The six sat on the sand, discussing what other Tributes were left. "So besides Brutus and Enobaria, who's left?" "Maybe Chaff? Just those three." Peeta said.

"They know they're out numbered, we're safe on the beach for now." Finnick says leaning against a tree. "So what do we do, hunt them down?"

A scream fills everyone's ears except Ophelia's, they all stand up and look around wide eyed. "Whats going on?" The brunette said trying her best to hear what they do.

A muffled, "Katniss help me!" was all she could get.

"Prim!" The dark haired girl shouted running towards the sound, Finnick ran after her.

"Wait!" She yelled at Peeta as he was about to follow. "Hold on," The two ran towards them, black birds swarming around them.

Katniss slammed into a force field and started to scream as birds tore into her back, "Peeta!" She mouthed but no sound came out.

"Its okay, its okay!" He said back but it was no help, she couldn't hear him.

The force field faded away and Peeta wrapped his arms around the shaking girl. Ophelia's eyes landed on Finnick who was sat on the ground. He looked like he was lost in thought.

"Finn," She cooed as she bent down, he looked shaken up.

She for once didn't know what to say, whatever he heard had messed him up. "Finnic-" She was cut off by the dirty blond pulling her into a hug. She was surprised at first but responded quickly.

"Its okay, whatever you hear wasn't real." She pulled back and looked into his sea foam colored eyes.

"The whole country loves your sister, if they tortured her there would be riots in the damn Capital." Johanna's words made her look away from him.

"How does that sound Snow!? What if we- what if we set your backyard on fire? You know you can't put everybody in here!" Katniss' mouth was hung open and the older girl smirked.

"What he can't hurt me, there's no one left that i love." Ophelia's heart sunk as the words left her best friends mouth.

She sighed. "I'll get you some water."

She followed Finnick onto the beach, he sat down in the water. "Wanna talk about it?" She asked sitting next to him, the coldness sending shivers down her spine. He stayed silent. "Its better to get it out, than leave it inside."

He looked to her and let out a shaky sigh. "Alright."

"Was it one of your family members?" "No." He replied, and she looked down to her hands.

"It was you," She quickly looked up to him. "What?" She ran a hand through her hair.

"it was your screams i heard."

She grabbed his hand, "I'm okay, Finn. It wasn't real." "But it sounded real." He let a tear fall, then wiped it off. "I thought someone hurt you, i was scared. You're the only person i really care about, well and Mags. But she isn't here."

Butterflies filled her stomach and she swears his eyes flicker to her lips. "Finnick..-"

"You don't have to say anything." He said cutting her off, then looking back to Peeta, Johanna and Katniss sitting on the sand.

She leans in and presses her lips to his, he seems taken back but responds quickly. She pulls back, butterflies around swarming again. His eyes slowly open and he smiles.

"You are amazing." Before she could say more Johanna walks towards them.

"Finnick, Ophelia! Come on." They stand up and follow her. She leans against the tree as they discuss Beetee's plan.

She felt the pain slowly start to come back as the Morphing wore off. Her headache was back and so was her rib pain, she didn't know how much longer she could take.

"We head to the lighting tree, that should draw them back to the beach. Right at midnight we then run this wire from the tree to the water, anyone in the water or in the damp sand will be electrocuted." He says picking up some sand in his hand and squishing it.

"How do we know the wires not gonna burn up?" Johanna asked, folding her arms across her chest. "Because i invented it, i assure you it won't burn up."

The rest of their talk was a blur. Ophelia coughed and blood poured out of her mouth, she spit and closed her eyes. "Ophelia, are you okay?" Johanna said and Finnick looked to her. "I-i don't know."

She was feeling very lightheaded all of the sudden and from what she learned from her dad when he was alive, that all these symptoms meant she was bleeding internally. The dirty blond rushed over to her as she sunk to the ground. "I think I'm bleeding internally." His eyes went wide and he held her hand.

"How do you know?" He asked. "The stiff neck, headache, and coughing blood." she wiped the crimson liquid from the side of her mouth. "It must have been caused by the impact from the force field." Katniss grabbed a leaf full of water and made her drink.

Finnick looked worried and that was worrying Ophelia. "As i was saying you would only have to keep me safe for no longer than six hours." Beetee piped up, causing Finnick to glare at him.

Finnick ended up carrying her to the lighting tree, after they got there the five started to set up the trap. Music started playing and the brunette looked up, faces appeared on the sky. Gloss, Cashmere, Wiress and some Tributes from 5, 6, 7 and 11.

"A lighting strike contains 5 billion-" Ophelia blocked Beetee's words out and closed her eyes, she was trying to save her strength for when the fighting happened but being starving wasn't helping.

"You go with Johanna." Her eyes snap open and she looks to the older man. "Shes too weak, let her stay with us." "No."

"Its okay, I'm fine." She said standing up. "Katniss you go with them too." "I'll go with her, they'll need protection." Peeta says.

"No, There's two Careers out there, i need two guards." "Finnick can protect you just fine on his own." "Yeah, why can't Finnick protect you?" Katniss pips in.

"Johanna, Finnick, and Ophelia can stay with you and Peeta and i can take the coil." "You'll keep me alive till midnight, correct?"

"Its his plan, we all agreed to it." Johanna folds her arms as the words come out of her mouth. "Is there a problem?" The dirty blond says doing the same as Joe. "Good question."

"Okay, fine." The dark haired girl said then makes out with Peeta. Ophelia looks away then to Finnick, he pulls her towards him and puts his soft lips on hers. Warmth fills her body as his hands shift from her waist to her neck. He pulls away and hugs her.

"You'll be okay."

Ahhh they finally kissed!!!!! I wrote the beach scene without a kiss at first, cause i wanted their first kiss to be a goodbye kiss but i changed it and yeah! So, sorry if it sucks! I honestly rushed this chapter..... Anywayyyy byeeeee!
