I haven't updated since last year and I apologise! Writer's block for my books has been so bad and I'm trying to get out of it! Also, enjoy whatever romance is left because the drama is coming 💀. You know what to do with the comments 🙈

Y/n Pov.

Mark: "Y/n, I need to talk to you..." He called out when I passed his office. I walked back and saw him and my mother in his office.

Y/n: "Uhm, sure?" I said, walking in.

Jennifer: "Close the door." I shut the double doors and turned around to look at them.

Y/n: "Okay, what's going on? The two of you have been on edge for two days now, and I want to know what's going on because, whatever it is, it's also affecting my life." I crossed my arms over my chest.

Mark: "We asked your uncle to help us out." I raised an eyebrow. "And after he did some digging, he decided that it would be best for us to travel to New York and sort this mess out. He said he couldn't explain it over the phone," he sighed.

Y/n: "I understand that, but I can't leave now. I have finals coming up and I'm graduating this year! I have to be here. How the hell did we even get mixed up in Nick's affairs?!" I saw them rub their temples.

Jennifer: "I know it's a difficult task, sweetheart, but we have to do it so we know what we're up against. He is in a messy situation and we can leave him to clean up the mess himself, but it's going to drag us all down unless we do it right now." I huffed, knowing she was right.

Y/n: "When are we leaving?" I asked, seeing my father sigh.

Mark: "We have to leave as soon as possible, so I've got a flight for us Monday night," I sighed, ducking my head down.

Jennifer: "I know it's hard, but we will be back before you know it and life will carry on the way it needs to. I already called your school and explained that we would be out of town for a while." I nodded.

Y/n: "I'm going to spend some time with my friends. I have to tell them I'm going to New York. I can't keep that from them," They exchanged looks and nodded.

Mark: "That's fine, just don't share too much." I walked out of the office and pulled out my phone.

___

Y/n.

Can we meet up? I have something to tell y'all.

Brandon 🍻💙

Sure, meet up at my place.

___

I saw the others send a thumbs up and grabbed my things, driving over to Brandon's house.

I knew explaining this to them would be difficult, especially since I couldn't tell them the truth, and it sucked because I never hid things from them.

Kaia: "Hey, dork, is everything okay?" She asked, pulling up next to me in her car. I got out of my car and sighed, locking it.

Y/n: "I'm not so sure," She frowned, following me inside where the rest of my friends were.

Brandon: "Hey..." He looked at my face and sighed, "I can see this is serious." I sat down outside with them.

Charly: "Y/n/n, what's going on?" She asked, holding my hand, trying to calm me down.

Y/n: "Remember how I told y'all how Noah got caught up in some serious stuff?" They nodded, "Well, it's getting even more serious and my parents want us to fly out to New York to see what's exactly going on." I ran my fingers through my hair.

Maddy: "New York? Wait, is Harvey helping y'all with this?" I nodded. "Fuck, this is really serious." I shook my head.

Y/n: "New York gives me a bad feeling, and I don't want to leave now! I have school and I just---" I shut my mouth before I could blurt out anything about Bella. "Everything is going so well..." They frowned.

Jackson: "I know it is, but you will be okay. Everything is intense right now, but you'd rather sort it out than let it manifest and ruin everything else." He said, trying to get me to look on the brighter side of things.

Y/n: "I know, I just wanted to speak to you guys and let you know what's going on." They nodded.

Maddy: "Why don't we just chill and spend time together? I'm sure it will keep your mind busy." I nodded my head.

I spent a few hours at Brandon's house and got into my car, sitting there. I wanted to start the car and drive back home, but something in me didn't want to stay at home tonight or this entire weekend.

I just wanted her.

I started my car and drove over to the Hadid household. I knew what I was doing was reckless and I would get caught, but I couldn't give a shit about that. I parked the car and got out, texting her.

___

Y/n.

Hey, I know it is late, but I need to see you. I'm outside.

Bella 💕

Now? 😳 Okay, give me five.

Y/n.

Okay.

___

I slipped my phone into my back pocket and waited by her front door, hearing some shuffling from the other side. Bella opened the door and looked at me, confused and worried.

Bella: "Hey, come in." She dragged me inside and shut the door. "What's wrong? Are you okay?" She asked, looking to see if I was hurt.

Y/n: "Not really, I just needed to see you and I'm sorry. I know what I'm doing is risky and it could cause a lot of trouble, but---"

Bella: "I would rather have you come to me when something is bothering you instead of bottling it up. What's wrong?" She asked, circling her arms around my waist.

Y/n: "This thing with Nick is getting bad, Bella. I know this because my parents are really worried and I can see it. They have been trying to hide it from me, but I see and hear everything, even when I don't want to." I sighed, feeling overwhelmed.

Bella: "Hey, it's okay." She mumbled, placing her hand over my heart. "Just take slow breaths and try to slow down your breathing. We don't want you to have an anxiety attack." I nodded and tried to listen to her. "Come, I'll make you something to drink." She took my hand and led me to the kitchen.

Y/n: "I'm sorry. What if your parents hear us?" She made me sit on the stool in the kitchen and turned the lights on.

