LEVI TOOK NOTE OF HOW HER POSTURE CHANGED INTO A STIFFER AND MORE FOCUSED ONE.Β F/n stepped forward and before Levi could say anything to stop her, she reached for the man's collar and forced him to face her.

"Hange," she said in a dark voice.

"Y-Yes... Section C-Commander is-"

"Where?" she demanded, shaking the man slightly in an attempt to get answers out of him.

"S-She-"

"Where?" she shouted, glaring at him with furious eyes.

"F/-"

"F/n," Erwin stepped in, gently placing a hand on her shoulder as he did the same to Jean, "We'll go to Hange now, okay? Calm yourself down."

F/n narrowed her eyes even more and the poor soldier gulped in fear before being harshly pushed back to the ground. The woman turned around and faced Erwin, unafraid of him anymore unlike their first encounter.

"Hange," she demanded, "Now."

Erwin gave her a nod, patting her shoulder in a calming way.

"Yes, we'll get to Hange now," he said before turning to a group of soldiers, "Prepare the horses and wagons. We'll see what we can do in this situation."

"Yes, sir!"

"Levi," Erwin called, turning to face him next, "Stay with her."

The captain said nothing, only nodding his head as the woman made her way to him. He, without making any physical contact, guided her to a wagon since she was still unable to ride a horse and neither was he.

F/n bit her bottom lip nervously as she constantly let those nervous thoughts go through her mind and fingers tuck behind her hair. Her hands clenched tightly together, feeling the wagon bounce as it rode on the uneven ground.

The whole ride was silent but it wasn't too awkward for the girl as she was too preoccupied with her thoughts and Pastor Nick had been silent ever since the discovery of her being 'Lady L/n' from the book.

Levi, on the other hand, was looking worriedly at F/n.

He had a theory. A theory that could possibly be the explanation of F/n's trigger. Every time she uses her power, it would involve her being in danger.

That was probably because he was less reluctant about her joining the other soldiers to find Hange but if his theory was irrelevant, it would be a deadly mission. So he was still reluctant about her being there with him.

The horse neighed before it stopped galloping. A tall figure settled himself down on the ground with the strong, courageous horse beside him.

F/n ran from the wagon and to the weak Section Commander who was lying on the ground, still as ever. She crouched down beside her, placing a hand on her forehead as she sniffled.

"Hange..." she whispered, "Wake up... I miss you."

As if hearing her soft and delicate voice, the older woman opened her eyes and the younger gasped in shock.

"Hange!" F/n exclaimed, wrapping her thin arms around the woman's neck.

She started crying, tears falling down her face and onto the top of the tall wall that had been protecting humanity for decades. The scientists weakly raised a hand and patted her back comfortingly as if to reassure her that everything was okay and that she was well.

Surely, F/n was not dumb enough to believe it.

"You made it, Commander Erwin!" Moblit greeted him.

"Is the situation here the same?" the commander asked.

"Yes, sir!"

"Good," he then faced back, "Deloy the lifts!"

"Hange!" Moblit shrieked when he felt a hand wrapped around his ankle.

"Moblit... Give me a map," she muttered out with much struggle as F/n stayed by her side, maintaining even a little physical contact as if to reassure her that she was not to vanish out of nowhere.

As the other soldiers transported the horses from one side of the wall to the other, Hange started explaining to the group that surrounded her and the map.

"It might be a long shot but there's a giant forest here. We should head straight for it. It's not like they have a way to hide the Armoured Titan's footprints but I think that's where they're headed."

"Why is that?" Erwin asked.

"It's a gamble but even if they have the strength to change into Titans, the other Titans outside the wall might still be a threat. Especially after all that fighting. They might not be as injured as Eren but I am sure they're exhausted. Like how Annie was out cold for a while."

"Let's say for now that their destination is somewhere outside of Wall Maria. Considering the distance they have to cover, we can assume they'll need to recover their stamina. Which means they'll want to rest somewhere where Titans are unable to reach them."

"At least until nightfall where Titans can't move," Hange finished her explanation.

Erwin nodded his head in agreement, exchanging a few words with the Section Commander before starting to give commands to the other soldiers.

F/n was still kneeling down beside her, head down as she stared at Hange's hand she had been holding onto the whole time. Hange let her play with her fingers a little before she started talking.

"F/n," she called, earning a small hum from the woman, "Will you be joining them or staying here?"

A question that was worth a million contemplations.

As she still wanted to stay with Hange, continuing the reunion with her after hearing the news, she wanted to go fight these Titans Hange and everyone else had been talking about.

She wanted to be a soldier but what she wanted more was revenge. She was to avenge her friend. That was what she would do.

"I... want to go," she declared, "I want to fight Titans. Like you and Levi and Erwin."

Hange felt herself grinning at the younger's words, placing a hand on her head and gently touching her h/c hair like how a mother would do to her child.

"Stay safe for me, okay?" she asked and F/n nodded, "Prevent from getting into any danger. Follow what Erwin says and never break command from him, all right? He knows best as a commander."

The woman nodded, eyes staring at Hange's face as if it was her last time seeing her.

"Okay."

F/n hopped onto the horse Mikasa was on, hugging her waist tightly with an expression of determination. No worry was seen in her eyes or on her face. Nothing but utter determination to kill those who hurt.

This was it. This was the first-ever time she was going to face a Titan. And, oh, how much Levi wished she was not to do anything careless.

"Don't do anything stupid," F/n recalled him saying and another wave of confidence got over her.

She had people to get back to now. Her people. Her friends. She could not at all fail this mission.

"We have until nightfall! If we reach the forest before nightfall, we might still make it in time!"

And the second the commander's voice was heard throughout the large area outside the wall, the horse galloped with all the power it had.

"Let's move!"
