Missy Booth was well and truly milking the fact that she was pregnant. Her two best friends stood in front of her with unhappy faces with the girl's decision to drop out of school, but nothing they could do could convince her otherwise.

Even Mrs Carter and Miss Keane had turned up at the Booth household in order to get the girl to come back, but Missy was stubborn and she had her mind set on not coming back. Once the girls walked into school Angel ended up groaning once she had spotted the teacher that she didn't want to see, the deputy head of the school stood there with his grumpy face and once he saw Angel, he ushered her into his office.

They were supposed to have their meeting yesterday, but the teacher got pulled away and into an 'urgent' meeting so he rescheduled it for now instead as the girl had a free period. The older man lead the teenager into his office and the two quickly sat down, Angel had some sort of a clue on what this was about as the year twelves were due back their mock A-level results this week and a few people in her class have had a meeting with teachers if they've failed their subjects.

Angel was getting mentally prepared to hear that she had done awful in her mocks but the man slipped a piece of paper forward which proved her otherwise, 'AAA'. She had passed all of her subjects with flying colours, the girl was about to scream in happiness but the man's next words stopped her.

"Do you plan on telling me how you pulled this off, or do I need to look up the security tapes from the exam room?" The man harshly asked. Angel was confused for a moment at the teacher's words, but quickly realised what he thought she had done.

"I did not cheat on the test's!" Angel basically screamed to the teacher.

She was now extremely angry at the man's accusation as she had worked so hard to get those grades, both Naveed, Cory and sometimes even Riz had helped the girl study for the exams and she wasn't about to have some stuck up teacher tell her that all her hard work was a complete sham. The man glared at the girl when she raised his voice at him and just as he was about to comment on how she had gotten the grades, Angel beat him to it.

"You know what! I don't care anymore - I'm done!" Angel fumed as she stood up and grabbed her school bag. She had enough of people underestimating her abilities and her emotions were all over the place, so she did something stupid - She dropped out of the sixth form.

Lorraine, the school's secretary gave the girl pleading looks as the teen filled out the drop out application, but at this moment in time, she wasn't going to listen to anyone. She was lucky that she didn't bump into Nas or Cory as they would definitely say something to stop her from doing something so stupid, but the deputy head had been pushing her buttons since he arrived at Ackley Bridge and the girl finally snapped.

The brunette stormed her way home and got many strange looks from her neighbours when she kicked a plant pot outside her house in anger. After her little tantrum she finally realised what she had done, she was a hypocrite, not liking that Missy dropped out of school and then she goes and does the exact same thing.

As angry tears left the girls eyes she was so frustrated with herself that she didn't hear the knock on her front door, in fact she didn't notice the noise until she finally heard the front door open which puzzled the girl as her dad had just left to go abroad that morning and both Wilson brothers were supposed to be at school.

However, it did end up being one of the Wilson brothers, stood there with a disappointed face was her boyfriend and Mrs Carter, the brunette deeply sighed before guiding them both into her small living room.

"What happened?" Mrs Carter softly asked the girl, she smiled at how Cory was holding the girl's hand after he had whipped away the few tears she had let out before their arrival, she knew that they were good for one another.

"He said that I cheated on my exams, I just got so discouraged because I spent hours revising for them just to get it thrown back in my face," Angel mumbled referring to the deputy head. The blonde teacher frowned at her words as the man had no right to accuse the girl of cheating when he had no proof.

Mandy could also tell the girl was telling the truth as she had watched Angel herself study at both Lunch and after school, the women had seen a massive improvement in the girls attendance which was paying off as her teachers all were saying good things about the Evan's girl.

"We'll get this sorted Angel, just please come back to school," Mandy pleaded to the young girl.

Angel pondered for a moment as she knew she wanted to get back to learning, but the teacher had pushed back her confidence massively she felt like the girl who hated school at the beginning of the year - someone who she didn't want to be. The teen's boyfriend noticed the hesitant look on his girls face and gently moved her so she was looking straight into his eyes.

"I believe in you." Was all Cory simply stated.

Angel smiled at the boy before nodding, some may call her weak for having to have someone to reassure her all the time, but without the tiny pushes from her family and friends, the brunette wouldn't be where she was today - which was happy. The headmistress gave both teens a lift back to school and she couldn't help but giggle at the girl who was growing on the women.

Angel had called shotgun and whilst sat up front in the nice car found some expensive looking sunglasses which she posed in the mirror with when she thought no one was paying attention to her.

Once the trio was at school, Cory gave his girlfriend a goodbye kiss before she went and re-enrolled into school, she felt slightly stupid when she walked past the deputy head who stood there with a smirk on his face, but Angel quickly composed herself and smirked right back at the man.

The rest of the rather eventful day went somewhat quickly, that was until Angel was about to head back home but she got an 'SOS BRING ICECREAM' text from Nas. The brunette did as she was told and quickly made her way to the Paracha household, once letting herself in Mrs Paracha gave the girl a quick hug and handed her a cup of tea before leaving her with the two other best friends.

Missy lay on the sofa with bloodshot eyes which broke the girl's heart. Angel nearly cried when Missy told the girl what had happened, not because she was sad, but because her best friend was in so much emotional pain, Missy ended up aborting the baby as she realised it wasn't what she wanted, the blonde wanted to go to university just like her two best friends - which the girls were fully supportive of her choices just like they always are.

"I'm going back to school," Missy mumbled sadly. She wasn't upset over going back into education, it's that Aaron had broken up with her after the whole ordeal which broke the older Booth sisters heart.

"Me too," Angel embarrassingly replied, this seemed to get a small smile from Missy as Angel had told them about her inconvenient five minutes of dropping out of school.

"I just wanna try this time, the baby, what I did I'm scared, scared of trying, scared of mucking it all up."

This statement seemed to sum up most of the teenagers lives right now, everybody was scared of their future, but sometimes, success is not final, failure is not fatal. It is the courage to continue that counts - or something like that as Angel remembered what Miss Keane had once told her.
