THE PLACE WAS DARK AND SPOOKY AND F/N WAS SCARED. She wasn't too terrified but it was dark enough to scare her and to bring up the past traumas, the traumas she had in the dreams.

Her dream experiences were always so dark and hard to see. A shiver would always run down her spine whenever she experienced it and never did it feel like the one it would come up whenever she was with Levi.

F/n was crouching down on the ground, tears streaming down her eyes as she sobbed. Her shoulders violently shook as her breathing became unsteady. Her fists were tightly and subconsciously clenched.

She had been in that position for as long as she could remember. Cries, hiccups and sharp inhaling and exhaling of breaths were the only things to be heard in this room.

The room was fairly large, the bed sitting in the centre with elegant sheets and two doors, one on the wall to the left and one on the wall opposite of the bed. F/n didn't know where the doors would lead her to if she did go through.

There were three tables, one larger one and two others were bedside tables, each with individual drawers and unlit candles. The floor was wooden and there was a large window beside where she was crouching down.

She inhaled and exhaled in an attempt to calm her sobs down. Her eyes scanned the room, not knowing what to do in the strange place.

She did not know how she got here or how she could get out of here if she could, that is. But there might even be a possibility that she might not be able to leave the room.

She then thought about her friends. Were they coming for her? Were they trying to find out ways to help her? Do they know where she was?

There were so many questions in her head, none of which she could respond to. Her arms that were around her legs tightened, pushing her legs closer against her chest while burying her head in her knees.

She was wearing a thin and elegant piece of clothing. It was some sort of a dress, made of silk that exposed a lot of her arms and legs. Her long hair tickled her skin before she wiped her tears away quite roughly.

She shakily stood up, wanting to get out of this place and get back to the comfortableness of Hange's arms and perhaps even Levi's company. She had to get back to her friends and even people she considered family. She had to return home.

Her steps felt heavy and loud in the empty room, hand grazing on the metal handle before stopping when she heard muffled voices through the large wooden door.

They were the voices of two males, one sounding like he was angry and frustrated while the other sounded frantic and nervous. But aside from the two noises, there was nothing else.

"Find her. Find them. They are out there, I can feel it. I know they're out there," one claimed as he gave out orders.

"S-Sire... Empress Marie had passed a long time ago w-when giving birth to-"

"Quiet!" the first demanded, "I said what I said. Now do as I say or you shall receive a punishment."

"Yes, sire..."

F/n stood there, stunned. She did not understand a few words they were saying but she knew a few things they had said. The voice seemed familiar and yet still foreign for her to listen to.

Footsteps were what she heard next followed by silence. Just as F/n was about a voice spoke to her but when she turned around, there was nothing but thin air.

"Help."

A gasp she let out, body jolting abruptly upwards from her previous laying position on the white-sheeted bed. Her hand flew to her chest as her heart rattled against her chest, violently enough for her to feel it against her hand.

She was stunned, her eyes widened and her mind repeated the word over and over again.

Help.

One simple word and yet could set a loud alarm to many.

They sounded so desperate like they were trying to reach her but they couldn't. Like they were trying to explain further but they couldn't. And F/n just knew that it had something to do with the men she heard from outside the room.

F/n flinched hard when the door opened at the time she least expected it to. But to be fair, she did not know what to expect anymore. Levi walked in instead of Hange and she was quite confused, to say the least.

He carried a tray with a teapot and two cups before placing them down gently on the table beside her bed. A study table.

She watched as he poured the tea into each of the cups, taking both and giving her one before taking a sip from the one he kept for himself.

F/n observed the cup of tea in her hands, the lukewarm dark brown liquid with a few smaller-sized tea leaves. The liquid rippled at every movement she had, even when she tried to move less.

Levi observed her, eyes bloodshot and cheeks tinted. Her lips were apart and her mind seemed to be elsewhere. She had another dream, he concluded but he was not to pry unless she said something to him.

The woman blinked, trying to get rid of the sleepiness in her even after she jolted awake all of a sudden. That was the longest sleep she had had in a few days, having to mostly stay with Levi while drinking some tea.

Black tea as that was the first and the only tea she had ever tasted and when she did, she didn't know if there were any other drinks that were better than that.

Help.

The voice echoed through her mind again, snapping her away from her train of thought about her friends. It had caused her to look around the room despite Levi being there with her, watching this whole time.

Her eyebrows were furrowed and she seemed distracted. Her dream must be one of the worst ones then and Levi decided to speak up.

"What did you dream about?" he asked and she caught his eyes. But like every other time when they would meet, a shiver would always run down her spine, so anticipating and really nerve-wracking.

"Bad. Nightmare," she said, "Someone... someone talking. Two."

"You heard people talk?" Levi repeated.

"Yes," she confirmed, deciding to keep the desperate voice she heard a secret instead.

"What did you hear?" he asked, taking another sip of his tea.

There was a moment of silence and Levi took this quite harshly. She had never been so hesitant with him before, always telling him about everything and anything that-

F/n, on the other hand, was just thinking about whether or not she should listen and go to find the owner of the voice in her mind. It wasn't in her dream, she finally understood.

It was in her head and she was signalled to go. Wasn't it?

She did not know either but whatever it was, she had to speak to someone about it. To ask for their help and their opinion on this matter.

The only problem is: Who is the most suitable person to speak to?
