Carson stood in the kitchen helping Jack, Urban, and Nemo with dinner. "Jack, pass me that knife."

Nemo shook his head, "I'll cut it."

"I took those cooking classes so y'all would stop treating me like this. I know how to cook now, pass me the knife." She pulled up her sleeves.

"I thought you took cooking classes to learn how to cook for Devyn?" Jack handed her the knife carefully before he went back to slicing onions, he was the only one who could cut them without his eyes watering, Carson was convinced it was because he was the only person with blue eyes in the house, she swore people with blue eyes had powers that they weren't showing to everyone else and this was one of them.

She shrugged, "I took them for me too. It's embarrassing not knowing how to cook at my big age."

Urban nodded, "At least you know it."

Carson cut her eyes at him, "Why you always got something to say to me?"

"Because it's funny making you mad." He took a bite of the apples he was slicing up. He wasn't cooking, just making margaritas for everyone.

They were all on a huge family vacation in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. After months of talking about the trip and weeks of planning the trip, they were finally on the trip. While they made dinner Carter, Ace's now girlfriend and Majesty had taken the kids down to the beach. "When's Majesty coming back?" Carson asked to no one in particular as she pushed past Urban.

"She's here!" Majesty announced, walking into the kitchen with Carter and the kids behind her.

Devyn ran into the kitchen, running right to Jack with cup of ice cream in her hand. He looked down at her and then at Majesty, "You took them to get ice cream?" He asked, picking her up and taking the ice cream from her hand.

Essence pulled herself into a chair at the table, setting her own cup of ice cream down with the help of Zaza. Majesty took a spoonful of her own ice cream, "You ask me dumb questions, Jack. Clearly we went and got ice cream."

Nemo sighed, "Why'd you get them ice cream when you knew we were making dinner?"

"It was Simone's idea, she wanted it." Majesty blamed it on Nemo's youngest child as she too sat at the table with her older sister.

"But I thought you were taking them to the beach?" Carson asked, grabbing a napkin and wetting it so she could wipe her daughters face.

Carter laughed, mostly to herself, "Who takes kids to the beach at night, Carson?"

"Y'all tricked me." She mumbled, as Jack helped Devyn eat some of her ice cream. "Jack, put the ice cream down. You're going to ruin her appetite."

"It's already ruined." He shrugged, eating some of the ice cream for himself. "Dev, did you know my favorite flavor was cotton candy?"

Devyn nodded quickly with a giggle, "Yes."

"Does that mean I can have the rest?" He then asked, looking down into the pretty full cup.

She tapped her chin, she had seen Carson do the same motion a thousand times, "Yeah. I'm full."

Jack nodded, "Great." He set her down and took some more ice cream. "I'll finish this and then finish dinner, thank you baby."

"Welcome!" She yelled at him before running off, back towards the living room where everyone else was.

He spit the ice cream he had in his mouth back into the cup, "I fucking hate cotton candy ice cream." He went and threw the cup away before turning around to get a glass of water.

Carson was just watching him, "Did you just trick her into giving up her ice cream?"

"Isn't that what you wanted me to do?" He took a long sip from his water.

"She doesn't know what she wants." Urban commented before starting the blender to drown out whatever Carson was about to say.

She rolled her eyes at him and set the knife down that she was holding, "I've done my helping for the week. I'm gonna go relax." She told Jack before leaving the kitchen and going to the living room where everyone else was.

They were all watching Barbershop. Carson sat down next to Deja, crossing her legs, "What did I miss?"

"Don't come in here talking," Ace was quick to shush Carson, "Shh."

"Boy, shut up." She looked back at Deja who was looking at jet ski rentals on her phone. "You tryna do that tomorrow?"

Deja nodded, "Yeah. You know how to drive one?"

Carson shook her head, "Nope but it's a good idea to rent a few. I'm sure the kids would like it."

"How much to rent..." She began counting the people in the room. "Eh, like 6?"

