alysia's pov

i parked the car, got out, and quickly ran around the front, reaching the passenger door for billie. she giggled as i reached my hand out for her's.

"so are you going to tell me what we're doing now?" she asked as i led her down the path.

"nope!" i said as i flashed her a grin.

she sighed dramatically. "darn."

the path split into two, the path on the right going up a hill. i lead billie up the path on the right. we walked up it for a few minutes before we reached the top. the end was a cliff. we walked to the edge and looked down.

there was a creek about fifteen feet below us. my parents used to take me and the twins here a lot. we'd come here, swim, and just... have fun.

"that looks... scary." billie mumbled.

i let go of her hand and stepped backwards, pulling my shirt over my head. "scary?"

she nodded, watching as i took off my shorts as well, leaving me in just my bra and underwear.

"it's not scary, baby." i laughed. "i've been doing jumping off of this since i was five."

she looked back down at the water then at me. "you're about to jump off of this?" she asked, looking at me like i was crazy.

"hell yeah i am." i smirked as i began to run towards the edge. i jumped up as i reached the end of the cliff, pulling my legs up to chest to cannonball into the water.

a few seconds later, i popped back up, looking up to see billie looking down at me from the top of the cliff.

"you're crazy!" she shouted, but even as she said this, she was pulling her shirt over her head.

after she took her shorts off, she jumped off the edge, landing a few feet away from me. she popped back up a few seconds. "that was fucking insane, holy shit!"

i laughed as she kept mumbling about how crazy that was. "did you like it?"

"it was so fun! would i do it again? probably not, but it was fun." she answered.

"fair enough, i guess." i laughed as i swam over to her. i put my hands on her shoulders. "hi."

"hi." she smiled.

"you're really pretty."

"thank you, angel." she grinned.

"you're welcome."

i backed up, laying back. "this one of the only reasons i love living here. it's the end of september, but the water still feels like it's the middle of summer."

"the water does feel pretty nice." billie agreed.

we continued to swim and just talk for a few hours, having the time of our lives. we had several water fights, which was admittedly a lot of fun. it was nice to just have a day like this.
