I hear a knock on my door and I tell them to come in.

Leo walks in and nods at me. He sits next to me on my bed and looks at me.

I haven't felt like myself all day. Just the events of yesterday has me feeling off, but I want revenge. I want to find out who did it and caused this. Who is coming after me?

Leo promised me he would keep me updated. He has been quieter and nicer today. Definitely not like him.

"So um, we found out a name that could be related to who is doing this. The name of the organization is supposedly called "The mons". We're still finding out more info but I'll continue to keep you updated." He tells me and I say okay. Not really in the mood for talking but I appreciate that he is at least telling me.

"By the way," he clears his throat, "how's, uh, Bella doing? Any information from her?" He asks me and I raise my eyebrows in amusement.

"Why are you asking me about Bella?" I ask him and he shrugs in annoyance.

"No reason. Forget it." He grumbles and gets up to walk out but I say his name and He stops and turns around. I can see a little hurt within his eyes and a little redness rising to his cheeks. Why does he care about Bella now?

"She is doing okay. She still needs time but she doesn't hate us or blame us at all."

He nods as if saying thank you, and walks out.

Strange.

I hear the doorbell ring and I close my book. We're not expecting anyone.

I run downstairs and grab the first thing I see, a baseball bat from Leo's room.

I inch closer to the door as the person repeatedly pressing the doorbell. If I'm going to have to open the door, I have something to defend myself with.

I pull the door open and I'm about to throw the bat at whoever is in front of me until I feel someone pull my arm back and grab the bat. I look up and open my eyes and see James looming over me with a cold stare.Β

Oh jeez Luis-

I open my eyes more and look in front of me to see grandma laughing at what just happened.

Oh my god, I almost threw a bat at her.

She smiles and opens her arms wide, I run over and squeeze her tightly, and she returns it.

James softly putting the bat on a nearby table and walking out of the room in silence. I stay in the embrace of grandma as I take in the gravity of everything that happened yesterday finally. And I break down in her arms. Crying and it not stopping.

She is shocked by my sudden crying but quickly rubs my back in circles to try and calm me. She didn't ask any questions or say anything. And I'm glad, I needed this.

We finally separate and she smiles looking down at me and putting my hair out of my face. She then reaches out and grabs a tissue from a box and hands it to me. I take it and wipe my tears away while taking deep breaths,

"Let's go sit down on the sofa." She suggests and I nod following her and sitting down beside her.

"What's wrong sweetie?" She asks me concerned.

"So much has been happening. Random people have been after me, friends betraying friends, traitors, friends getting hurt because of me-"

"Not because of you. Because of the actions of the people who want to hurt you. Never blame yourself for this or else you will keep tearing yourself apart."

I think about what she said. If it's not my fault, then I need to find Who's fault it is. The sooner we find out who's behind this, then the faster everything stops.

Liam walks in and notices what's happening. But he doesn't say anything about it.

"Hey, Junior will be here and will watch you while we are gone to do some work. Yes grandmother I know you will say you can watch her, but Junior will be here just incase."

She rolls her eyes and grins at me jokingly. "Yeah yeah, that's what you sonny's say all the time. I'm not stupid, I know I'm old and you think I'm not capable of doing stuff by myself." She speaks to him while looking at me and chuckling, I laugh a little with her.

He doesn't know what to say so he just walks away in silence.

Grandma and I laugh a while more, talking about how funny his face looked and how cool she is. She told me a story about when she was younger and she first taught my father how to shoot. She said he was just like me, strong willed but kind of silent.

"He kept shooting and shooting. He started getting frustrated that he was missing every shot. He was stubborn child. Want to know what I told him?"

"Practice makes perfect?" I say and she laughs.

"Not exactly. I told him it's a slow process but quitting won't speed it up. And guess what?"

"What?"

"He took another shot and it hit the target. He was so happy. Of course he missed more and more after that but after awhile he became one of the best shots I know. As he grew up he became the strongest person I know. And every time I'm with you, you remind me of him." She smiles thinking about something and I feel butterflies in my stomach.

She thinks I'm a strong person? But she has it all twisted... I'm not a strong person, I'm afraid of basically everything.

She looks at me.

"Promise me, you'll take my advice that I gave your father and never give up no matter what."

I hesitate for a second thinking about how big making a promise is. Will I be able to keep it?