She handed Carson her phone so she could look at the price list for herself, "Looks like we have plans for tomorrow." Carson said as she scrolled through the prices, planning on stealing Urban's debit card to cover the costs since he decided on being mean to her while they made dinner.

She gave Deja her phone before looking at the TV, "Can we watch another movie?"

Shloob looked at her, "Carson don't start this."

"Start what?" She asked, pulling her sleeves up. "The only thing I want to start is a new movie."

"I hope Devyn grows up and is nothing like you." Dawoyne crossed his arms, nobody had moved to turn the movie up.

At the sound of her name Devyn looked up from a video she was watching on Carson's phone, she had learned the password months ago and grabbed it whenever she felt like watching videos on YouTube. Carson looked at her, "Dev, grab the remote for your mom." She smiled, pointing to the remote that was sitting on the table next to her.

"Don't use her!" Ace protested but Devyn had grabbed the remote and ran it over to Carson before leaving the living room. "You bitch." He mumbled at Carson as she turned the movie off.

Carson held onto Jack's life jacket as the jet ski pushed 75 MPH, "Jack!" She hit his back a few times, no longer wanting to be on the back of the jet ski.

Urban rode past the two of them on his own and Majesty wasn't too far behind him, screaming happily as she followed behind him. Jack slowed down after a few seconds, laughing as he leaned on the handlebars, "Stop yelling my name like that. We wasn't even going that fast."

She took a deep breath and shook her head, "Are you trying to kill me? I want to go back to the beach."

The sun hit him directly in the face so he squinted as he glanced back at her, "You want to drive it back?"

"No, I'm good." She held onto the straps of his vest and put her head on his back. "Just take me back."

"Whatever you say," He turned them around slowly, they were about ten minutes away from the shore. She enjoyed the slow ride that was until he accelerated again, Carson squeezed her eyes shut as she hit him again just because she couldn't do anything else.

The ten minute ride turned into a four minute ride. When he got them back to the beach she was quick to slide off, "I hate you."

"Bring me my kid." He smiled, sliding off the jet ski and falling back into the water to cool himself off. Devyn was already standing on the beach with her life jacket on, when she saw Carson get off she ran to meet her at the water.

"Me go?" She pointed at the jet ski that was floating in the water.

Carson took off her life jacket, "I dunno mamas. That's dangerous."

Hearing the word 'dangerous', Devyn smiled before shaking her head from side to side and going, "Ha Ha Ha Ha."

"You've been watching too much Lion King." Carson mumbled, picking her up and walking with her into the water. Jack was back on the jet ski so he extended his arms to take Devyn from Carson, "Go slow with her. I don't want her to fall in."

"She won't." He situated Devyn so she was sitting in front of him. He instructed her to hold on tightly to the handles and then he put his hands over hers as he started the engine again.

"Jack, I'm so serious. No more than like 15 MPH." She watched them, they had been teaching Devyn to swim but with them being in the ocean, she didn't trust the toddlers swimming skills at all. "And no racing with Urban."

He nodded, "Promise. No racing with Urban."

Carson watched as he turned the vehicle around and went further into the water with Devyn, she got out of the water and went to where Deja was laid out in the sand with Essence on the towel next to her. "Mommy,"Essence took off her Versace sunglasses. "My backs hot."

"Flip over and tan your stomach." Deja told her and her daughter nodded before putting the shades back on and flipping around so her stomach was towards the sun.

Carson sat down and crossed her legs, "Essie, don't you wanna ride the jet skis with one of your uncles?"

"I wanna tan like my mommy." She told Carson who just laughed quietly.

"Alright."

Jack and Carson laid in bed as they watched Nailed It, the amateur baking show on Netflix. "I feel like I would be able to win this show."

Carson glanced at Jack, "What makes you think you can bake?"

"I bake all the time," He furrowed his eyebrows. "I made you a cake just a few weeks ago."

