"𝐈 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮."

Cory groaned as he stared at his reflection in the mirror. He had been repeating those three words for the last ten minutes now and imagining that he was talking to his girlfriend instead of himself. Unknown to the teen boy, however, was that his younger brother had been watching and filming his embarrassing confession the whole time.

Jordan was still recording his brother in the mirror when the front doorbell went, this caught the two brothers attentions which also prompted Cory to see what his younger brother was doing. This made Jordan swear under his breath at being caught and made him run down the stairs, the older Wilson brother quickly sprinted after him in hopes of deleting the awkward video of himself but the teen boy was too quick as he was already out the back door once Cory was downstairs.

"Is anyone going to let me in?" Angel shouted from outside the Wilson household. She had been waiting in the cold for what felt like hours but in reality, it was only a few minutes. Cory quickly went to open the door and once he saw his girlfriend's beautiful face he grinned and pulled her into a hug, the brunette gladly accepted his gesture and instantly threw her arms around the boys larger frame.

Angel giggled as her boyfriend began to litter kisses around her face. The two eventually pulled away from each other and headed out for breakfast before school like they had planned. This had become somewhat a tradition between the two since they had started dating a few months ago, they would both somehow wake up early on a Friday morning and go and get some food at the local cafe before school started for the day.

Once the couple had made the short walk to the small shop they both sat down and ordered their usual, the only real reason why they liked the rundown cafe was that it was extremely cheap, also it was a place where they wouldn't have any interruptions from anyone they knew due to it being so early in the morning.

One thing that Angel did notice that was different this morning was that Cory was unusually quiet, he was also restless and kept on playing with the salt dispenser instead of looking at his girlfriend.

"Cory, babe you okay?" Angel questioned him whilst placing a gentle hand on top of his. She was always considerate towards the teen boy as she knew what a hard piece of work his dad was and also the fathers violence tendencies towards his two sons - especially Jordan.

Cory sighed slightly as he had a very inner conflict going on, on the one hand, he wanted to tell Angel about how he truly loved her, but on the other, his teenage brain wanted to keep up his reputation of being a ladies man. But in the end, his hearts want's overpowered his jumbled up heads thoughts.

"I want you today, tomorrow, next week and for the rest of my life, making memories with you is my favourite thing to do," The teen boy started, Angel sat there in shock as it was one of the first times over their months in their relationship that Cory was opening up about his feelings.

"I love you, Angel Evans." Cory gushed. His heart sunk when his girlfriend sat there in silence for a few seconds before a massive grin overtook her features, she quickly launched herself over to her boyfriend's lap and pulled him into a huge bear hug. The boy laughed into Angels hair at her reaction to his confession and what he didn't expect was for her to reply to it so soon.

"I love you too, Cory Wilson."

Both the teenager's grins didn't leave their faces for the whole day, not when they walked to school, or when they both got detention from Mr Bell for being late to their first period. After declaring their true feelings to each other it seemed like nothing could put the couple in a bad mood.

However, this was until Angel was just finishing up in the toilet stall at lunch when a few year eleven girls walked in and started gossiping about one of her best friend's. The main voice of the group of girls was no one other than Chloe Voyle - also known as Miss Keanes daughter and the girl that Cory used to get to go on the date with Angel.

"That Missy girl is such a skank, I heard that she sleeps with anyone!" Chloe fumed. The girl had hated the older teen ever since she joined the new school, she thought that by causing drama within the school that she would attract the attention of her mother who seemed more interested in the Booth sisters than her own daughter.

But instead of getting angry at the younger girl, Angel decided to be the bigger person and walk straight out of the bathroom stall whilst ignoring them, this attracted the attention of the group of fifteen-year-olds as they all suddenly went quiet after being caught gossiping about the girl's best friend. This non-existent reaction from Angel only seemed to infuriate Chloe more as she began to carry on bashing the girl who's close friend stood only just beside her.

"Yeah, she's a total bitch, even her own mum didn't want her." Chloe smirked as she remembered what her mother had told her about the Booth's family's home situation. This made the brunette pause from paper drying her hands and slowly turn round to the younger girl.

Her face was void of emotion which seemed to scare the teacher's daughter as when Angel took a step towards her, the teen took one step back. This carried on until Chloe's back was pressed against the bathroom's wall and Angel was centimetres away from her face.

"If you talk about my best friend one more time, I will make your death look like an accident."
