F/N STARED AT THEIR FIGURES AS THEIR SILHOUETTES GREW SMALLER AND SMALLER. She had failed. She failed to avenge Hange. She tried and yet she failed.

An agitating feeling grew in her, anger and frustration were written all over her face. Her breathing grew unsteady and her hand clenched so tightly that her knuckles turned as white as snow.

She smashed her hand on the tree she was hanging from in frustration, crystallising it in the process. Armin looked at her and saw her gritting her teeth in anger.

"F/n..."

"Don't stop!" Hannes shouted, "Get on your horses and chase them!"

The ground rumbled with the multiple horses galloping furiously under the red sky. The group raced to the three people they call traitors.

"I'm getting him back no matter what!" Hannes declared, "Even if it means trading my life for it!"

F/n inhaled a sharp intake of air and subconsciously clenched her hands as Mikasa guided the horse they were on behind them.

"He's not fast enough to escape! We'll catch up!" Jean said.

"This time, I won't hesitate," Mikasa muttered, "I swear I'll kill them both! And if Ymir gets in my way, that means she's asking for it too. No matter what it takes... I will!"

The galloping continued before soldiers started to fly towards the running figure of the Armoured Titan, slashing their ways to get Eren back only to fail miserably.

Mikasa flew towards the Titan, blinding Ymir in one eye and getting closer to Eren. Bertholdt then moved away and Reiner protected the pair with his hand covering them.

The girl hit the strong hand and she started to fall. The girl tried to use her ODM gear only to realise that it was malfunctioning. With eyes widened in alarm, F/n stood up on the horse she was not even guiding in the first place.

"F/n!" Armin shouted in panic, "Sit back down!"

But the woman didn't listen and instead used her crystal ability to walk on air. The crystals she left behind reached the ground without a shatter and the other soldiers watched her in surprise and slight admiration.

She raised her left hand and crystal shot towards Mikasa, shielding her before she fell to the ground. F/n landed on top of the crystal that held a shocked Mikasa inside.

Placing a hand on the thick protective layer, the crystal shattered and the girl was free. The anticipated reunion from the soldiers didn't come for the two females wasted no time in shooting back up after switching ODM gears.

F/n let the girl use her gear as she used her ability to reach Reiner's hand that was protectively covering Bertholdt and Eren.

"Quit it, Eren!" Bertolt shouted, "Don't struggle!"

"Good luck with that, Bertholdt," Jean said, "It's impossible to get him to calm down. He's the most irritating guy there is! I know better than anyone. I hate him as much as you do. So let's beat him up together. Why don't you come out of there?"

"Give him back, Bertholdt," Mikasa demanded.

"Oi, you're kidding, right? Bertholdt? Reiner?" Connie desperately asked, "This whole time, you've kept quiet and deceived us? That's so cruel!"

"Tell us it's all a lie, you two!" Sasha shouted.

"GIVE HIM BACK!" F/n shouted irritably, using the sharp ends of her crystals to cut the flesh parts of Reiner's hand which revealed the pair inside.

With wide eyes, the comrades stared at each other. The friendship they used to hold, was gone in a blink. The flesh of Reiner's hand grew back and the wall between them rose back.

"Oi, oi, oi... Do you think you can just keep running away?" Jean asked, anger bubbling inside her, "That's not going to happen! For three years, didn't we sleep under one roof as comrades through thick and thin?"

"Your odd sleeping positions were truly an art form, Bertholdt... After a while, we all looked forward to seeing your pose each morning and tried using it to predict the weather. But you..."

"You guys!" they heard a scream and they all turned to the owner of the raspy voice, "Get away from there! Unbelievable... What is Erwin thinking? He's leading a horde of Titans this way!"

F/n looked back, spotting the large group of Titans approaching them from the front with Erwin and a group of soldiers in the lead.

"You guys! Jump and get out of there!" Hannes shouted again and they all jumped off of Reiner's Titan.

"All soldiers disperse!" the commander commanded, "Get far away from the Titans!"

Just then, the armoured Titan slammed against the group of regular Titans at a fast speed, causing Historia to almost get blown away before Ymir saved her.

"What is this? Is this hell?"

"No, but it will be!" Erwin responded, using his horse to run towards the Titans, "All Soldiers, charge! The fate of humanity will be determined at this very moment! There is no future where humanity can inhabit these lands without Eren! We recover Eren and retreat immediately! Shinzou wo sasageyo!"

F/n, without hesitation and without knowing half of what Erwin had said, jumped and walked and created her crystal platforms simultaneously.

"F/n!" Connie shouted before noticing a certain female charging after her, "Mikasa!"

A scream that was let out by the scouts indicated that they were all following the opening Erwin had made. They rode on their horses while waiting for Eren to be revealed.

"It worked!" Jean announced, "His hands are gone!"

"Now's our chance!" Mikasa said.

"Oi, Mikasa? Can't you see all those Titans?" Jean asked in disbelief, "How do you plan on getting through that mess? You would slip through a horde of them."

"Advance!" the commander shouted, raising his sword with his right hand.

But a Titan bit his arm and brought him away from the group.

"Commander Erwin!"

"Advance!" he shouted again, "Eren is just ahead! Advance!"

"ERWIN!" F/n shouted and the heads of the soldiers shifted to her.

She was flying. Literally. She was flying with the help of her crystals to get to her friend, Erwin Smith. Creating sword-shaped crystals with sharp ends, she sliced the nape of the Titan and freed Erwin.

As he was falling, his eyes bored into hers. The time went slow as F/n created a barrier of crystal and surrounded the commander with it, preventing him from getting hurt from the fall.

F/n placed a hand on the crystal and it shattered, both of them then facing the soldiers who were surrounded by Titans.

The woman used her ability and shot Erwin towards the horde as he cut the restraints Eren had from Bertholdt with Mikasa catching the boy just in time.

"All soldiers retreat!"