"Jack..." She laughed. "It was a box mix. That takes no skill."

He sat up, "I had to add the eggs, milk, and everything. And then mix it to perfection, that's all skill."

She pursed her lips to keep herself from saying anything else, "Mhm. Alright."

He grabbed a pillow and hit her with it, her head flew back and hit the headboard. "Jack!" She grabbed the back of her head and pouted. "You play too damn much."

"And you doubt me too much. All you had to do was agree with me." He put the pillow in his lap and went back to watching the tv show, smiling to himself as Carson continued to rub the back of her head.

"Go to hell."

Their door opened and the couple both watched as their daughter came through, it wasn't fully closed so all she had to do was push on it. She had a small bag of hot fries in her hand as she made her way over to Jack's side of the bed.

Carson sighed, "Who gave you those?" She asked, watching as Jack picked her up and set her down in his lap.

"Tt Majesty." She said simply, pulling one of the chips from the bag and licking it. She then offered it to Jack who leaned forward and took a bite from it.

"It's too late for you to be eating chips, Devy." Carson reached over and took the chips from the toddlers hands. "You'll get them back during lunch tomorrow."

Devyn looked at Carson with wide eyes before looking at Jack, her light brown almost hazel eyes met his blue ones and he just shrugged which caused her to break down into a fit of tears. "Devyn," He put his hand on her back, "Don't cry."

Carson set the bag of chips on the nightstand, "Crying isn't going to make lunch come any faster." She then said. "I'm not falling for the tears this time."

"Carson, maybe-."

"No," She cut Jack off. "She can get the chips back during lunch tomorrow."

He nodded and squeezed Devyn's cheeks a few times, "Alright, stop the screaming. It's not working."

She opened her eyes and looked at Carson, she made a face before sliding out of the bed and running out of the room to find Majesty for another bag of chips. When she left Carson hit Jack across the back of his head, "Don't try and undermine my decisions in front of her like that."

"It's just chips. We're on vacation, let her live a little." He rubbed his head. "Damn, why you so heavy handed?"

"She doesn't need to eat right before going to bed, you know her doctor said that. And especially no hot chips." She pulled the covers up a little more, covering her legs.

"But you eat right before bed," He motioned to the bowl that was sitting on her nightstand, she had just finished a bowl of fruit a few minutes ago.

"I'm grown." She snatched the bag of chips and opened it, eating one before shaking her head. "She licked this one and put it back, nasty lil girl."

Majesty came into the room, when she saw Carson holding the bag of chips she crossed her arms, "Why'd you take the chips from my niece?"

"Why are you giving your niece junk food right before bed?" She asked right back, tossing the bag onto the nightstand.

"Exactly," Deja agreed, walking into the room behind Majesty. She went and crawled up on the bed, laying over Jack's extended legs. "She let Essence have a popsicle and I'm the one who had to clean it off of her. You know she gets messy when she eats stuff like that."

Majesty sighed, waving her hand at them, "Y'all need to loosen up. It's not like I'm giving them alcohol."

"Yeah, not yet." Deja mumbled, closing her eyes. "Go have your own kids and fill them with junk. Leave ours alone."

"You guys thought I was playin' around when I claimed the fun and rich auntie title." She pointed at them.

Jack laughed, "You're not rich."

"Boy, I make more money than you." She moved her finger from Carson and pointed it at Jack.

"One of my endorsements is worth more than what you make in a whole year. Stop lyin' to yourself." He moved the pillow off of his lap and put it behind his head.

Majesty rolled her eyes, "This is why nobody likes rappers. Always bragging and boasting about your riches. We don't care."

"You know you care, shut up." He smiled, resting his head on the pillow and closing his eyes.

She took a few steps back towards the door as Carson looked at her, "Why'd you come in here?"

"To give Devyn time to eat the second bag of chips I gave her!" She laughed loudly before stepping out of the room and shutting the door.

Carson quickly got out of the bed, "Majesty!"
