Angel, Nas and Missy, three best friends who were joined at the hip. Wherever one was the other two weren't far behind and it had been like that for several years now. They were all currently at their usual hangout spot which consisted of an old worn out sofa that had been dumped into a skip and was never taken away.

But to the trio girls, it was their favourite place to watch the world go by - even if that was just the small mill town of Ackley Bridge in Yorkshire. Missy, the blonde and slightly ditzier of the group was babbling on about something her teacher said last year whilst Nas was correcting her as usual. Angel, however, was not paying attention as she was thinking about tomorrow.

Two schools from completely different backgrounds and ethnicities were to become one. She loved the fact that Nas would now be joining her and Missy's school, but Angel hated change. She hated that things weren't in a routine and that she had no control over what could happen over the next few months. Sighing deeply at the thought Angel decided to finally join in on the conversation between her two best friends.

"So, are you two looking forward to tomorrow?" Nas questioned whilst snuggling into her blue velvet coat more, the night had gotten chillier and the street lights had just started to illuminate the houses of the estate.

"Yeah. I kind of am." Missy confessed. Angel took another swing of the alcohol they had been drinking after humming in agreement to the blonde's reply. She didn't want to trouble the two girls over her fear of tomorrows events so Angel decided to drink away her anxiety and thankfully Missy went along with it too. Nas quickly caught onto the fact that the two girls were drunk as the plastic bottle they had just bought at the corner shop was nearly empty.

"Missy, Angel, are you two drunk?" Nas giggled.

The two intoxicated teens slowly looked at each other before both agreeing simultaneously with a slurred 'yeah'. The drunkenness and laughs of the night had put Angels racing mind at ease, this was one of the reasons why she loved both of her best friends, they could always put her in a good mood without even realising it, but as always, something has to spoil the mood and that evening it was Missy's inability to hold down a drink.

"I might be sick."
