Carson sat in bed editing this YouTube video while listening to music play from her tv in the background.

She called Jack the night after everything went down with her friends and some girl answered the phone and since they're not together she wasn't making a big deal out of it, She just called him back the next day and he didn't answer nor did he text or call her back since so she's not going to chase him.

She did her fair share of kissing up to him.

It's time he starts kissing her ass, he wanted her to call him which she did and then he didn't text or call back after the other night, she just decided on waiting to see if he'd call her back. If not, that's fine too. She'll give it three days max.

She set the video to premiere at a certain time before closing her laptop and going to put on some jelly slides, grabbing her phone and going into the kitchen.

She got the ingredients for french toast out and got ready to make it before her phone started vibrating and she looked at the screen, furrowing her eyebrows.

would like to FaceTime...

She debated on answering and she eventually just waited for it to automatically hang up before she went back to doing what she was doing at first. He kept calling back and she continued to ignore that but he wasn't letting it go so she just answered.

"What do you want? Make it quick, I'm busy."

"Doing what?"

"Bye." She got ready to hang up the phone but he said something.

"For real, what you doing?"

"What it look like?" I asked him in a duh tone. "Don't be stupid."

"Man, what you doing today?"

"Minding my business."

"Don't even act like that."

"Don't act like you care about what I'm doing now because when I called you somebody else picked up the phoneβ€”"

"That was one of Urban's friends. She told me you called."

Carson stared at him blankly, before continuing to make her toast. "Whatever. I'm going shopping with Amari and Jayda in a few hours."

Jack didn't answer because in all honestly he didn't like her friends. He just thought they were weird and shady. He couldn't put his finger on it, but something about them just made him uneasy.

"You still there?"

Jack cleared his throat, "Don't you have enough clothes? You don't need anymore."

"You can never have too many clothes," She said simply while looking back at her phone. Jack's phone was fairly close to his face, he was watching Carson. She stuck up her middle finger with a bright smile causing Jack to smile faintly.

"You look good. Too good for the mall." He told her.

"Oh yeah?" She opened her fridge, "Where should I go instead?"

"My bed."

He said it so quick and so smooth Carson barely caught it. When she understood what he said, she just laughed. "Jack, leave me alone. You don't even have a chance."

Jack laughed, "Yes I do, shut up." She only smiled because he was right, he did have a chance...just a little one though.

''What you finna do?'' She asked changing the subject. Jack only shrugged because he no idea, he wanted to spend time with her but he's not going to stop her from hanging out with her friends.

''Probably going to the studio,'' he lied.

''Don't you ever do anything...else?''

''Nah not really. Don't you ever do anything else but...shop?''

She thought for a second, "Nah not really," She laughed before glancing up at her phone again, Jack was smiling at her. She started to notice more and more everyday how attractive he was, his smile is what always caught her eye.

"Fuck you starin' at me so hard for?"

"Shut up, that's why you ugly." She told him while looking away. A second later there was a knock on her door, she knew it was Amari and Jayda so she went to open it. She let them in before walking back to the kitchen.

"Who was at the door?" Jack asked softly right before Amari came into frame. His smile went away before he just ended the call, Amari standing there dumbfounded.

"Did I do sum wrong?" She asked, looking at Carson.

Carson let out a low whistle while scratching her head, "I'mma go get dressed." She turned off the stove and began to walk away, Jayda following after her. "Lemme borrow a pair of earrings." She said, already putting the diamond studs that she found on the counter into her ears. Carson shrugged, not really caring since she had plenty more. About 20 minutes later they left Carson's apartment, all three of them getting into her car.

The girls were sitting in Chipotle with their own individual meals that Carson paid for, she didn't mind treating her friends to lunch.

"So.." Amari started while moving her food around a bit with her fork. "About Majesty."

"What about her?" Carson asked, eating one of her chips.

"Well to start off, she's a bitch." She said seriously.

Carson set her fork down, moved her hair off her shoulder, and crossed her legs, "How? And don't bring up what happened at my place."

"That's all I need to bring up. She disrespected me. She a guest in our group, not the other way around."

"You can't call her a bitch from one little argument. You were both bitches. You even started it by trying to act like you didn't know her." Carson crossed her arms. "I'm not going to end a good friendship with Majesty because you got yo' feelings hurt."

Amari stared at her with irritation in her eyes. She didn't understand why she would defend the girl so hard, they barely knew each other. Amari just shrugged and went back to eating her food.

"Since we talking about bitches we don't like, you need to get rid of yo' lil boyfriend." Jayda said, wiping her hands on a napkin.

"Girl, what boyfriend? You know I'm single." Carson rolled her eyes at her.

"That lil white boy, who else?"

"Urban?" Carson asked as if she didn't even know who Jack was, she just wanted Jayda to leave her alone.

"Let's not play these games Carson. We don't like him." She said and Amari nodded. "All them rappers the same anyway, he gon' use you for followers then dip. Don't be dumb."

Amari then spoke, "Look what Dior did to you, waited until he got his first big check to leave yo' ass in the dust. On the ground. Broken. Forever." Amari dragged.

Carson just looked at her friends silently, she didn't want to believe them but she didn't want to be hurt again. She couldn't go through another heartbreak like that. "I don't even like Jack like that...we just friends."

Both girls across from her looked at her with a look of disbelief, "Girl, bye."Jayda laughed in her face. Jayda was just like Carson in a way. Both were uptight rich girls who didn't have any regard for anyone else's feelings. Jayda always spoke what was on her mind, she didn't care who she hurt, even if it was her own friend.

Carson didn't speak, which was rare for the girl. "So you guys think I should break it off with him?" She finally asked quietly.

They bother nodded, "Hell yeah. Who the fuck needs a white boy anyway, nigga can't even enjoy the sun with you."

"So? He likes sunsets better anyway." Carson argued softly. Amari and Jayda smacked their lips at the same time, "Oh my fucking God," Jayda said. "Just think about it."

And Carson did just that. She thought about it all night.
