F/N STARED AT HER CRUMBLING PIECE OF CRYSTAL CREATION IN HER HAND AS IT FELL TO THE GROUND WITH A NOISE LIKE HOW GLASS WOULD. The woman let out a strangled noise before leaning her back against the wall, hoping that it would somehow move like it did.

Tears started to threaten to pour down her eyes before she shut them tightly, trying to ignore the stinging sensation in her fists.

She was scared, no doubt. And she did not know what to do.

'Help,' she thought, 'Help me. Help... Someone, help me.'

All she thought was the word 'help'. She begged for someone to be able to read her thoughts somehow and just teleport her back to her safe, comfortable home, where she could just read a book or drink tea.

At that moment was what her dream was about and yet she didn't realise it. The girl in her dream, it was her. She was begging for help like she was.

It was terrifying, too terrifying for her to think about that.

"Help..." she sobbed, creating a hissing noise as she breathed in through her clenched teeth.

But no one heard her.

The door was shut and no one was able to reach for her. She cried and cried and no one was there to get her. Oh, how she regretted leaving the place she called home.

F/n ended up sleeping there when the night came without her realising. Scared and helpless. Those were the only things she felt before and when she fell asleep. It was not nice, not at all.

She only woke up to the sounds of a human being talking.

There was someone talking.

Her eyes shot open.

F/n pressed her back against the wall even more and hugged her legs tightly, keeping her eyes shut as she waited for the voices to disappear. Though, it never seems to happen.

She inhaled a deep breath and shakily let it go, letting her eyes open slightly. After a few moments of thinking, she placed her hand on the ground and pushed herself up, reminding herself to stay quiet.

She carefully placed a foot down on the stairs, avoiding the creaking noise that it would've made if she wasn't careful enough. She made her way down slowly, taking a pause after every step she took.

The voices grew closer and closer and F/n was close to being able to hear whatever they're saying. But she stayed where she was, in the middle of the staircase as she heard footsteps.

The footsteps clearly indicated that the person, or people, was getting closer and closer to where she was. Panicking, F/n moved her head from side to side, finding nothing but the steps to either go up or down.

F/n stayed in position, ready to defend herself when needed. She did not know how strong the person could be or what weapon they had so she had to be extra careful.

"...I told you," the voice of a man reached her ears, causing her to freeze in fear.

"That's why I didn't," another man responded, voice louder and clearer to be heard than the previous one, "You were the one who told me to do it. If another person was to instruct me, I would've done it."

"You ungrateful brat!" the first spat, annoyance clear to be heard.

"Ungrateful brat?" the second repeated and was followed by a scoff, "Come on, you could've done better than that."

"Please, can we all just cooperate," a third man said, which made F/n furrowed her eyebrows in confusion, "We need to do this quickly."

Superiority was heard in the third man's voice so it wasn't surprising to her that the other two grew quiet. F/n waited for their footsteps to disappear before climbing further down the stairs.

Light started to show in the last few steps but she paused again, bending her body further down to see if she could take a glance at the place.

Unfortunately, her vision was covered by a large pillar and she needed to go further down if she wanted to.

Taking a deep breath, she concluded on what she was to do next.

F/n took a step on the next stair and stilled before placing her other foot down. She glanced back up, hoping to see no one behind her, which was what happened, much to her luck.

She leaned against the wall before placing another foot down sideways. There were approximately six more steps until she reached the ground until she heard another voice, causing her to stop dead in her tracks.

"I know you're there," a very flat and raspy man's voice claimed.

It turned quiet for a moment before another voice reached her ears.

"Yeah? So what about it?" the voice said, this time having to sound younger and sounded like the person was laying down.

"Eh," the first man said as F/n's grip on the staircase railing tightened, "What are you up to?"

"What's the catch?" the younger asked, his bluntness reminded her of a certain captain.

The elder laughed weirdly before responding, "Not much but I could really use a few jars."

The younger man scoffed and shuffling was heard after.

"Does it look like I have your desired alcoholic drink?" he sarcastically replied.

"Alright, keep your hair on," the first gave in and a scoff was heard from the other before it turned silent again.

An audible gulp was heard from the woman as she momentarily shut her eyes. She took a deep breath and exhaled softly before continuing her way down with high caution.

Each step she took was light but it never failed to make her think that she was being too noisy. There were three steps left before she skipped them and leaned against the nearest wall.

The two men talking earlier were on the other side of the archway she was leaning on. She inhaled and exhaled a breath before swallowing her fears and looking around the place.

The place looked like a prison or a dungeon of some sort and there were more cells ahead of F/n. But, thankfully, none looked like there was anyone living.

The two men started to converse again. Well, one did, the elder one as the younger of the two just responded with short, dry responses and sounded like he wasn't interested in whatever the old man was talking about.

F/n just slowly approached a cell and peeped in.

It was bland with only a few things inside. That included a mattress without sheets, a plank of wood held up with two chains on the wall, a sink and what looked like a toilet bowl.

F/n grimaced at the sight of the disapproving room, if that's what it's even called. She didn't want to get in there but she knew that she couldn't just stay out for one of the guards to spot her easily.

So she did, pinching her nose at that.

The stink was very much bothering her but there was nothing else she was to do. So she hesitantly sat on the corner and covered herself with her crystals for extra protection.

She leaned her head against the wall and waited as the time went by, already tired from just climbing down the stairs and avoiding people from talking. Hunger consumed her but she was to bear with it as there was no food to be seen.

The woman leaned her head against the dirty wall and closed her eyes, letting the sleep engulf her whole.
