Prior to this Angel was in a good mood, she was excited for her first proper date with Cory and her dad promised to take her out for dinner the following day to catch up on things.

However, during the middle of her Biology lesson both herself and Cory were taken out of it and driven to a familiar house by Mrs Carter. Apparently Jordan had been pretending to be an elderly carer in order to get food and a roof to sleep under, this made the brunette mad as she hadn't been a better friend to the boy recently and could've helped prevent this from happening.

"And I thought she was joking when she said about the old ladies," Cory somewhat joked when Jordan walked out of the headmistresses house. Mandy's father had been staying with her recently and that was how she found out about Jordan's antics.

"This has got to stop, Jordan," Angle gently said.

She had tried to get in contact with the boy a few times after not seeing him in school, but she had been so busy with Cory and her new friendship with Naveed that she had essentially forgotten about the boy, which made her feel very guilty.

"I've spoken to social services, and they've finally agreed to place you in emergency foster care," Mrs Carter cut in once she noticed the disinterested face Jordan currently had, in actual fact the teen boy was extremely scared of being homeless but he hated troubling Cory and Angel as he cared about them both massively.

The younger Wilson brother mumbled out something about being happier looking after himself which made the three other people frown even more at his stubbornness.

"I don't believe you are happy out here on your own out here, without your friends, without Angel, without your brother. I think you're bored and scared and miserable, And I think if you don't get in this bloody car now, you're going to kick yourself!" The headmistress firmly stated. She had been hesitant towards the boy in the first place but she was now determined to put her students first over her own worries.

"I'm getting in t'front." Jordan mumbled after a few seconds silence.

This made everyone grin in happiness and for Angel to completely forgot she and Cory weren't together as she leaned up to him and pressed a kiss to his lips in delight. Both teens then awkwardly looked at each other in surprise at the brunettes actions but before Cory could say it was fine, Angel had speedily made her way into the back of Mrs Carter's car.

By the time that the four made it back to school, it was the end of the day, Mrs Carter had brought the Wilson boys into her office to speak more about Jordan's placement and Angel was about to make her way home, but not before Cory cheekily winked at the brunette and whispered to her that he would pick her up at six that evening for their date that he had planned.

The girl was about to rush home after that in order to get ready but was quickly stopped at reception by the new deputy headteacher, he informed Angel that she had to step into his office quickly and the girl reluctantly agreed, she wished she hadn't as once inside the small room sitting there was her mum.

"No." Angel bluntly stated before turning around to leave. She didn't want to speak to the horrid woman and especially in the presence of the new teacher who wasn't the nicest.

"I actually invited your mother here Angel, as your father's number didn't seem to go through, it's about your awful attendance and lacking attitude towards learning!" The teacher shouted.

This shut the brunette up quickly as she then sat down in the seat next to her mother and opposite the teacher, the meeting was essentially just a chance to make Angel feel bad about herself as both adults were telling her all the things she could improve on as well as the stuff she was poor at.

Once the teacher said the two women could leave, the brunette quickly stormed out of school with her mother not too far behind. Angel was even angrier than earlier on, but this time it was at the mother and not herself, she couldn't believe that the women could suddenly decide to start criticising her own daughter after walking on her.

"Don't you dare walk away from me young lady, you embarrassed me massively in there!" Claire fumed once she had harshly pulled Angel to a stop outside her car. The brunette wasn't exactly quiet when she was given criticism from the adults, this included snarky remarks and curses aimed at the woman.

"Oh like you walked away from me and dad, you're a crap mum," Angel screamed back whilst tears ran down her face, all she wanted to do now was get back to Cory and forget about all her crappy problems, it seemed like Angel wasn't the only one fed up with the situation as after another harsh dig form her daughter, Claire raised her manicured hand and slapped the brunette across her face.

The sound seemed to echo around the empty carpark and both women stood there in complete shock and silence. The mother had never hit her children and as soon as she did it Claire regretted it, she began to apologise to Angel but the brunette had already made her way away from her and went straight on her way to Cory's house.

Before Angel could overthink about her mother slapping her, she was at Cory's house, she quickly knocked on the door and once the boy opened it she pulled him into a deep hug, the teen quickly pulled her into him and placed a kiss on top of her head in recognition, it was a silent understanding as he knew something was wrong by how quiet she was being. Angel pulled away slightly to speak but was still in his arms.

"Cory, babe, please say this date involves alcohol because lord knows I need it."
