"I thought we had a session already, Asia." My therapist glared at me

"Yes, I know," I replied with a nod.

"You know you can leave now, don't you?" I knew I could leave, but I wasn't sure if I was ready to do so.

I wanted to tell her what I'd done because my therapist always told me that if I felt a way about anything, I should contact her and tell her, or I should share whatever I felt comfortable sharing.

"Is there anything you want to tell me, Asia?"

My therapist asked if I was ready to speak up, but I couldn't bring myself to do so. I've never liked admitting anything I've done, and I've never liked feeling bad even when I knew I was in the  wrong.

"I took advantage of a man two days ago." I let it all out

"You what?" she asked, taking in what I had just said before continuing to speak.

"I thought you told me you didn't do that anymore, Asia."

This wasn't the first time I'd done something similar in years. I made a promise to my therapist that I would never do it again. See there was a lot no one knew about me.

ever since I was a child, I've been diagnosed with a jealousy disorder called schizophrenia, which no one knew about except my family, who never wanted to tell anyone because they were embarrassed. I could control it at times and at other times i couldn't.

"I know, but this one was planned, and the worst part is that it was intended for someone else." To keep myself calm, i tapped my foot.

"Who was it intended for?" She raised her brows, becoming curious.

I then proceeded to tap my foot before speaking because I never felt comfortable saying what I had done because it sounded even worse coming out of my mouth.

"Pryce" I  said to her.

"Isn't Pryce your friend Aaliyah's boyfriend? You mentioned him to me once "she asked

"Ex friend remember," I said, nodding my head.

Aaliyah was always the center of attention, and everyone liked her because she was so sweet. She always had the better boyfriends and I hated that.

I always got her sloppy seconds, when she started dating Devin, I was furious. She had no idea I liked him, but I was jealous that she had him and I didn't.. let alone that she got pregnant by him, and I couldn't stand her for that.

I hated to admit it, but I was relieved to hear when she lost the baby because it gave me the opportunity to get to him since they were already broken up.

He didn't want anything to do with me, which hurt the most, and I ended up taking advantage of him one day.

It was as if whenever something came to mind, I had to do it. I had multiple thoughts about hurting Aaliyah. I knew I wouldn't be able to get to Pryce, so that night I took advantage of Antwan, someone I knew she loved as if they were family.

"I took advantage of one of their close friends," I admitted. I felt bad about it, but I had a great time doing it.

My therapist shook her head, disappointed. "I know you're disappointed, but I truly feel bad and don't know what to do, on the other hand, another part of me tells me to forget about it." I began by remembering how annoyed Antwan was when he discovered he was in my house.

I was used to getting disgusted looks, but this time it hurt. It almost never hurts, and I almost never feel bad. The entire world would soon discover that I was insane and had mental problems, and I don't think I was prepared for that."do you even like the guy?" she then asked

"Not at all," I said, shaking my head."I suggested that you tell him what happened," she said.

I looked at her as if she were more insane than I was. "and get killed?" "I don't think so, and I think he's already on to me."

"Asia, I want you to tell that man what happened because he deserves to know, and then I want you to return here to get the serious help you need"

"Yo they wildin in the comments, sum girl said I ain't shit & I had a baby on her," I laughed telling pryce , forgetting I was on the phone with my son.

   "I'll see you soon, Romelo man," I said as I prepared to hang up the phone as he waved bye. I was trying to keep it cool with his mama, she be wildin sometimes tho i gotta ignore it and keep it pushing.

"I seen that, they be feinin for you in the comments" Pryce responded with a laugh.

"I mean, who wouldn't be feinin when you look like this?"

       Aaliyah then came out all dressed up and yelled at me, "ant you are so damn loud!"

"Pryce, where is your girl going?" I joked starting up something to see if aaliyah would get mad.

      She grabbed whatever was nearby and threw it at me." you in Aaliyah's business?" pryce said "Don't do that," they both said laughing.

     I laughed at Pryce picking up the lingo from aaliyah, not going to lie shit was hilarious as fuck. The way they picked up each others lingo, it was some cute shit tho.

"nah seriously where you going?" pryce asked

"work" she mouthed

"dressed like that?"

"am i not grown.. last time i checked i was please WORRY about you." she said

"damn she told you pryce.. dont play with miss aaliyah gurl"

     Aaliyah had been working a lot lately, and i been hearing about her new job. Even tho we were down here and she was working she still managed to have time for us.

     Her new job seemed cool tho. You gotta love her for always wanting to help, I heard she was tutoring kids or some shit like that. I felt like job suited her well.

"Isn't it the tutoring job?" I just wanted to make sure I was on the right track."Yes, and I need to get out soon because I need to see Jasmine before I leave." she explained while adjusting her dress.

      I smacked my lips at the fact that I hadn't talked to Jasmine since that birthday party shit, and she was texting me constantly but i just ignored every message.

    If I was being quite honest, I'm not feeling it with her anymore after the texts she had sent me. It seemed more like she was focused on me having a kid more then me.

      I never entertained any type of bullshit, so when I knew how she felt exactly, I just stopped talking to her simple. She could take it up with another nigga, just not me.

"Antwan dont start" Aaliyah started

"mane i wasn't even finna say shit."

"talk to me nice, anyways im not even gonna be gone for that long. im off tomorrow anyways and the other days by the way, so ill be able to spend more time with yall before you guys head back to Georgia." she let us know

"Heard you," both Pryce and I said at the same time."Aye nigga, stop stealing my flow," I said as I bucked at him.

"watch out" he said back

         the fact that we would be returning back to Georgia so soon dont sit right with me.

