I left for Moscow two nights ago. Meaning it has been exactly 3 days since I've last seen River after that time we almost kissed.

That shouldn't of happened.

Right now I am interrogating a fucker as to why he stole my shipment. Hence why I'm here in the first place.

"Tell me who you work for." I commanded him, dragging my knife down his exposed arm.

"Fuck you." He breathed out, his head hanging lowly and his breathing laboured.

"Strike one." I said, my voice never wavering from its calmness. I stabbed the knife into his upper arm and then dragged it to his thigh.

His screams of pain echoed into the basement and blood dripped down his bruised arm.

"Two more strikes and you're precious family will pay the price." I whispered harshly into his ear. I would never actually hurt an innocent family but it's the only way I can get him to talk.

"Let's try this again," I seethed, roughly gripping his jaw, "tell me who you fucking work for."

He swallowed the lump in his throat and hesitantly looked me in the eye before revealing the truth, "R-River Arccadi." The fuck?

My eyebrows furrowed in confusion and my jaw tightened in anger. That bitch.

She will fucking pay.

"I was assigned to take your shipment here as a distraction. She told me she had 'other plans' but I don'tย  know what they are." He explained further, moving his gaze to the floor.

I ran my hand along my jaw and inhaled a deep breath, trying to stop myself from beating the man plump.

"Theo," I said, motioning two fingers in the air for him to come over. He leaned off the wall and walked over to where I was, "delete the files. Delete it all." I ordered him, clenching my fists by my side.

"Ace, are you sure? She might not fall through with this mission if we corrupt her." He said with wide eyes at my sudden order.

The first time she betrayed me, I let it slide but now she's pushing her damn luck.

"An order is an order. Get it done." I spat out angrily, glaring at him for questioning me.

He nodded his head slowly and hastily walked out of the room, leaving me alone with this fucker.

A sinister smirk grazed my lips when I saw his eyes widen after I picked up my gun from the side. Without saying anything else, I shot his head, the gunshot sound echoing into the room, and watched his head hang low.

I threw the gun onto the table and walked out of the room, slamming the door shut behind me.

"Ace? You might wanna look at this." Theo said cautiously, walking beside me after I left the room.

My chest moved up and down as I took deep breaths, wondering what the fuck could go even more worse.

"What?" I grumbled.

He held out a USB stick to me so I took it, looking at him skeptically. With that, he left.

I looked down at the USB stick in confusion as I opened the door to my office, walking straight to my laptop.

Fuck knows what could be on here.

Once my laptop was loaded up, I put the USB in and waited for it to finish loading. Few moments later, it finally finished and on the screen was my security data base. Basically a place where I keep everything important. Including plans for my mafia, bank account details, etc.

At first I was confused as to why Theo gave me this since I don't need it. But as I clicked around on my documents, they were all blank. Everything was gone.

There was nothing on them.

What the fuck?

On top of that, 2 million dollar was missing from my bank account.

There was only one person who could be capable of doing such a thing. And that was River Arccadi.

I slammed my fist on the table, knocking a few things onto the floor, "Dammit." I gritted out angrily.

xXx

You would think for a powerful mafia leader he would be smart. But no.

This dumbass left his own enemy alone in his fucking house thinking I wouldn't do anything.

Oh how he was wrong.

I sent one of my men on a mission to distract him and keep him away from here so I could fall through with my plan.

All his shit is gone. Including his car and cologne. Obviously.

"Slight problem." Alea said from beside me, looking at her computer screen. I invited her over since I was bored out of my mind. We just got back from the movies and now we're chilling on my bed.

I groaned and peered over her shoulder at the computer screen, "Which is?" I grumbled, furrowing my eyebrows.

"Well," She cleared her throat, "your files are gone. Including all the progress we made with the Russians." She said cautiously, glancing over at me and showing me the computer screen that has nothing on it.

"What?" I practically yelled, not believing her. How the fuck does that happen?

"It's gone River." She sighed, putting the computer down.

I picked up the computer and frantically looked over the blank documents. No no no.

She is right.

All of my progress is gone which means I'm slipping further away from my revenge. My family won't get their revenge.

"Ace." I gritted out angrily.

Just as I said his name, the front door to his house slammed shut. Everything went silence and the only thing I could hear was his heavy footsteps in the hallway. He wasn't suppose to be back for a couple more days. Shit.

Me and Alea both exchanged looks of shock.

Each time his foot hits the floor, my heart thumped loudly in my chest. I wasn't scared, far from it actually. I was just shocked and angry.

If I thought I couldn't hate this man anymore then I was wrong.

"Leave." I whispered to Alea, ushering her out the door.

"Call me if something happens." She whispered. I nodded my head in response so she quickly left the room and walked out the house, going unnoticed by anyone.

Slowly, I opened my bedroom door and peered down the hallway as I tucked my knife into my pocket. The whole house was silent. So silent you could hear a pin drop. Even the guards looked fucking terrified.

Anger rushed through my veins like boiling hot water. I wanted to slit his fucking neck.

Quietly, I walked down the hallways and made my way to his office, where yelling was heard on the other side of it. I waited for a few moments. Each second that went by was like a ticking time bomb wanting to explode.

A glass shattered on the other side then a very tired looking Theo walked out. His eyes widened drastically when he spotted me standing there, looking at him in concern.

"I wouldn't go in if I were you." He warned, guarding the door.

"Me and him need to talk." I gritted out, clenching my fists by my sides.

Theo swallowed the lump in his throat. He knows what this is about.

"Talk when he's not about to fucking murder someone." He grumbled.

"No. Now." I seethed, pushing him out of the way and barging into Ace's office before he could say anything else.

I slammed the door shut behind me, easily gaining Ace's attention. His gaze crucified me as soon as he slowly looked up from his desk.

He was holding the edge of the table tightly in his grasp to the point where his knuckles turned white. His brunette hair hung messily above his forehead and his jaw was tensed in anger. The first few buttons of his shirt was undone, revealing his toned chest.

I've never seen him this angry but I don't give a fuck.

The silence between us couldย  cut easily but neither of dared to utter a word.

We kept our heated gazes locked on each other.

He straightened his posture and calmly walked over to the front of his desk. He leaned his rear against the desk and crossed his arms over his chest, the veins from his forearms bulging from the action.

Then his deep voice finally cut the deadly silence, "My company is in shambles because of you. You stole five million dollars from my own fucking bank account but I don't care. Not at all. What pissed me off was that you betrayed me." His fierce gaze locked me in place, "And I hate traitors, Arccadi."

"You are still the same Ace from years ago. Just because we're working together doesn't mean I have to be nice to you." I spat out angrily.

I held my breath when he abruptly leaned off his desk and took long, dominant strides over to me. With each step, goosebumps crawled up my skin as I watched him.

He stopped right in front of me, his face inches away from mine and his shirt brushed against my t-shirt.

"I have three words for you, Ace Del Rosso. I hate you." I seethed, watching his eyes narrow.

"Three words won't be enough to describe my hatred for you. Instead I'll show you." He leaned down to whisper into my ear, his tone low and promising, "I'll have you screaming it when I'm fucking this pussy of yours." He cupped my clothed pussy and I gasped in shock.
