birth...

"Mariah...I am sorry." He said.

"Okay.." I responded back in a monotone as I laid back.

"If your tired I'll watch him while you rest.." he said and I thought about it.

"If you don't know what to do please call a nurse." I said.

"I gotcha..." he said and I laid down and slowly started closing my eyes before I fell asleep.

"Mariah...Mariah..." I slowly woke up and saw Adaliya looking at me but she was looking at me weird.

"What?" I asked rubbing my eyes and sitting up.

"Umm...we gotta tell you sumn..." Yana said.

I scanned the room looking for Luxor,"Oh— he left..." I said and sighed but then I re scanned the room.

"Hold on...where's my son?" I asked.

"When we came back Luxor was gone...we asked the nurses and they didn't come back here and get iniko." Journey said and I felt a heavy weight on my chest.

"So your telling me that nigga just took my son and left??" I asked.

"I'm sorry..." Adaliya said.

just when things were going alright...

"Wait wait no please tell me y'all lying mane deadass." I said sitting up.

"Woah woah— c'mere it's gonna be okay." Yana said as she hugged me and I started crying.

"No mane what if this nigga hurt him, he don't know how to take care of a fuckin child." I said as I sobbed.

A police officer came in the room, I watched as Amare quickly looked another direction.

"Amare..you not slick." The officer said and Amare shrugged.

"This not about me." He said and the officer walked over to me.

"Now, we believe your baby was stolen by the father correct??" He asked and I nodded.

I was still in the hospital and was just staring at the ceiling.

Adaliya and Journey were staying with me and let Amare and Yana go home.

Journey was passed out and Adaliya was laying in the bed beside me.

I bit my lip as I looked over at the small bed he would've been in.

"Adaliya...am I dumb for really trusting him?" I asked and she put her phone down before looking at me.

"No your not dumb..I mean that is his child too, plus you were exhausted from being in labor...just wish I would've stayed in here or sumn. I'm really sorry his dumbass really thought to do some shit like this." Adaliya said and I just sighed.

Ik y'all be wanting updates and stuff I understand that, but I also have a life outside of this
