➸ You set down Suki in the bassinet and sigh in relief when he stays asleep. "Katsuki.." you whisper and he hums from folding the freshly washed laundry on the bed, filled with baby clothes and bibs. "I'm going to take a shower, he should be—"

"Sweetheart I know, go take a shower." he finishes the last of it and walks to you to press a kiss on your forehead.

You nod and grab your towel but not until you get another look at the peacefully sleeping baby that was looking more and more like Bakugou everyday. "Don't do anything cute until I come back." you whisper and walk into the bathroom.

Since joining parenthood Mitsuki and Masaru would come by everyday for a few hours to spend time with their first grandchild. They offered help but would let you two also figure stuff out on your own, it made you both thankful that they weren't the overbearing grandparents trying to take over completely. 

Bakugou loved being a father already and would often stay up late nights when Suki couldn't sleep. Suki was the center of both of your worlds and you two wouldn't have it any other way. Cecelia loved being an aunt and was even more ready to have her baby so the two could become best friends.

You take a nice shower and pamper yourself since you didn't have much time alone. You glide the jade roller across your face and look down when your phone starts to vibrate, it was Izuku.

"Izuku?—"

"The baby is on the way! Meet us at the hospital!"

Your heart drops and a sudden panic came over you, maybe flashbacks of your own delivery and how much Cece must be in pain. You cut the spa session short and begin to get dressed, "Katsuki, we have to go to the hospital." you say while he was putting Suki's clothes away in his room.

"Why? What happened?" he hurries back into the room and looks at his son who had yet to move, "Is he—"

"Cecelia is in labor."

Bakugou carries Suki in a carseat and you see Mina with Eijirou already sitting outside the room, "How is she?" you ask.

Before anyone could answer Izuku comes out, "She wants you to be in here y/n."

Your eyes widen at the request, "Me?" you question and he nods. "Ok." you look over at Bakugou and give him a kiss then Suki.

When walking into the room Cece had a smile on her face, "y/n! Ow– thank you!" she breaths in relief and grabs onto your hand for support.

The doctor looks at the machine that had Cecelia and the baby's heartbeat. You notice and squeeze her hand, "Is something wrong..?" you ask and they look at Cecelia with a serious expression.

"The baby's heartbeat is decelerating, we have to do an emergency c-section to ensure it doesn't stop all together."

The words made your heart drop and you look down at Cece, she was in shock and started to cry. "Izuku I'm so sorry." she looks up at him and he was quick to comfort her, "I'm so sorry." she repeats.

The doctors were quick to move and Izuku was following as they transferred her. "There's nothing to be sorry about because everything will be just fine." he looks back at you and wipes a few tears of his own. "Right?"

You snap out of your thoughts and nod, "Of course.." you never knew that Cece would be put in this situation and wished that you could do more than just sit around waiting. "I'll be right here." you promise the couple. They both went further down the hall and you turned around to everyone watching with worried expressions.

"Uh.. the baby.. her heartbeat was decelerating so– they have to do a c-section." you struggle to say without getting choked up and Bakugou stands up to hug you. "You should've seen the look on their face.. so broken." you whisper and hold him close.

Mina who was cradling Suki in her arms looks at you, "Cecelia is so strong, I know it'll all be ok."

Over half an hour later Izuku walks down the hallway, looking defeated. "Francesca is ok.. she's in the nursery right now." he smiles weakly and soon sits down in a chair, crying into his hands.

"W-what about Cece.." you ask and feel your chest start to get heavy, "Where is she Izuku?"

He stops crying for a minute and wipes his eyes that were starting to swell from his endless stream of tears, "S-she lost a lot of blood and had went unconscious just as the baby was safely out.." he hiccups and Bakugou looks at his friend while trying to fight back tears of his own.

"I had to leave so that they could help her.." you hug him tightly and everyone joins in to comfort him. "There was so much blood and she was just laying there.. smiling as her eyes closed. She didn't even get to look at her, just listened to her cries." he felt as if it was his worse nightmare and hoped to wake up soon.

"But the baby.. she's so beautiful like her mother."
