I walked back outside my room and went to look for Ace again. Hopefully not fucking one of his bitches this time.

When I went to his office he wasn't there so I decided to try his bedroom. After getting lost about five times, I finally made it to his door. I pounded my fist on it twice and waited for him to open the door. I'm impatient so he better hurry the fuck up.

My eyes were met with the sight of his toned chest as soon as he opened the door. A towel was hanging dangerously low around his waist, showcasing his sharp V line with water droplets dripping down his defined torso.

Slowly, my eyes travelled up to his face, seeing that he has a stupid smirk on his lips. Probably because he caught me staring at him. Water dripped down from his hair and onto his face as he licked his lips, staring down at me with those emerald eyes.

"See something you like?" He tilted his head to the side, crossing his arms over his chest as he leaned against the doorframe.

"I've seen better." I shrugged my shoulders, smirking up at him.

"I bet." His lips pulled into a smug smirk as he gazed down at me.

I scoffed and rolled my eyes at his dumbass comment, "Step in front of the mirror every once in a while then you'll see how ugly you are."

"Oh yeah?" He cocked his head to the side and gripped my jaw with his tatted hand, tilting my head up to meet his intense gaze, "Keep your eyes up here then."

My narrowed eyes flickered between his as we held eye contact, neither of us dared to look away and his hand was still firmly gripping my jaw. Slowly, my tongue ran across my bottom lip as a smirk grazed them. Ace's hooded eyes flickered down to my lips then he slowly ran his tongue along the corner of his mouth.

"Move your fucking hand Ace before I chop it off and shove it down your Goddamn throat." I seethe, staring into his piercing emerald eyes.

His jaw clenched and he suddenly wrapped his other arm around my waist, and spun me around, pulling me towards his hard chest. "Tell me what to do one more fucking time." He whispered harshly into my ear as his lips brushed against my skin lightly.

"Move. Your. Fucking. Hand." I gritted out angrily and glared up at him.

Roughly, he pushed me up against the wall with a hand gripped around my throat firmly. Piercing green eyes stared down at me with annoyance. "Don't tell me what to do." He spat out angrily, glaring at me as he squeezed my throat.

"I'll do whatever the fuck I want. Right now, I want you in the meeting room in five." I pushed his chest and slammed his bedroom door shut behind me.

Motherfucker. I can't believe I have to work with this dick. I fucking hate him.

Twenty minutes later, Ace finally decides to show up to the meeting room wearing a tailored dark grey suit. I said in five but this motherfucker has a thing for being late to anything.

"Can you not tell the time?" I tilted my head, propping my feet up on his desk.

"Yeah," He looks down at his watch, "It's pass the time where I gave a fuck." He fakes a shocked expression and sat in the seat in front of me.

I rolled my eyes at him and sat myself upright, "So tell me, why were you there yesterday?"

"When I said the Russians were getting on my last nerve, I meant it. The car that was blown up was one of mine that had something valuable in it and they were trying to get it. Seeing you there was just a coincidence."

I slowly nodded my head in understanding, staring at the floor deep in thought. "So who was the guy that was shot?"

"The deliverer." He perched his elbows onto the chairs arms, "Why were you there River?"

A smirk grazed my lips as I looked over at him, "Well, I was coming back from a meeting with one of their men. They had offered me money to kill you."

He perched his fists against his mouth, "Why didn't you accept?"

"Why would I do something for my family's murderers? That's next level of stupidity." I scoffed and leaned back in my seat. "So instead of accepting, I killed the fucker then his minions pulled up out of no where."

The audacity they had of asking me for a favour after killing my family is unreal. If I want to kill Ace then I'll do it myself. Not under anyones authorisation.

"What valuable item was this?" I tilted my head to the side.

Ace sighed deeply and leaned his head back against the seat, "Now why would I tell you that darling?"

"Because we're working together so I need to know every detail." I shrugged my shoulders.

"So? You're still the River Arccadi I hate." He tilted his head to the side and made direct eye contact with me.

"I see how it is." I smirked.

His eyebrows raised slightly as he licked his lips slowly. My phone pinged with a message so I retrieved it from my pocket and opened it.

Alea๐Ÿง๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿš—: Here.
Me: Be out in 5.

"You're boring me, goodbye." I got off my seat and walked out of the office, not waiting for his response.

When I got outside I saw Alea standing there with a computer bag in her hands, smiling when she saw me. Her curly brunette hair was tied into a messy bun with a few strands falling over her tanned face. I lead her towards me room and we quickly set up the computers and got to work.

"Can't believe you work with him." She scoffed as she typed away on the computer.

"Anything for my family." I sighed, writing on the piece of paper in front of me.