Bella: "Don't worry about me right now. Let's worry about you." She switched the kettle on and took two cups out.

Y/n: "I'm sorry, my head is just so messy and I can't think straight anymore. I'm trying so hard to keep everything together, but I can't do it anymore." I sighed out, "My head and heart are telling me two different things, and I can't deal with my family anymore. Whenever I have something good going for me, something always happens and it gets taken away." I confessed feeling my emotions had reached their tipping point.

Bella: "That can't be true." She sat down next to me once she finished making some hot chocolate for us.

Y/n: "But it is Bella, it always happens and I know it sounds like I'm being dramatic, but I'm not. I just want one thing to go right for me," I said, feeling my eyes getting glassy.

Bella: "And what's that?" She asked softly, rubbing my head.

Y/n: "I want it to be you." I answered, looking at her, "You're the only good thing I have going on right now and I just need—I want you to be in my life for a long time." I confessed feeling odd about talking about my emotions.

Bella: "You have me, nothing is going to take that away." She smiled slowly.

Y/n: "I pray to God that it's true," I took both her hands in mine and kissed them.

Bella: "Is this the only reason you came here so distraught?" I shook my head.

Y/n: "I have to leave with my family on Monday to sort out this Nick mess. We're going to New York for a few days, apparently. I'm not sure what's going to happen because he dug himself a deep hole and it's going to drag all of us into it if we don't go and find out what's happening." I explained, not giving anything away.

Bella: "I know this thing with Nick is deep and dangerous since you aren't sharing much with me or anyone, so I will respect it and wait for you to tell me when you can, but don't let it consume you so much. I know I'm not in your situation and I don't understand it, but you can't let Nick and his problems drag you down, baby. You're better than that," she encouraged, making me smile slowly.

Y/n: "You're the only one that seems to think so," I muttered.

Bella: "That's because I know your heart." She leaned in and gave me a sweet kiss, "That's all I need to know to know you are a good person." I pecked her lips once more.

Y/n: "Let's go away this weekend." I said, making her stare at me stunned. "I'm serious, just you and me. We can drive anywhere and do anything. Let's just be... free for a bit. No phones, no one to answer to, no one to hide from. I want you to myself for this weekend." I saw her pull back slightly.

Bella: "I never used to agree to things so quickly, and since meeting you, I can't seem to say no to you." I chuckled.

Y/n: "I'm taking that as a yes," she nodded.

Bella: "What are you going to tell everyone?" I shrugged.

Y/n: "I don't care. I'm just going to pack my bags, pick you up, and we can leave." I answered.

Bella: "Where do you want to go?" I hummed.

Y/n: "How about Vegas? I haven't been there for a while." She smiled.

Bella: "It's a date." I chuckled softly and kissed her. "What time are we leaving?" She asked.

Y/n: "It's a four-hour or so drive, so we should leave early. How does eight sound?" I asked, moving a strand of hair away from her face.

Bella: "It sounds perfect. So it's just us this weekend?" I nodded.

Y/n: "Just us."

___

I woke up early the next morning and packed my bag, getting ready to leave. I wrote a note to my parents and told them that I needed a weekend away from everything and that I would be back before we had to leave for New York.

I texted Bella that I was on my way and slowly went down the stairs with my bag and grabbed my keys, leaving the house. I put my bag in my trunk and got in the car, leaving my house.

I drove over to Bella's house and parked my car, waiting for her when I heard a loud thud. I jumped and saw Gigi standing there while Bella looked annoyed.

Y/n: "Uh... hey?" I smiled.

Gigi: "The fact that I didn't know you two were sneaking around hurt, and I'm also impressed that my sister managed to do this without being all horny." I chuckled and saw Bella glare at me.

Y/n: "I don't really know what to say," I got out of the car and moved to stand in front of the two Hadid sisters.

Gigi: "She explained what she could to me and I got it. I have nothing to say but just go and enjoy yourselves. I will cover for Bella and I hope you have someone covering for you." I nodded.

Y/n: "I told Brandon I would be going away and he kind of put everything together." I shook my head, thinking about the conversation I had with him.

He was happy and shocked at the same time.

Gigi: "My parents are early risers, so go!" She hugged her sister goodbye before hugging me, "Be careful and phone me if something happens!" She said, making us both nod.

I grabbed Bella's bags and put them in my car, giving Gigi one last hug before getting into my car. I waited for her to get back into the house before starting the engine and driving away. I looked over at Bella, who was smiling at me.

Bella: "I still can't believe we're doing this. I don't even know if we have somewhere to stay," I hummed.

Y/n: "I booked us a hotel, and you don't have to worry about a thing. We're just going to enjoy the sin city and maybe commit some sin of our own." I winked, turning my attention back to the road.

Bella: "I hope we do." She took my face in her hands and made me look at her. I slowed down the car and chuckled.

Y/n: "You're bad for me, Hadid. But in a good way, if that makes any sense." I stopped at the red light.

Bella: "Like you said, baby, it is our weekend and I think we have some sinning to do that's both beneficial to us."
