You were a college student, currently enrolling in your 3rd year. If someone were to describe you, they'd probably say that you're just an average college student, suffering with debt like everyone else. And to be fair, they would be right.

However, there was one tiny detail that they would be leaving out.

You were currently dating an A-List Celebrity, Jenna Ortega.

To be honest, you didn't really know who she was, or how popular she really was until after the matter. You were never really on social media a lot, as you spend most of your free time either studying, sleeping, or having a mental breakdown for the foreseeable future about where you would end up after college.

You met Jenna at a coffee shop that was near the school campus. You worked part time there, trying to scramble as much money as you could to save your own ass from school debt.

Her first time coming there, everything was normal, as you just saw her as a regular customer.

Her second time going was the same day, only this time it was before closing. She didn't buy anything, instead she just sat down and stayed on her phone until it was time to close the shop.

You had politely informed her that the shop was closing and that she had to leave. At first it seemed like she wanted to say something to you, but she promptly left.

For the next couple of weeks, Jenna had came in almost everyday, it was to the point to where you already knew her order by heart.

It had gotten to the point to when you would give the brunette girl her order, she'd say your name while thanking you.

Every time Jenna came in, she was always wearing a black face mask and sunshades. You didn't really mind the mask, but the sunshades indoors seemed kind ofย  excessive.

Though now looking back on it, you had realized why she was wearing them, as it was because she didn't want to get recognized in public.

Throughout the few weeks of her coming in, while you were working, you began to peak through her mask whenever she would take it off to take a sip of her drink to see her face.

You couldn't help it, your curiosity for what she looked like got the better of you.

After seeing her face -mainly glances of it-, you quickly began to have a crush on the girl. And that's when your tactics for trying to ask her out, and getting to know her began.

You were currently making her order, as you poured the mixed drink into the coffee cup and wrote her name on it. You grabbed the cup as you began walking to the table next to the window where the masked girl was sitting.

Luckily, there weren't really any people around this time. Just two other students cramming to get their work done before the next period started. You mainly took evening classes, as they fit your schedule better.

"Here you go." You politely stated, while looking down at Jenna.

"Thank you, Y/n." She thanked you, giving you a smile through her black mask and grabbing her drink while you nodded in response.

You stood there awkwardly for a few seconds before garnering up all the courage to start a conversation with her.

"Sooo, do you like, go to Uni down the street from here? 'Cause I haven't really seen you on campus anywhere..." You asked, as Jenna removed her mask and took a sip of her drink.

"Uhm... No, I don't. I just visit here because... It's close from home." Jenna responded, as she lifted her mask back up.

That was a lie, Jenna lived almost half an hour away.

The truth was because she had formed a crush on you as well. The first time she came here, it was just by coincidence, as she was just shopping at a store nearby.

But after seeing you, she couldn't help but want to visit again. She didn't really know what she was expecting, visiting a random coffee shop almost daily just to sit in silence on her phone or laptop for an hour or two.

However it seemed her efforts were being rewarded, seeing now as you decided to make a move on her.

"So, what do you do for a living?" You asked, as you took a seat in the chair in front of her. Jenna paused as she thought long and hard about how to answer this. You removed your apron as you set it down on the chair next to you.

"I'm an author. I like to write and read a lot, so I also like to write my own stories." She answered, while you nodded your head.

After seeing her face, and then seeing how normal you were around her, Jenna quickly realized that you had no idea who she was.

Jenna couldn't help but like the idea of being seen as a normal person, like as if it would be a fresh start to a friendship and hopefully something more.

Soon after that, she had got what she wanted. And you, had gotten more than you had bargained for.

After that interaction with one another, you managed to get her number. Both of you began texting and face timing each other when you weren't busy.

On your first date, you went to an amusement park. This was when you became quite suspicious of the brunette haired girl.

Anytime the two of you were in public together, she always wore her mask, and either a hat or sunshades, or both.

She was cautious of when she took her mask of to eat or drink, and she was very secretive about more of her personal life.

Regardless, when you had gotten back to your dorm, you and Jenna shared your first kiss outside of the door. Her lips were soft, and when you embraced her, you could smell a sweet fragrance linger from her.

At that point from then on, you two would be dating.

As the weeks to months went by, it was hard to get into contact with her, as she would take hours to respond to your texts.

