𝐒𝐎𝐅𝐈𝐀𝐒 𝐏𝐎𝐕:

I made it to the school and walked into class. My registration teacher waved at me. "Right on time miss Perez." I smiled as I saw Isabelle give me a slight wave. I waved back at her after I took my seat next to Akio.

Akio was the dude that I had to sit next to because that was the seating plan. He told me that he was Vietnamese and Filipino at the start of 8th grade when I first met him. He had black shaggy hair that covered his silver eyes and skin as soft as silk. He normally wore a black or navy blue hoodie and the bottoms differ.

"Hey Sof". He said groaning.

"What's up with you?" I say rolling my eyes sarcastically. He closes his eyes and speaks again.

"Family problems." He says rubbing his forehead.

"Is everything okay?" I say looking at him concerned.

"No everything's fine I just can't be asked to put up with their bullshit today." He says slamming his head on the table

"That sucks." I say turning back to my bag.

Our registration teacher, Mr Wilson cleared his throat as he began to call the register
Akio...
Damion...
Gabriella...
Kiyana...
Jamal...
Samuel...

The names began to go quieter as I start to daydream. Questions to pile up in my brain like a waterfall. 'What if you had caught him?' 'what if he never told you?' 'who was the girl he cheated on me with?' 'did I do something wrong?'

"Sofia. Are you alright?" I heard The boy say as he nudged my arm.

"Mr Wilson called your name like 3 times."

"Oh uh... Here!" I say embarrassed.

The bell rang as I waited for Esther and Isabelle to get out of their seats. "I feel like falling." Esther says and she rubs her head.

"Good." I say sarcastically.

"That's rude Sofia." She blurted as she smacked my arm. Isabelle was one of those people who had strict parents. And by strict I mean no Phone until she finishes school. She didn't really understand me and Esthers humour and was considered a 'dry person' which I kinda agree on.

"Oh yeah I forgot to tell you guys Alex and me broke up" I say sighing.

"What?!" Esther says.

"But why?" Isabelle nagged.

"He had a one night stand with someone." I stuttered.

"That's son of a bi-" I cut her off as I reassured her that there were no hard feelings. Except there were. As the days go by I hate him even more. We would walk past each other and he would give the dirtiest looks. Sometimes I wish I could kick him where it hurts.

Isabelle and me had the same class which was good since I sit next to her but Esther had to part ways with us. We waved goodbye to her and Isabelle put her arm over my shoulder.

"Ugh I hate math." She says innocently.

"I couldn't tell" I say laughing.

"No seriously though. How does sir ask us how to find the nth term in the sequence 3,15,27,39,51,63 when he needs to use the calculator?" She says annoyed.

"If you keep on blabbering we are gonna be late to your favorite lesson." I say obviously joking. She rolled her eyes at me as we walked into class.

𝐅𝐀𝐒𝐓𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐃:

"And that's that. Everybody pack up and wait for the bell to ring." I put all of my equipment into the front pocket of my bag. This lesson was English. i had no one to speak too because none of my friends were In this class.

The bell rang and we all left our classes in a hurry considering it was a Friday. I walked outside of the school gates to see Nova and Alyssa already waiting outside for me "I haven't seen you in forever" Alyssa shreiked.

"For real school has been a nightmare without you" said Nova.

"I know you missed me" I winked at them. Because of how big the school is we all get split into houses. Every year there's a different theme for house names. For example last year was famous landmarks in the USA. Now it's landmarks in the UK.

"What time do Kayden and Brandon come out?" I say with a concerned look on my face.

"They come out at 3:30."

"Okay 4 minutes left then." I say quietly.

"Where are we going?" Asked Nova.

"I don't know actually." Said Alyssa confused.

"Oh yeah the boys said they have a surprise." She used her fingers as quotation marks on the last word.

After what seemed like forever the boys came out and we started walking. I didn't take that long to get to our destination but the boys took us to the beach. They said it was a nice picnic day because it was Friday. "this cake is really good by the way." I say as I take a small bite out of it.

"Also Romeo said he couldn't make it." Brandon blurted out.

Romeo finished school last year. He's 17 and we are all 16. We try to find times to hang out with him but it's not always guaranteed.

i was having a blast with them. "We should do this every week" Nova said while stuffing a strawberry in her mouth.

"If you wanna set it up im not stopping you" Brandon said quietly while rolling his eyes.

"Mhm im not doing this again. the only reason i did it was because Brandon forced me too" Kayden blurted out.

"I did not!" Brandon shreiked.

"Stop it your acting like girls" Nova exclaimed rolling her eyes. I laughed quietly as the breeze blew my hair into my face. All of a sudden memories of Alex started flooding back. I felt sick to my stomach just thinking about him. "I think I'm gonna head home now guys" I said.

"Okay see you on Monday!" Said Kayden. "Bye" said the group at different times.
