𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 '𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫' 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐢𝐧 𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥 𝐬𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠. Last night Cory had messaged Riz and fake apologised to the boy which meant the two best friends were now on good terms, this also meant the Wilson boy's plan could now be in action. Luckily for him, he shared his biology class with both Riz and Angel, which all three were sitting in right now.

"So I asked a girl out tonight," Cory loudly lied. He wanted Angel to hear as well who sat one-row in front of him. His plan to get the girl back wasn't one of the smartest ideas, but it's all he could come up with without consulting anyone about it. Riz proudly patted his best friend on the back in reply, both in happiness for the boy pulling, and relief that Cory wasn't mad about him taking out Angel.

"She's pretty shy, you don't mind us tagging along with you two to the rec later do you?" Cory smirked. This made Angel quickly spin around in her chair to the conversation she had been eavesdropping on and was about to say a loud 'Yes I do mind' but Riz beat her to reply.

"Yeah, that's fine," Riz cockily replied as he knew Cory still wasn't over the girl and he was going to get great pleasure in making his best friend jealous and annoyed once he got off with the brunette later on at the rec. It seemed like Angel was irrelevant in this conversation as much as she tried to decline Cory tagging along on their date, neither of the boys would listen, they only glared or smirked at each other for the rest of the lesson, which Angel thought was extremely odd.

The school day seemed to go pretty quickly to Angel's dismay, she wanted enough time to mentally prepare herself for tonight, and that's why she wasn't exactly listening to Missy's ranting as the three best friends talked outside school.

"Slugs mating. Uh, the most disgusting thing I've ever seen. I can send you the link if you like," Missy babbled on to the two girls, however, once she noticed that neither of the teens had replied to her and were too focused on their relationship problems she huffed and carried on.

"I know what you two need. A rebound date, Need to get you a new girlfriend and you a new boyfriend," The blonde declared as she pointed to both girls. Nas's teacher that she had kissed last year rejected the student and the teen had been in a mopey mood all day, both girls also still didn't know about Angels date with Riz Nawaz later on tonight.

"I'll call you guys later tonight, I promised Jordan I'd watch him play rugby," Angel happily replied once the bell went as she could now get out of the awkward conversation between the two girls. The trio all soon said their goodbyes and the brunette made her way to the field that lay just behind the school.

Angel was confused as to why Jordan would ask her to watch him play a sport that she knew he hated, but she didn't comment on the strange request. However, in actual fact it was all apart of Cory's idiotic plan to get Angel back, he had paid Jordan twenty quid to get the girl to come which meant he could try and impress the Angel with his amazing rugby skills that he didn't know if he had or not.

The trial game had ended up starting very badly, one of the boys who had come from the other school and really had it out for Jordan had great fun in tackling him to the ground at any chance he got. This violence towards her best friend made Angel flinch whenever she saw Jordan get hit or smacked but there was nothing she could do about it as it was all apart of the game.

Throughout the tournament both Cory and Riz were trying their hardest to impress the girl who was sitting alone on the stands, however instead of Angel's attention being on the boy who was taking her out tonight, it was dead set on the boy who had betrayed her. Angel hadn't been able to get Cory out of her head for the last few days and it had seriously started to get on her nerves as she thought she was over him.

Luckily the training had finished quite quickly which was why Angel now waited at the gates for the boys to change. But unluckily for Cory it was now that he realised he hadn't actually asked a girl out to join in on the 'double date'.

"Oi, You all right London, You enjoy the game?" Cory asked the girl who was in the year below him once he had spotted her. He wanted to pick someone easy that he could blow off and Miss Keane's daughter seemed like an easy target. Chloe had a hard time fitting in with her new school after living in London with her dad since she was born, this meant that the teen was up to anything to try and fit in.

"I didn't see it. I was in detention." Chloe nervously giggled. This annoyed Cory to no end as he loved how confident Angel was around him, but he flirted along with the girl anyway so his plan would work.

"You wanna go out tonight?" Cory suggested, getting straight to the point. The younger girl almost immediately agreed to the teen's request, the two then exchanged numbers before both heading their separate ways in order to get ready for their double date.

Angel had changed into her spare clothes in the girl's bathroom when the boys were warming up, this meant that the date could start as soon as possible, and in Angels case - end as soon as possible as well.

"You ready to go?" Riz stuttered slighlty once he had found Angel waiting outside the school gates. The girl nodded before standing up from the bench she had been sitting on and pulling on her jacket to keep her warm, just before the two left there was a loud, obnoxious cough heard from behind the two. Angel slowly closed her eyes in annoyance and turned around as she knew that sound from anywhere.

"You forgetting about us?" Cory snickered. Angel opened her eyes to see the teen boy standing there with his arm wrapped around Chloe. Angel smirked right back at the boy she liked and grabbed Riz's arm to throw around her shoulders, 'two can play at this game' Angel thought to herself.

The four teens walked in an awkward silence until they got a few minutes away from the rec, that was when Angel got a phone call from Missy. She quickly excused herself and said she'd meet the three there in a couple of minutes.

"Yeah, Missy?" Angel huffed down the phone whilst leaning against a nearby wall, she was not having a good time as the whole way to the park, Chloe had been giving the teen dirty looks, it was mainly due to Cory paying no attention to the younger girl as his full concentration was on Angel and how Riz's arm was rigidly placed around her small frame.

"You wanna go out with me and Nas tonight?" The blonde questioned. The teen purposely left out the details about going to the gay bar as she knew going clubbing wasn't really Angel's style.

The brunette pondered for a moment as this could be an excuse to leave the awful date, but what stopped her from replying was the sudden hand taking her phone from her grasp and pressing the 'end call' button. The teen girl quickly looked up to see who the culprit was and it was no one other than Cory Wilson. He had trapped the girl between his body and the wall and Angel could feel his warm breath on her face.

"What do you want Cory?" Angel barely whispered.

It had been too long since she had been this close to the him and because she had really missed him she didn't bother pushing him away and just by looking into his eyes she could feel herself forgiving him for trying to sleep with her best friend.

"Give me a second chance babe," The boy softly replied as he gently ran his nose up and down the girl's neck, Angel closed her eyes in bliss and her rational thoughts had gone out the window as she slightly nodded her head at Cory's question. Even though she hated feeling this weak around him, she also loved that he still wanted to be with her like she did with him.

"But, like properly this time," The boy added. This made Angel peak her eyes open as she was confused on what the boy meant.

Cory looked into the girl's eyes so intently that he felt like he could see his whole future ahead of him, he wanted to be with Angel long term and being apart from her for just a week had made him realise how badly he had messed up - Cory wanted to be with the brunette badly.

"Angel, will you be my girlfriend?"