But every time that she managed to respond, she would apologize profusely, and tell you that she was just really busy with writing and publishing her books.

You were still excited for what the future with this secretive girl had in store for you.

...Until, you finally found out who she really was.

On day, you were scrolling aimlessly in your dorm on TikTok, until you saw an edit that displayed Jenna, but it wasn't exactly her. It was a Wednesday edit, of her iconic dance scene.

At first, you had came up with three explanations.

Explanation one, it was just some sort of doppelgรคnger of Jenna, who just looked extremely and creepily alike.

Explanation two, Jenna was lying about her career and was actually an A-List celebrity who was well admired by everyone except somehow you.

And explanation three, you were just really fucking high.

You decided to save the video and send it to Jenna via text message, asking her if that was her in the video. After an hour or two, you finally got a response. Jenna had confessed that it was in fact her, and that she was actually an actress.

At first, you felt quite betrayed, and you felt stupid for not knowing who she was.

Jenna tried her best to comfort you and tell you that she had enjoyed the fact of you not knowing who she was, as she got to be more herself around you without judgement.

You had done more research on her, finding out that she had always been acting since a young age. She had been in multiple movies and TV shows, with multiple other well known actors.

You also found out that she was in Iron Man, a film franchise that you had loved.

"God... I've seen this movie like a hundred times... How the hell did I not recognize her?" You cursed to yourself, as you were rewatching Iron Man 3 again, where Jenna made an appearance when she was younger.

It all started to click to you. How Jenna always hid her identity in public when with you, how she never really told you what books she were writing, or what books she's published.

How she could never respond in a reasonable time, or how she never really gave you any of her social media.

Now that you had realized it, she never even told you her last name.

Despite now knowing who Jenna really was, you still continued to date her, even now knowing how famous she really was.

It was now a little over the one year mark of you and Jenna dating. Jenna had kept your relationship a secret from the public, but when asked she would mention that she wasn't in fact single.

In an interview, 'Jenna Ortega Answers the Web's Most Searched Questions Again' is where Jenna had publicly confirmed that she was in a relationship.

The media roared over who everyone thought she was dating. They thought it would be someone from the Wednesday cast, maybe someone in the music industry, or maybe a famous influencer.

You scrolled for what seemed like hours on Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok, seeing everyone becoming more and more curious as for who she was dating.

You couldn't help but feel so small, so insignificant when being compared to everyone else that people thought she was dating.

They were all famous, insanely attractive, and they seemed perfect.

And here you were, a struggling college student with uncertain goals or aims for success. You were just living day by day, already somewhat content with what you had.

The times that you were with Jenna, either at her house, or out in public, she noticed that you became somewhat uncomfortable.

You were sitting in a restaurant, as Jenna went up to get some napkins before eating. After she had gotten back, she sighed heavily as she lowered her mask down the the bottom of her nose.

"Y/n, I know there's something up with you. You've become more quiet. I don't like it..." She softly concerned, as you sat across from her silently with your hands in your lap.

"I know, it's just..." You trailed off, trying to put your current thoughts into words.

"I don't know. It feels like I'm not good enough for you. Like, we live in two different worlds, y'know? I'm just a regular college student, and you're... Well, you're you." You stated, you eyes shifted from the table up to the brunette haired girl.

Jenna got up from her side of the table, and sat next to you, placing her hand on top of yours in your lap, as she looked directly up at you.

"I already told you, you're plenty good enough for me. I don't need anyone else, and I don't want anyone else. This year that we've spent together means everything to me..." Jenna comforted you, as she gave you hand a gentle squeeze.

"I'm so glad I met you, you're like my fresh breath of air. When we first met, and you didn't know who I was, I felt like I could start off fresh. I felt so relaxed at the fact that I could be myself around someone besides my family." Jenna continued, as you looked down at her.

"But... I don't think anyone else would feel the same. I'm not anyone special. I'm not some sort of celebrity with acknowledgeable feats, I'm just a nobody." Your back began to slouch, as you looked down at the floor.

Ever since you knew who Jenna was, and started looking at her online attention, it was outstanding how low your confidence became. It was like you were off some sort of psychedelic, and had a sudden ego death.

At first, you tried to ignore it, you tried to just focus on Jenna, and how happy the relationship was. Because, it truly was a happy relationship. You both started off having a crush on one another, to becoming deeply in love.

