"Congratulations to the winner of the 74th Hunger Games!"

Cato held Becca's limp body to his chest as he sobbed, he couldn't contain his emotions; everything was going down hill all at once. The sound of a Hovercraft fills the Arena, his tear filled eyes glance up. The Hovercraft landed and Peacekeepers marched out of the craft, Cato was hysterical as they dragged him away from her body.

He felt his world falling apart as he was taken on board, he was strapped into a chair as doctors inspected him.

They inserted a needle into his neck, his vision went blurry and before he could even blink he passed out.

He woke up with a jolt, he was covered in sweat and shaking violently.

"Cato!" His head turned to the left of him where Enobaria and Brutus sat, the two of them stood up and walked over to Cato.

"You did amazing! All that training paid off." She says smiling, the blond stays silent. "Well, we'll leave you to get dressed, you have an interview with Caeser in a hour."

They leave the room and Cato stands up. He changes out of his clothes and into a blue suit then sits back on the bed, how could no one even care that i lost the love of my life? It was all just a dumb, barbaric show to him.

The door to his room opened suddenly and Brutus stood on the other end. "Come on lets get you something to eat." And with that Cato follows him.

"You ready?" Enobaria asked, the blond wanted to say no but that wasn't an option; so he nods.

She pushes him on stage, his eyes lock on the crowd. They started to clap and cheer, anger bubbled up in his chest.

"Cato!" Caeser said happily, he motions for his to join him. He looks away from the crowd and joins Ceaser.

"Cato, Cato, Cato, that was quite a show wasn't it. All the fighting and killing really had us on our toes. So how do you feel about winning the 74th Hunger Games?" He asked as he fought the urge to roll his eyes.

"Can i be honest?"

"Of course!" Cato glances at Enobaria and Brutus then back to Ceaser.

"I feel horrible, i feel like throwing up everything i think of it. Who in their right mind thinks killing kids is okay!?" He says and the blue haired man across from him frowns.

"I see-" He cuts him off.

"No you don't, you have no clue what its like in there! Its terrifying! At any moment you could die, or someone you love could be killed! You all are monsters!" He says standing up and yelling at the crowd, two guards quickly grab him and drag him off stage.
