The black water continued to rise and so did Ophelia's anxiety. Her back was pressed up against a wall and her arms were wrapped around herself, she couldn't hide the panic crawling up and down her skin.

"It's slowing down!" She turned her head to the voice then back to the water, sure enough the water stopped and started to retreat.

"451 to base, over." Jackson said loudly into the walkie-talkie.

"We gotta move, the Peacekeepers didn't know where we were, but they do now."

Ophelia wanted to crawl into a hole and die as she tried to control her breathing. She locked eyes with Finnick, he was holding up a sedated Peeta. He mouths "you okay?" and she nods slowly before looking back at Jackson.

"451 to base, come in." Jackson continued to try and contact District 13.

"This is a bad spot we need to move now."

"451 to base. Over." She shoved the walkie in her pocket before speaking again. "I can't get a signal. But I can get us back to base, Everdeen give me the Holo."

Katniss doesn't move an inch, the older woman glared at her. "Come on Everdeen, what did I just say? Give me the Holo."

"Boggs gave it to me." She muttered.

"What are you talking about-"

"He did, he transferred security clearance to her. I saw him." Mitchell spoke up.

"And why would he do that?" Jackson fired back.

"I'm on special orders from Coin."

"To do what?"

"Assassinate president Snow." Ophelia's eyes widened at Katniss.

"I don't believe that for once second. As your commander I order you to transfer security clearance to me now." She said sternly bur Katniss just shook her head.

"I can't do that." Jackson reaches for her gun and Gale jumps into action bringing his gun to her face. 

"Let's not lose our heads here." He said as he put his finger on the trigger.

The brunette grabs her gun from its holster and holds its tight at her side just in case.

"I'm not asking again Everdeen give me that Holo."

"She's telling the truth." Cressida steps in front of Katniss. "Plutarch wants a televise. He thinks if we can get the mockingjay assassinating president Snow it'll make the capitol surrender before the casualties get too high."

"While we're arguing there's a 100 Peacekeepers on their way here." Mitchell piped in again.

"Boggs promised me that when the time came you would help me." Katniss said as she pushed Gales gun away from Jackson.

She stood there for a few moments processing her words, after what seemed like an eternity Jackson lowered her gun and spoke. "Alright soldier. Holo's yours."

Squad 451 entered the building and headed up the steps to take cover, Ophelia ran straight to the window once they reached the second floor. She peaked her head around the curtain and watched the Peacekeepers arrive and head to the building across from them where they were a few moments before.

Her heart stopped as the shots went off, Leeg 1 and Leeg 2 were still inside. They fired their guns back at the Peacekeepers but it was no use, one of the men threw a grande through the window and took cover.

The building exploded and the ground rattled below them. She didn't realize it at first but she was crying, even though she didn't know the Leegs that well she still felt pain and sorrow. Finnick wrapped his arms around her and pulled her close to his warm body. She felt better immediately.

Suddenly the Capitol anthem went off behind them, the TV in the background showed a live broadcast of Caesar Flickerman.

Finnick and Ophelia pulled away from each other to watch the broadcast.

"Good afternoon I'm Caesar Flickerman here with out continuing coverage of the defense of the Capitol. Today as our Peacekeepers hold off the rebels our story takes a surprising twist, Katniss Everdeen our once favorite daughter has infiltrated the city with some of the Victors who's names are all to familiar. Ophelia Parks, Finnick Odair, and Peeta Mellark."

A clip of Katniss being tackled by Peeta plays.  "Mhm clearly some alliances don't last forever. Take a look at what happened just moment ago when our Peacekeepers corner Katniss Everdeen and her band of foolish rebels. What every arrogance brought this treacherous girl back to us. You are about to witness a great victory not only for the Capitol but for Panem." Another clip played but this time it was the Peacekeepers blowing up the building with the Leegs in it.

She looks away as it plays again, she couldn't witness that horrible thing another time.

"So there you have it, Katniss Everdeen the girl on fire the girl who inspired so much violence seems to have had a violent end herself. Say tuned for more information thank you."
