alysia's pov

i grabbed the two coffees i had ordered and made my way to dahlia's house, which was just a block down from the small coffee shop we worked at. i was there within the span of five minutes, kicking on the door.

she opened the door not even ten seconds after and smiled, taking her coffee in one of her hands, then embracing me in a quick hug. "okay, hi. come inside and then we can talk."

i walked in, both of us immediately going to her bedroom after she shut the front door. i sat on her bed, taking a sip of my coffee. "so you know how billie is a singer?"

"yes, you only talk about it all the time." she smirked.

my face flushed slightly. "do not. anyways, she's going on tour in," i checked the date on my phone: august 23rd. "in nineteen days."

she nodded. "that's great, but why are you telling me?"

"because," i dragged out. "i'm going to be her photographer!"

her face lit up, a large grin coming across it. "no way! you're kidding, right?!"

i shook my head. "i'm deadass."

she started bouncing in her place excitedly. "this is great! i'm so happy for you!"

"thank you! i'm so excited!"

"you'll also be meeting billie for the first time, like, in real life."

"i know," i smiled softly. "i'm more excited for that than anything."

she grinned and threw her hands in the air. "alysia's finally going to get a girlfriend!"

my face flushed slightly, for the second time within the past ten minutes. "shut up."

we continued talking for a bit before i went home. i quickly showered and a smile grew on my face when i noticed that i had a text message from bil.
