"Tell me something I don't know."
- Yoke Lore

Isaac

"Forgive me."

"Are you kidding me?" she scoffed instantly. "You think flowers and chocolates will solve everything, huh?I'm not Christiana. I am Riley Hills."

"I know baby, please, I was so stupid!
Give me another chance, I swear I'll not mess it up!" I begged.

Since when did Isaac Miller beg?

"You had your chances, you messed it up. I much as I love you, you hurt me." She turned to her heels but I didn't give up. I ran after her, almost falling down when I missed one step.

"Go away, Miller." She wasn't calling me Isaac anymore. Fuck me.

"Please Ry,we'll start over if that's what you want!" I shouted, running my hand frustratedly throughout my already messy hair.

"Ok."

"Ok?"

"You have one week trial," she smiled before walking inside of her room and locking it behind.

"Isaac? What are you doing here?" I turned around to find Dylan, laughing.

"Your sister."

"Oh, I see. Good luck!" She patted my shoulders before heading downstairs.
I kicked Ry's door as I left.

I feel so incompetent.

I didn't even know if I'd be able to do that in a week only.

"So..." my mom chirped impatiently.

"I have a week to prove myself and sincerely mom, I'm incapable." I admitted truthfully, receiving a hard slap on my head.

"Mom!" I shouted, "that hurt!"

"You deserved it,my stupid little baby boy.You can do it! Mom's here to help you and besides, you can ask Lori for relationship tips, she has recently accepted the wedding proposal of Paris Whitman." Mom continued.

"Wait... really?" I asked, confused. "Why wasn't I aware?"

"I thought you knew!"

I huffed, even more frustrated.

Day 1

I got up extra early today to begin my day with confidence and organization.
Today was my first trial day. I was dressed in a pair of black jeans and an orange tee-shirt that Jill bought me for my last birthday. I put on my watch and ruffled my fingers through my hair.

Taking a final glance in my mirror, I chuckled. I looked like a nerd with my watch and my tamed hair.

Blake picked me up and on our way, we stopped by Roderick's house to pick him up equally.

"So man, what are those depressive quotes you've been posting on the gram?" Roderick questioned, punching me in the ribs.

"Fuck you. You're ruining my mood!"

At school, I spotted Ry with her friend Zoe. I laughed to death when I saw Blake taking pictures of Zoe - my man had a crush on her.

"You perv," Roderick scoffed.

"You bitch. At least I'm not the one crushing on Dylan Hills," Blake clapped back, raising an eyebrow.

Last night, I planned my whole schedule named 'Five Days To Win Riley Back'.

I got up from my table and anxiously walked to Riley. First of all, I was anxious and secondly, I was at school.

"Miller," she said, clearing her throat.
Her friend Zoe was silently chuckling in the back. I could already picture Blake taking his phone out creepily and snapping shots of Zoe.

"You mute?" Zoe asked from behind.
Did a wing grow on her? She was so confident today.

"Can I talk to you privately?" I asked,
rolling my eyes.

"Sure....I'll see you later Zo." We walked to a more silent part of the school.

"Can I take you on a date, tomorrow tonight Riley?"

"Sure." She paused. "I'm free at 8.Meet me at BlueVille Diner." And then, she left.

_________

Day 2

"Is my outfit good?" I asked anxiously.

"It's good," Lori huffed for the umpteenth time. I facetimed her instead of asking Jill for help. Jill was too immature to take things seriously.
S

he was definitely the most annoying out of the two.

"Are you sure?" I asked again, just to annoy her.

"Yes,you motherfucker," she gritted.

I ended the call fifteen minutes later, grabbed my keys and my phone and headed downstairs. On my way, I stopped by the florist, as per recommended by my mom and bought another bouquet of roses.

7.50 p.m

I wasalready at BV Diner. I texted her earlier if I should pick her up but she said she'd come with her car. I was currently writing the steps in my journal to record this special moment of our relationship.

7.55 p.m

"Would you like a drink?" the waitress asked.

Adrenaline rushed in my veins. I was super anxious and it was not even my first time going on a date.

"No thanks," I replied with a small smile. The lady winked at me but I just shrugged it off.

8.00 p.m

Riley should be here at any minute.

8.10 p.m

There might had been traffic congestion or she was just simply late.

8.20 p.m

"Do you want to order, sir?" a familiar voice asked.

"Roderick? The fuck?" I raised an eyebrow.

"I work here at times! It's my uncle's diner,"
he laughed.

"Can you bring me a coke, please?"

"In a sec, bro." He winked and left.

