chapter twenty three | no one's point of view.

"oh my gosh, i've missed you all so much," eileen says once she sees all of her friends pile out of the car.

it was finally the day her friends had came down to move to los angeles. the boys didn't move into their dorm until tomorrow, so they would be staying at eileen's, except for sam. he was staying at jessie and halle's apartment.

"holy shit. i missed your little weird ass," dylan says, coming up to pull her into a warm hug. they pull away and she smirks up at him.

"HEY," jessie exclaims, pulling eileen into a bear hug. she giggles and returns it, and soon halle comes in. "this is the longest we've ever been apart," halle points out and eileen nods, pulling away from her two friends.

"hey you," tristan says with a soft smile on his lips. eileen looks up and smiles at him before pulling him into a warm hug. it felt good. they hadn't seen each other in weeks.

"okay so what do you guys wanna do today?" eileen asks, once they're all seated in her apartment. her parents were gone at their house, seeing as eileen lived in the apartments next to them.

sam shrugs. "i need to go get a shit ton of stuff for my dorm today." jessie looks up and nods. "me and halle need to get stuff for apartment. why don't we all just meet up later tonight?" she asks and eileen shrugs, and so do the others. "alright, i'll see y'all later. be careful," dylan says, as sam, jessie and halle drive off. eileen looks towards the two dark haired boys and shrugs.

"we could go skating," tristan suggests. dylan nods, smirking over at eileen. "wanna see your ass eat shit," he teases. she laughs and shrugs. "i'm cool with it." they all hop in her car, starting to drive to the other side of town to the skateboarding park. this was the one aaron had taken her to yesterday, and she was familiar with it.

"so what's up with that aaron guy?" dylan asks, peaking over at eileen from his spot in the passengers seat. her cheeks heat up, and tristan doesn't miss it. "ooh, tell us," he encourages. eileen shrugs.

"nothing really to tell." dylan rolls his eyes and nudges her shoulder. "cut the crap, eileen. spill the tea."

she sighs. "me and ethan went to this party like two nights ago and they were there. you know how vinnie is, all rude and shit. he basically kicked me out of his room to talk to this girl. i'm pretty sure they used to talk," she quietly says. tristan groans. "dude, he's such a piece of shit. he acts like his shit don't stink. i don't like him." dylan furrows his eyebrows. "what does that have to do with aaron?" "well, after he kicked me out, i was gonna leave, but aaron stopped me. asked me to get in n out. and we just hung out. then we went skating yesterday. it was fun. i swear, y'all would love him, he's so fucking funny," she gushes.

"yeah, he seems funny. from his tik toks," tristan agrees. dylan nods. "seems like a cool guy."

"eileen i love you, but you look like a fucking idiot," dylan wheezes, practically falling over in laughter. eileen gets up from the the ground and dusts off the dirt off of her pants. she just busted her ass, but she wasn't embarrassed. she was having fun. she loved dylan and tristan with her whole heart. just being here with them was enough to make her the happiest girl alive.

"hey is that eileen?" troy asks. aaron and vinnie's head both snap up at the mention of her name. aaron grins at the girl who was across the park, goofing off with her friends. vinnie looks over and softly smiles. he's about to head forward, when he sees aaron halfway there, already walking towards her.

his eyebrows crinkle up and his mouth widens. he looks over at troy confused, and he just makes a weird face and shrugs it off.

"oh my god, is that eileen parker?" she hears from behind her. she turns around and sees aaron walking towards her with a grin on his face. her cheeks warm up and she feels butterflies appear in her stomach. she was so fixated on aaron, she didn't even see troy and vinnie walking behind them, moving to greet her.

"aaron," she exclaims, moving forwards and pulling him into a quick side hug. "what you doing here?" he questions, looking at the board in her hands. she looks over, and sees dylan and tristan both looking at the pair with goofy grins.

"um, these are my hometown friends. they just moved up here, and they wanted to come skate," she explains. he nods, looking towards the boys with a grin. "what up, i'm aaron." dylan smirks. "i'm dylan." tristan laughs. "tristan."

"you guys skate often?" aaron asks. dylan shrugs. "i just started. tristan is a boss at it though," he says, pointing towards his best friend. tristan smirks and shrugs. "what can i say?" aaron laughs, and before eileen can also ask him what he's doing here, she feels a tap on her shoulder.

she turns around, and she's stunned to see vinnie standing in front of her with a sheepish, small grin on his face. she looks over him for a moment, and he's shirtless, and he has brown pants on. he has white shoes on and a beanie on, and she couldn't deny he looked cute.

but she also couldn't deny how badly he had hurt her feelings the other night. he had acted like she was some random girl. and it also pissed her off he had just texted her sorry. it's like he didn't understand that what he did was shitty.

she just settles on a small wave and a close mouthed smile before turning back to listen to aaron, tristan and dylan's conversation. vinnie looks at her back in confusion, and he just sighs before moving to stand by troy, who was skating around.

"so what's up with you guys?" vinnie tries to ask aaron in a nonsuspicious way. he had left eileen's side after her and her friends left. he had spent about twenty minutes just with her and dylan and tristan. vinnie wanted so badly to come over and talk to her. he just didn't know what to say. and vinnie just had to ask aaron.

aaron looks up at vinnie and just shrugs. "eileen?" vinnie nods. "just friends, dude. she's so funny though. she's really cool, but this is like my third time hanging out with her, so i dunno."

vinnie didn't know what to take that as. did he mean it was to early to tell? or that he didn't like her like that?

he didn't know and it sucked.
