i walked downstairs and into the living room, where brendan and tyler were watching tv. i walked over to them and sat on the couch.

"can i talk to you guys for a second?" i asked.

brendan paused the tv and turned slightly to face me. "yeah, sure. what's up?"

"so billie is going on tour and they need a photographer. and well... um... she wants me to be the photographer." i rushed out.

they both grinned. "dude that's great!"

"are you gonna accept it?"

i looked between them. "you wouldn't be upset if i took it?"

tyler frowned and took my hand in his. "why would we be upset?"

i shifted slightly. "i don't know... i'd be away from home, traveling everywhere for over a month."

brendan took my other hand in his. "do you want to do this?"

"i mean... yeah."

"choose joy." he smiled. "if this is what makes you happy, then we'll be proud of you."

"we'll be proud of you as long as you do what you want to do and you do what makes you happy." tyler added.

i pouted. "i love you guys." i said, giving both of them a hug.

"we love you too." they said in unison.

"so are you gonna do it?" brendan asked.

i thought for a moment before nodding. "yeah."