Jenna had opened up more to you about her personal life after you found out her being famous. She talked about the downsides of it, how she became more conscious about how she looked.

Whenever it was just you and Jenna at her house, she always wore sweatpants and a messy bun, with an oversized t-shirt and no makeup. You had told her that whenever she's around you, she didn't have to try and dress to impress. You already loved her for who she was.

And you truly meant that, because even when she was just simply lounging around the house with sweatpants and no makeup on, she still looked damn good doing it.

But even then, you didn't know what to think of anything anymore. It felt like you had reached your breaking point, seeing how everyone expected her to be dating the perfect guy, or some sort of perfect celebrity. It all became too much for you to handle.

Seeing Jenna interacting with other celebrities, artists, collabing with high fashion clothing brands, and you just being nothing in comparison. You felt like you didn't offer anything to the table.

Money? No, Jenna had plenty of that. If anything you needed the money more than she did. She always paid for your meals, and your car rides to her place, and for anything that you needed or wanted.

On your one year anniversary, she got you a PS5, a new monitor, a new phone, and a extremely expensive gaming chair. It damn near felt like Christmas to you, like you were a little kid again.

All you could afford was a big stuffed teddy bear, a box of chocolates, and a card.

Even then, Jenna still greatly appreciated it, as she sleeps with the stuffed teddy bear every night and has it laying in her bed.

She may of had loved it, but you felt still terrible inside.

"You're not a nobody. You're my boyfriend. And that's all you need to worry about when you're with me, okay?" Jenna responded, as she reached up and wrapped her arms around you, as you grabbed her arm and rested your head in the crook of her neck.

"I'm her boyfriend... That's all I need to worry about... That's all I need to worry about..." You repeated her words inside your head, trying to find some sort of security, some sort of safety.

It was a few months later, you and Jenna had decided to go fully public about the relationship. She posted a story on her Instagram a mirror selfie with you holding the phone while she was kissing your cheek, and your arm wrapped around her.

The internet, and the general public had a complete uproar at the fact that she was dating a random person. They became furious at the thought that she wasn't dating anyone famous, or more attractive.

People began to dig deeper about you and found your personal social media, and began sending you hateful messages, and tweets.

They found out what college you went to, and even the coffee shop that you worked at. After being recognized more than a few times in the shop, you swiftly decided to quit.

You and Jenna were also rapidly trending on Twitter. But not for the things that you wished you were trending for.

You were hoping that people would be more positive, but in the end, it was the internet. And it felt like everyone hated you.

...What? You thought that this was some sort of fan fiction where everything goes your way?

Your confidence somehow became even lower than before, you couldn't walk out in public anymore. You were being bombarded with questions from family, friends, and random people that you didn't even know if you and Jenna were actually dating.

Asking you how you were able to date her in the first place, what it was like dating a celebrity, and how jealous they were.

People online became so irritated, that it got to the point to where they accused you of using Jenna for her fame. Saying that you were only dating her because she was famous, and that you only wanted to leech off of her.

Jenna quickly came to your aid, posting another story on Instagram saying that it clearly wasn't like that, and that you had no idea who she even was when you first met. She also stated that she could date whoever she wanted, and that her personal life wasn't anyone else's business.

To be honest, you didn't want to do this anymore. It had already became too much for you. But now that Jenna has announced your relationship to the whole world, you were too far deep in to turn back now.

If you were to break up with her now, it would only make the internet hate you even more than they already do.

Jenna had tried to do her best to comfort you, and tell you that everything would be okay. And you wanted to believe that, you really, truly did. But with all this attention on you, you hated the thought of continuing on like this.

You were now on the way to graduating college, as the ceremony was only in a few days. Your family was already planning on flying down to attend, and of course, Jenna would be attending too.

Jenna had noticed your mental state slowly deteriorating with every negative message, every negative tweet that was being sent your way.

You were laying in bed with Jenna, as she had her arms wrapped around your head, your face being buried in her chest while you has your arms around her waist.

The brunette haired girl slowly stroked the back of your head, her hand flowing up and down and in between the locks of your h/c hair.

"...Are you okay?" Jenna gently asked, as you stayed silent, unable to say that you were.

You wanted to act more stronger in front of her, but after doing it for so long, you couldn't manage to put the facade on
