"Head straight north, there's going to be thousands of refugeesβ€”just get into that street and don't look up." Cressida warned them while handing Ophelia a coat, she wrapped the coat around her body and thanked her.

"You ready?" She peered over at Finnick and nodded slowly. Katniss was the first person to walk out, Ophelia quickly said goodbye to Tigris, Peeta, Cressida, and Pollux then followed behind her.

She pulled the hood over her head and watched the ground as they walked, she bit her lip as her ankle and head continued to ache excruciatingly.

"Please continue to move forward in an orderly fashion, additional food and medicine will be provided." The intercom rang throughout the plaza, the four of them didn't dare to look up. They would be found instantly in the cameras and be killed.

They entered through a gate and joined a large group of refugees. Finnick grabbed onto the brunette's hand as they blended in with the thousands.

Ophelia glanced up and at the Peacekeeper standing by the gates of Snow's mansion. He looked right at her.

Her heart dropped into her stomach, she looked down immediately and held her breath. More Peacekeepers joined the crowd and started looking through the refugees. She felt Finnick tense up beside her too.

Gale and Katniss spun around and walked in the other direction, Finnick pulled her close and did the same. However, as soon as they did they a tall Peacekeeper was heading straight for them.

They turned right back around and headed in the direction as everyone else around them.

Two more Peacekeepers joined the group, Ophelia's breaths got shallower and shallower by the minute. Her heart was beating out of her chest.

Suddenly something behind them exploded. The ground shook below them and all four of them fell to the ground. The brunette's face slammed into the ground but even though her face stung, she got up and gaped around her.

"Stay low!" Finnick shouts at her as gun shots go off. Rebels were attacking.

"Come on!" Gale yelled and pointed to a piece of concrete for them to hide behind. They ran hastily and got behind the concrete. Gale grabbed a gun from a dead Peacekeeper then continued to move forward. They followed, dodging every explosion behind them.

"Move!" Ophelia shouted at Katniss and Gale as a truck exploded and flipped over right by them. Katniss fell to the ground, but she pulled her up before she could blink.

Gale, on the other hand, was taken by two Peacekeepers.

Ophelia grabbed her gun from the holiest but nothing was there, she must have lost it after the first explosion.

Katniss picked up her bow from the ground where it had fallen a moment ago and pointed it at them. He was shoved in a truck before she could get a shot.

"Ophelia!" Finnick called. He was running with Katniss into the group of refugees. She followed them but quickly lost them as chaos spread throughout the crowd.

She pushed through the crowd and moved towards the gates, she stopped and watched Peacekeepers in front of her take the refugee's children away and barricade them off from each other. She pushed her anxiety about Finnick and Katniss away and focused on what was going on around her.

Everyone was looking up so Ophelia did the same and looked up. A hovercraft dropped down tiny white parachutes like the ones from her games. The children in front of her put their hands up in the air and reached out for them.

Her eyebrows furrowed as one touched a little girls hand, a large explosion followed along with smoke and fire.

Gut-wrenching screams came from the crowd as more dropped.

Ophelia was thrown to the ground for the third time in the past 48 hours. She couldn't move nor breathe. All the air was taken from her lungs.

It was like her sleep paralysis all over again.

She felt hot tears run down her face, her lungs finally started working again but all she inhaled was smoke.

The ringing in her ears was back, but this time it was much worse. Ophelia tried to sit up but her body wouldn't let her. She squeezed her eyes shut and tried to think of good things as she waited for help, that would probably never come.

She wanted to be back home in her house, with Finnick at her side. She wanted to have a normal life, where the Hunger Games was never made and where Snow didn't exist.
She felt even more tears slip down her face.

Blood poured out of her mouth and nose. After minutes of choking on blood, she finally gained the strength to sit up and cough up the blood. She looked up at the sky through squinted eyes just in enough time to see another parachute drop.

The parachute exploded right above her, Ophelia let out another scream. Her body felt like it was on fire, she wailed and cried even harder as she struggled to hold onto her consciousness.

She couldn't pass out, but the urge was hard to resist.
She tried, and tired, and fought, and fought. But she couldn't hold it back any longer.

After a long battle, she let the darkness snatch her from the light.