"So what happens when the deal ends?" Alea spun her chair around to face me and raised her eyebrow. "And why the fuck are you staying here?"

"We use the information we find to corrupt his company then I kill him." I shrugged my shoulders and put my pen down. "He said it'll be easier to work with him."

"And what does he get out of this deal?" She furrowed her eyebrows in confusion.

"That's what I was thinking. It can't be just to get the Russians to disappear. There has to be more."ย  I stared at the floor, deep in thought. So many questions swirled inside my mind. What valuable thing were they trying to get? What does Ace get out of this deal?

"We'll find out soon or later. This motherfucker is dumb as fuck because I got through his security quicker than expected." She scoffed and clicked around on the computer as I sat on the seat next to her. "It'll take a while to download the files and shit though."

"Good job Al." I grinned, high high-fiving her, "Lets celebrate with some drinks." I wiggled my eyebrows up and down.

"Fuck yeah." She smiled widely and got up from her seat.

Me and Alea finally made it to the club down the street. Loud music echoed into the night sky as we approached the entrance doors wearing our tightly fitted dresses.

"Lets dance." Alea yelled over the loud music, dragging me towards the crowded dance floor.

We swayed our hips in sync with the musics beat as we smiled at each other, getting lost in the rhythm. Everyone's eyes were on us but we didn't care as we danced on each other, ignoring everyone around us. With my eyes closed, I danced on Alea as she moved her hands along my curves.

I felt a pair of eyes burning on my body, I turned around and opened my eyes to be with a familiar pair of green ones. He was sitting in the VIP area across the room, both of his legs were spread open as he watched me.

He was wearing a black fitted Armani dress shirt, the first few buttons being undone, showing the tattoos painted on his skin, with black slacks and shoes. His sleeves were rolled up, revealing his veiny, tatted forearms and his messy brunette hair fell over his forehead. My eyes went up to the silver chain playing around his neck then to his sharp jawline.

Ace licked his lips and splayed his arm over the couch as his green eyes bore into my blue ones. A blonde was sitting next to him, whispering things into his ear and touching him but he payed her no mind as he watched me dance.

I continued to move my body, keeping eye contact with him as a smirk grew on his lips. Ace took a sip of the whiskey in his hand and leaned back in his seat, never taking his eyes off me.

I was so lost in the music that I didn't even realise I was dancing on a random guy until his arms snaked around my waist. A smirk grew on my lips and I grinded against the stranger, wrapping my arms around his neck as he moved his face to my neck.

"Goddamn." The stranger muttered under his breath and rocked his hips with mine as he snaked his hands higher around me. I looked over to where Ace was to see him not there anymore.

Couple minutes later, I finally got tired of dancing so I went to the bar at the back and ordered a drink as I waited for Alea to finish doing whatever the fuck it is she's doing.

"Refill?" I turned my head to the side and saw the stranger from earlier sitting next to me with a smirk on his face. Oh God.

"I'm good." I mumbled, swirling the drink in my glass as I stared at the table.

"C'mon just one more baby." He pleaded as he moved closer to me and trailed his hand up my thigh.

I was about to snap at the bitch in front of me but a deep voice from behind us interrupted me.

"She said she's good." I turned around to see Ace glaring at the guy as he walked over to us. I rolled my eyes and continued sipping on my drink.

"And who the fuck are you?" The bozo sneered.

Ace gripped the man's wrist and pushed it off my thigh, "I could show you." He cracked his knuckles and grabbed the man's collar roughly.

I scoffed and chuckled dryly, "Jesus Christ. Ace leave him."

The mans eyes widened, "Y-you're Ace?" He stuttered like an idiot. I don't get it. There's literally nothing scary about the fucker. The only thing that is scary about him is his fugly face which damages my eye sight.

"The one and only." Ace smirked and pushed the man onto the ground.

"I'm sorry man I didn't know." The guy got up from the floor and swallowed the lump in his throat. Ace rolled his eyes and called over his bodyguards to throw him out the club.

"I can protect myself dickhead." I grumbled and down the last of my drink.

Ace sat down next to me and leaned his forearms against the table, smirking at me. "I know you can." He shrugged his shoulders and ordered himself a drink. Why does he even care?

I rolled my eyes in response and drummed my fingers against the table. "Following me now Del Rosso?" I turned my head towards him.

"I own the club darling so I think you were following me." He sipped his drink as he gazed down at me.

"You wish." I scoffed, rolling my eyes as I got up from the barstool, wobbling a bit. Think I had too many martinis.

Ace gripped onto my hips to stabilise me as he got up from his seat. "I'll drive you back."