     Once we get back we all gotta figure out where we were gonna settle down at, for me im willing to move closer to my son most def, but that'll mean i aint gone be able to see pryce and aaliyah as much, and I could handle my own without them but I knew I would miss having them close around.

       on the other hand pryce dont even know if he wanna move to texas or stay down in georgia. i had no clues on what him and Aaliyah plans were gonna be neither did i know mines but i gotta think on it real soon.

"im out, we also gotta go to some block cookout party tomorrow so im informing y'all before the both of you forget." she gave us a look before walking out the door

       Pryce and I exchanged glances. "Aye that's your girl," I said.

     "Mane, that's your best friend, you see, that attitude I been having to deal with"

"I haven't even noticed her attitude, you think she's could be pregnant?" I scrunched my brows

    My momma always told me that could be one of the reasons why a woman was so moody lately.

"Nah man I don't think so, I never even thought of that" Pryce says

"you ready for this baby to drop tho?" i asked him refering to the child he was having with melody

"Mane three more months and I'm a fucking father, isn't that crazy?" he replied still in surprise.

"Hell yeah that's crazy. you and aaliyah talk about if you was finna move down here, or you plan on staying in georgia?" i asked him

"nah, that's something we been brushing off on talking about, but I think she should move to Atlanta, even if I gotta move down here to be more closer"

"what about you? " he asked

"im debating on staying in atlanta or moving to north carolina you know to be closer to melo"

"moving closer gone make that amari girl be on yo ass even more," he laughed making me smack my lips together. That shit wasn't funny.

AALIYAH BROWN

      This was only my third day at this job, and I've enjoyed it to the point that I'm considering making it my full time job. "Bye, Aaliyah," said a student I tutored as they walked away, heading home with their mother.

     I waved back to them they were friendly here, which I loved. As I was getting ready to leave one of the kids i tutored was still there, this isn't the first time I've noticed this.

      I've been meaning to say something, but my mind kept returning to focusing on myself rather than everyone else like pryce always says, But that was who I was as a person I couldn't help it.

     I observed how she sat on the ground and tapped on the screen of her phone. I walked up to her and paused for a minute before speaking, I was figuring out what I was going to ask her.

"Are your parents on their way?" I asked Kylan

"Oh yeah," she said, raising her head up to look at me noticing that I was talking to her.

"Do you want me to wait with you?" I asked her."You don't have to actually" 

     Despite the fact that she said I didn't have to, I decided to stay and wait with her, since I just felt as if something wasn't right. As we waited for her parents we talked about some of her favorite things, I learned a little about her in one sitting.

     I told Pryce and Ant I wouldn't be gone for too long, so I started checking the time, noticing it was getting late and a parent should've arrived by now.

"Are they usually this late" I asked her

       She then looked at me as if she was trying to say something but couldn't find the right words. "It's getting late," I said to her.

      Her stomach began to growl, and I wondered if she had eaten yet. "Do you want something to eat?"

"kind of i only ate school food"" Wanna get some, I'll take you!" I questioned, and she gave me a thoughtful look."You don't have to, ms. Aaliyah"

"I want to kylan" I said.

      At first she hesitated but then considered it. She ended up following me to my car. I was going to take her to grab something to eat.

     When we arrived to the Wendy's. I let her pick whatever she wanted from off the menu. I didn't care how much it had costed as long as she ate something.

      As we sat in the car it was now 6:00 pm, kylan was just now finishing up her food. I had also gotten some food for Pryce, Ant, and myself because I was not going to be able to cook for them. 

      as i got ready to start the car back up i asked kylan " is there anywhere i could drop you off at?"

"back at the school"  she said

"why is that?" i asked because I was hoping she had a destination in mind for me to take her.

      She shrugged her shoulders and answered, "I don't really have anywhere to go."

      I immediately understood what she was trying to say.

     "Do you think you'd be safe going to my house?" I asked her

"Aaliyah, you've already done enough with the meal" she said, smiling.

        If I dropped her off back there I knew it wouldn't sit well with me, and I would be thinking about it all night.

    I didn't want her to be alone out there all alone. I wanted to help her . "You can stay with me, you'll be ok, and we could sort things out in the morning," I told her and she just nodded her head in agreement.

Before we walked back into my apartment, I told kylan that my boyfriend and his friend were both here, and that they were both good people to be around, so she wouldn't feel uncomfortable and would feel welcomed.

I unlocked my apartment door and the two of us came in. Both Pryce and Ant had a shocked expression on their faces seeing that I wasn't alone.

They didn't ask any questions and they just sat there waiting for me to say something. "Here's y'all's food" I said as I handed them the food I had brought.

I began introducing them to Kylan. "ant this is kylan, kylan this is ant"  I said, pointing over to him. She gave a small smile at him and he he nodded at her returning the small smile back.

"pryce this is kylan, kylan this is my boyfriend pryce" pryce waved at her and she waved back

Once I had got settled I had changed into some fresh nice set of clothes. I had handed kylan some blankets so that she could sleep on my couch.

"ole girl nah i get the big couch" ant said making a joke noticing that she was going to go over to the bigger couch.

"antwan please, kylan you can take the big coach do not listen to him." i told her and she laughed a little which made me smile, I loved that she was cracking a few smiles then and there.

It was becoming late, so we decided that we were going to talk about everything that had happened tomorrow.

I gave pryce and ant bits and parts of what had happened, but the rest would be told later.

I turned off the lights and returned to my room, where Pryce was also sleeping. The two of us quickly became comfortable, and before we knew it, we were fast asleep.