"I promise."

"You cheated. I saw you hide that plus four card underneath your leg. Nice try sista-"

"What plus four?" I raise my leg and point to nothing and he scoffs.

"I swear I saw you stuff something underneath your leg-" junior starts but I interrupt him,

"I think you might be seeing things. You should go get that checked out junior, I'm concerned for you-" I say looking at him with raised eyebrows.

"You brat. Next round I'm going to win, watch." He rolls his eyes and crosses his arms, I laugh.

The doorbell rings and I get up to go answer it but Junior gets up before me, rushing in front of me to open the door first.

He pushes me behind him and opens the door, us seeing my brothers standing there.

Oliver smiles and waves at me and I smile back. They all walk in but Leo. James said Leo got held back a little with work so he has to stay later.

"How was she?" James asks Junior as he shuts the door behind him.

"She was a total disaster." He says winking at me and I huff crossing my arms.

"Hey!-" I shout and he starts cracking up.

"She was okay. Though I'll give her some credit, she is definitely like Leo in some ways. They both are spoiled brats when it comes to playing games." He snorts and James laughs a little.

He looks over at me and back to Junior. "Where is my grandmother?" He asks and Junior smiles a bit

"Well let's just say she didn't last long. She knocked out as soon as you guys left the house." He chuckles and James grins, shaking his head.

"Well I'm glad you had fun." Oliver says suddenly, rubbing my hair intensely. Something he knows I hate.

"Well, let's go to my office, I have some important things to discuss with you about-"

The doorbell rings again stopping James. This time I want to answer it.

"It must be Leo. Can I get it, please?" I beg James and he sighs, giving in.

I walk up to the door and open it slightly, expecting to see Leo but not seeing a thing.

I look around until I spot a little envelope on the floor mat. I lean down onto my knees and pick it up, turning it around to see my name on it?

Who brought this?

My name is dark red, still kinda wet as if it was just written.

I run my fingers over the envelope and my name, but the feeling of it does not sit right with me...

Is this blood.

I screech and flinch back, dropping the envelope. Footsteps get closer behind me and I hear Liam as what's wrong. I turn around and stare at him in shock. He looks at me in confusion but looks down at my hands, noticing instantly the red liquid on my hands and his face grows dark.

He bends down and pulls me up, grabbing the envelope with his other hand. He closes the door and calls for everyone to come in the room.

We both sit down on the couch, and I hear voices stop talking as soon as they enter the room, footsteps pacing towards us and the feeling of confusion across the room.

"Who was at the door?" Liam asks me, coldly staring at me, trying to keep calm certainly.

"It's uh-" I swallow, " I have no idea. I-I didn't see anyone, just this letter on the floor... I haven't even opened it yet." I stutter and he nods silently, hurriedly ripping the thing open.

But I want to read it for myself. I mean, I want to be more involved. I want to know what it says. It does have my name on it which means I was meant to read it. A letter won't harm me.

I hope.

"Wait-" I shout putting my hand on the envelope and stopping him from opening it anymore. Everybody stares at me like I'm crazy or somethings wrong. I clear my throat, "maybe I should open it-"

"Out of the damn question." Liam retorted, not even considering it.

Oliver looks like he is having a internal fight and James is very frustrated, pacing back and forth slowly around the room.

I look up at Junior and pleading with my eyes, knowing that somehow, he'll understand where I'm coming from.

"Guys, maybe we should let her open it-"

"Why so?" James interrupts staring directly at Junior. He looks calm but angry at the same time.

"She wants to read it. And yes I know it's very sketchy and probably not a good idea but who knows what we'll find inside and if we will even understand it. It's directed for her, so whatever is inside is meant for her. I say let her open it." He pitches in and everybody thinks. Liam is obviously not okay with any of it, tapping his foot impatiently.

James looks at me for a moment and in that

Moment I see the love of family that I'm so grateful to have now. He stares at me for a few seconds, tapping his jaw until he looks away.

"Go ahead." James concludes and the tension in the room intensifies. Liam hands me the letter, he looks angry but says nothing. We need to open the letter either way so him complaining isn't going to do anyone any good.

I slowly open the envelope carefully, revealing a white piece of paper folded inside. I take a deep breath and proceed taking it out and unfolding it.

and what I read first is what takes the breath right out of me.

"Hey kimmy, miss me?"