8.45 p.m

"You sure she's coming bro?" Roderick asked. He had been keeping me company for twenty-five minutes sharp now. Riley didn't turned up but I'd wait till 9.10 p.m and if she doesn't show up, I'll have to go.

"I hope she does." I admitted truthfully.

Day 3

Riley never turned up yesterday. I tried calling her but she ignored me but I still had two more days left and I couldn't lose hope. I was currently seated in the school park, alone. When I heard the familiar notification sound, I quickly grabbed my phone from my bag.

Riley
Can you meet me in the janitor's 67B?

Isaac Fucking Miller
Right there!

I eagerly ran to the janitorial section.
But when I get it, instead of seeing Riley, I saw a guy with weird looks staring at me.

"Heard you wanna bang?" he asked. I looked at him horrifyingly. What the actual fuck? I ran out of the room, terrified, not caring about being rude and rushed to the cafeteria.

"You good?" Blake questioned, an eyebrow raised.

"Yes... No."

Did Riley just prank me?

Riley
I see you've got out.

Isaac
You want it old? Let the prank wars begin.

Riley
May the best prankster win.

So, she wanted to start over like the old days? As long as I won her back,I was okay with everything she wanted to do.

Since there was only two days left, I had no other choice than to begin today. I went straight to the printing room and made printouts of an old picture of Riley - not the same I used to prank her last year. It was one of her when she was around 13 looking like a chav. She had her braces, her stern makeup and her hair was wrongly braided, making it even more funny.

I grabbed some bottles of glue from a random table and started sticking the photos across the wall of the hallway. There was barely thirty students in there since everyone was in the cafeteria.

By the end of lunch break, I was all done, admiring at my masterpiece. I waited patiently in a corner and from afar, I noticed Riley accompanied with Zoe and a freshman,I supposed.

The closer she was coming, the more anticipated I felt. The student I paid to give Riley a picture of herself did his job perfectly and I laughed evilly when I noticed the change of emotion of her face - she blushed in embarrassment.

"I look like a chav," I could read on her lips.

"You were one," Zoe joked and she playfully punch her.

I ran out of the school building, happy about my successful plan.

Day 4

"Did you do what I told you?" Right now, I was seated in the back of one of Blake's cars.I was waiting patiently for Riley to come since I had special things planned for her.

Roderick nodded.

"Good job."

I smiled when I noticed Riley, alone, coming out of the gymnasium. She was dressed in a blue sports bra and a white tennis skirt. Her glowy blonde and blue hair was tied up in a ponytail.

"Get the eggs ready." I ordered and we all snuck out of the car.

Just when she was about to enter the school building, we started throwing
rotten eggs on her - her white skirt was now tarnished, her hair oily and her face... angry.

"You fucking bitches!" she screamed and lunged towards me. Before I had time to react, she was already jumping on me.

Basic instinct, I grabbed her legs, letting the sticky substance melt against my clean, fresh clothes.

We spent a few seconds staring at each other, her legs tightly wrapped around my waist. Her lips met mine soon after. I missed that taste. I craved it every single day.

"I missed you," she cooed silently and when I pulled away to look at her, tears were falling down her cheeks.

"Babe, don't cry." I presser my forehead against her's.

"Get a room!" Blake and Roderick yelled simultaneously. Ry and I chuckled and I pecked her lips one more time before placing her down.

"I'll pick you up tonight at 7," I whispered before we went in our seperate ways.

"Don't you dare do into my car," Blake warned and I ran to him, hugging him.

"I. Will. Kill. You." He warned in between pauses.

"I love you too... Come on Rod!"

_________

Day 5

I adjusted my shirt for the last time before getting out of my car. I walked towards the front door of Riley's house, with a red rose in hand.

"Isaac, you here to see Ry?" Dylan questioned cheekily and I nodded. While she rushed upstairs, I went over to where Noah was seated.

"Hey man," I greeted, as we shook hands. We discussed for a while and then, my eyes widened when I noticed my girlfriend standing on top of the stairs. She was dressed in a short red dress, her perfect hair strands curled and her lips peppered with red.

I got up from my seat and walked towards her.

"You look breathtaking," I complimented, still blinded and amazed by her beauty.

"Thanks."

We left the house after taking some pictures. Dylan pestered the both of us, claiming that this moment was important in our relationship time-line. We decided to go to BV Diner like last time(except for the fact that I went there alone).

"What would you like to order, Sir?" the same lady from the last time asked.

"Two cokes." I requested, taking Riley's hands in mine. I pecked each of her knuckles.

"So, am I forgiven?"

"No." My face went dead.

"I'm kidding love.Of course, I love you too much."

"I love you."

We spent the rest of the night in the Diner and in a close park afterwards.

I was happy, again.
